[Eon's POV: ]

"You should stay with us."

"Hmm?"

After grandmother thanked almost all of the party members equally individually, they all were also promised an extra reward from her side for being with us, something they couldn't refuse even if they wanted to.

Additionally, since they were people who got entangled into something they shouldn't have, they were also promised appropriate compensation by the Olsens.

The party members were all suppressed to receive so much of the benefits after going through something that wasn't really as threatening as many other things that they had been through, but that did not matter to them at the moment.

Being in this house, being in the presence of people that they had only ever looked up to, knowing that the people they were fighting with were in fact us, something they all considered an ideal, was a reward bigger than most of the other rewards they were promised.

They were already receiving a hefty amount for something as small as this, and even though they all had to go through something unexpected, they were simply knocked out by the poisonous fog in the last area of the dungeon.

Unlike us who had to spend many days fighting the Naga, they had not faced any great danger and that made the whole reward thing a little burdensome to them.

Still, they were being offered these things by people that were far higher in status than them, so there was no room to refuse any of it.

'Still, they cherished the experience much more than anything else.'

They were excited to be in this house, some were even mustering up their courage to come up to some of us and ask us for guidance.

The great uncle was here, our great aunt was here, all of us from Heliox were also here so, there were currently three sword [Kings] in this house including the one from Olsens.

The kind of guidance that they could gain from them would be much more valuable than anything else, and, knowing this, grandma was offering them a precious opportunity.

"Pardon, Great Lady?"

"Did… did you just ask… ask us to stay here?"

"You want us to stay here for longer~?!"

Some of them were excited, some were confused to hear her, but, since she was specifically looking at Miss Nerissa, the poison master understood what the Lady intended.

"It would be our pleasure, Great Lady."

The name (Brewer of a thousand poisons) started spreading when she helped a certain person from a certain household deal with someone in a certain higher class in a certain way with a certain kind of concoction.

This certain happening had happened after a certain incident that almost everyone in the higher society of Roxanna was aware of so much of it was pretty obvious to most of them.

However, even after employing help from the highest possible level, even after bringing in people from the best places, they never managed to find the source of this unique yet strange concoction.

"Good. And, while you're here, why don't you take a look at the Bullion Buffalos that we have brought from the mainland? I remember you having a peculiar interest in those creatures."

There was an obvious surprise in the eyes of the <S> rank adventurer when she heard that name. A name that the others present there did not recognize at all.

"I… I indeed have interest in those creatures, but… you brought one here?"

They were so rare that the people of distant lands like these might never even have heard of that species. So, the others' reaction was obvious.

Still, the fact that she was surprised and even recognised that name showed her vast knowledge.

"We in fact brought a couple. Taika, our dear Taiger, was the one that personally domesticated them as well."

"I-is that so?"

Now, there was a sudden shock on her face.

"Hehe." And Anna couldn't help her giggle when she saw that reaction.

"A tiger…?"

"There is a tiger here?!"

"Is this the famous tiger of Lord Brian?! I've heard about them!"

Dad and Taika were only now starting to spread their name in the world with their achievements.

There were many things that they had done in our absence and they had made a name for themselves.

'People did not remember them for their connection with Heliox anymore, but because of the achievements that they had made.'

The association of the name Brian, the (tier-7) tri-element Wide-area destructive-spell master and the Tiger Taika had become unique in its own way.

Seeing them recognize it like this and being surprised at how there was a tiger in this place, was certainly a delight to us.

'And since I can see mom teasing dad on the balcony, it's even funnier.'

Anyway, Miss Nerissa was stunned to know there were two rare creatures in this house right and that they were going to stay here for a little longer now.

'She obviously wanted to see these creatures to extract some of their organic materials from them and now that she had the chance, I knew pretty well she would do her best to get all kinds of samples from them.'

Additionally, those creatures weren't the only unique beings present in this house.

This was the official Heliox estate filled with a plethora of unique stable creatures ranging from the finest of the horses to the most difficult to maintain breeds of reptiles.

'We actually had the lowest kind of earth drakes, a species called (Drulls), and all of them were present on this very island.'

There was Uto, there was Quin's unborn friend, and then there was my little Celes who had stopped saying anything ever since we entered that third area of the dungeon.

'She was upset that she was of no help when we were fighting the Naga and the other snake as it had restricted us from summoning our familiar.'

She understood that we were facing a trial and there was nothing she could do about it, but she felt it when I entered that dark world as well, and was so afraid that she wanted to burst forth those restrictions.

But, however much she tried, she could not do it. And, when it all had ended, she again realised just how powerless she was… leading to her silence.

'Perhaps she was reflecting on herself or introspecting. Perhaps she was finding some kind of new strength hidden inside of her, or perhaps she was simply upset… whatever the case, she had not spoken much ever since then, and I don't like it.'

After all of this is over, I'll have to talk with her… no. We have to talk about this.

"While you're here, Miss Nerissa Belladonna, would you tell some of your fine stories to my dear little angel? She likes listening to fun stories and those filled with dramatic details, so I think you two will get along pretty well."

Miss Nerissa had a connection with the Heliox, with grandmother, so she knew this wasn't simply a request.

She was asking her to look after the one she, as well as all of Us, cherished the most.

Also, she could see it in my eyes that I wouldn't just sit idly if something happens to her because of her 'stories'. So, she knew she had to be careful about whatever she would be telling her.

This was a sensitive matter. Anna wasn't simply a responsibility that anyone could take.

"I… will try my best."

An <S> rank would obviously have a bunch of fun stories so grandma wanted her to be Anna's playmate for a few days.

'With the rest of us doing our things here and with Rein and I gone over the next week, she will be all by herself.'

There wouldn't be much to do here with only Zoe and the others, so, at least having someone new telling her about her experiences, someone that had a unique snake as a familiar, would certainly be a good change of air.

It was a good idea to have her around, but that wasn't the only reason to keep Miss Nerissa and the rest of them here.

They also wanted them to relax a little so that we can erase a part of their memories about this whole happening.

'Since it involved the Olsens and us, it was a basic procedure.'

The memory erasing wouldn't happen on the subconscious level like what I do with my memory magic. But, it would simply be a conscious level procedure done with an illusion series of magic.

That much was enough, and I know even the Olsens would want that.

[{ "We went through a lot these past few days…" }]

Rein was exhausted. And so was I…

[{ "I wanna go to bed and sleep and wake up and make a huge feast for everyone." }]

I wasn't that hungry. I simply wanted to make something delicious for the others.

That would be more fulfilling for me.

Anyway…

"Good." Grandma nodded with a smile and asked the others if they were fine with the decision as well.

They were free to do whatever they wanted when they were here, and of course that included training with the knights and seeing the training of the other knights.

So, most of them did not want to miss this opportunity.

Even the old knight captain was surprised to receive this grand opportunity.

'They looked forward to it…'

And now that the things here are over, we looked forward to what we are going to do going forward from this point.
