Their children had gone on another dangerous expedition. And this time, they did not even know when they would be back.

The time difference was there, but it was also nighttime in the Heliox estate now.

The moon was not there since it was cloudy tonight, but the moonlight was present.

The waves of the ocean, the salty winds, the sounds of the water and the people, as well as the loneliness of the parents… combined, the Heliox estate was not the same as it used to be just a few hours ago anymore.

He wanted to reassure her, sooth her worries a little, but that was not working.

They had just gone away this morning, and it almost seemed like they had been gone for a long, long time now.

"He's barely sixteen and he's already doing things we should have been doing! Protecting his sister from self-harming awakening that we did not even foresee? Placing safety measures so that nothing goes wrong with her, even giving her a friend… we should have been the ones doing all these as the parents!"

She was worried about her babies.

She had cried for hours right after Eon left. She did not know why these things kept happening with them. Why their children have to go into dangerous places even though they have done nothing wrong?

She was helpless when she lost Eon back when he was just a baby, she was helpless when Anna was growing up without knowing where her big brother was, she was helpless when her little princess asked her about the powers that she had… and she was helpless many times after that.

She was not angry right now, she simply was helpless at the moment and frustrated. She had cried enough for the tears to have run dry and now, there was nothing left to shed in those eyes aside from resentment towards her own helplessness.

"Calm down?! How can I calm down when my babies are gone into that shithole-like place once again?!

Eon had reassured them that they would be fine. He even told them how the place that they would be staying in is absolutely safe and that even if they take time to come back, they would still come back.

"Eon was hurt when he came back as well, you know that, right?! I didn't want him to go out once again… he was here to have fun with us! He has vacations, he was supposed to spend his holidays with us!"

She was shouting so loudly that it attracted many creatures around them.

Right now, a certain kind of bird species that was attracted by loud noises, had gathered around them in large numbers.

They were practically surrounded by a dozen of these white seagull-like birds. They were dumb creatures that simply walked around the two of them without harming them in any manner.

They were attracted by loud noises, and with how loud Nol was being, this number was only going to grow…

However, they did not worry about these harmless birds.

"Eon came here to rest, and the very next day, he went to that whorehouse! I don't even know why he went there!

Nol was simply frustrated right now.

She could not help how things had been going ever since they came here, and if she had known it would be this fucked up, she would not have taken them here in the first place.

Nolen was not the only one that was having this kind of conversation with their partners. Haze was simply crying in her room, while Aug and El were discussing what they would do in the worst case scenarios.

The Marchioness and the master of the Heliox were discussing how they were going to take care of the younger parents with her brother. They were the elders right now and while the children were away, it was up to them to look after the adults of this family.

The butler that served the household, the butler whose master had gone to a deadly horror that he did not want anyone close to him to experience.

He knew why they called these places Forbidden areas. And, even if they might be in a sanctuary, they were still going to interact with that horrible place inevitably.

And, he was uncertain about how that would happen… he did not know how long they would take to come back this time, but even though he did not believe in any gods anymore, even he was praying that they come back safe and sound, along with their young miss as well.

He was merely a servant even though he might be a part of this family. His role was to serve them, and for that, he would do anything within his power even if it meant going against the authority of the divinities and the headmaster…

"I. Don't. Like. This!"

Nolen stomped on the ground in frustration for a moment, and Brain let her do whatever she wanted, for however long she wanted.

He knew she did not have much energy left after all that crying and shouting anyway, so he simply stood there and watched her…

It wasn't that he felt any better than her or anything. Even he felt terrible as a father as well as a husband when his son was taking on all the burden of not just this family, but also the entire world.

He did not like it, in fact, he was more angry and frustrated than Nol. Just like El and Theo who were feeling bitter and helpless, all he could do right now was to support his spouse and be with her.

There was nothing else left to do… the vacation that was supposed to be full of all fun and joy with the children was no longer possible.

"Brian… why are you… just sitting there?"

"What should I do then, Nol?"

"Shout with me!" He was worried that she would go crazy from all the pressure and trauma that she was going through.

He could not see her in this state…

"Alright then, I'll shout with you."

There was no medicine that he could give her, so he simply did as she wanted him. And, hoped for their children's safe return, at the very least.
