Is It Wrong to Abusing Cartoon Tropes in Dungeon?

Chapter 7: 7 I Have a Dream!

Magic, especially that mastered by the Elves, is powerful. Their racial superiority makes them naturally possess great magic power. Once they receive Falna, they will have skills in terms of magic.

The Elves may not be so strong in close combat, as their close combat ability is rather weak. However, in a team, it becomes a different story. An Elves mage protected by their comrades could turn into a devastating magic cannon, performing magic attacks raining down on the monsters.

Altair also wanted to achieve this. After all, if he could take out monsters from a long distance, who would bother going into close combat? Exterminating enemies remotely, just by moving a finger, was much more practical.

At this stage, Altair could already do this, thanks to his firearms. However, this weapon required a few magical modifications.

First up is the magazine. Originally, the magazine was used to store bullets, but now it had to be changed to store magic stones. Magic stones are irregular in shape and size, with almost no two being exactly the same. Altair's first task was to sharpen these magic stones into the same size so that they could be neatly placed into the magazine.

This was not a difficult task. Altair had a tool that could easily sharpen the magic stones, and in a short time, he had already managed to create a batch of magic stone bullets of uniform size.

Looking at the neatly arranged magic stone bullets, Altair nodded in satisfaction. "This is the power of industrial technology!"

The magic stone fragments produced from the honing process were not thrown away either. They were all collected because they were useful materials.

After finishing making the magic stone bullets, the next step was to modify the firearms.

The firearm originally used a spike to trigger gunpowder, but now, it would be changed to utilize the magical energy from the magic stone bullets.

This was an interesting challenge, albeit a little troublesome. However, under the guidance of Grey Wolf's wisdom, Altair managed to develop a spike that could trigger magic and installed it into an AK-47. Thus, an ordinary firearm turned into a magic weapon.

Each magic bullet could release magic energy equivalent to twenty ordinary bullets. So, if one magazine contains 30 bullets, it can produce 600 shots now. The amount of ammunition increased dramatically.

Besides the AK-47, Altair also had two pistols, which he modified into magic versions of the Desert Eagle. If it wasn't for the weight issue, Altair even wanted to make a black and white version of this weapon, which would definitely look cool!

Then, there were the high-explosive grenades. The fragments from the magic stone bullets were inserted into the grenade, replacing the gunpowder and producing a magical explosion!

Raising the newly made magic grenade, Altair nodded in satisfaction again. "This is much more useful than a magic staff!"

For the RPG, Altair originally wanted to turn it into a light cannon. RPGs were usually launched from the shoulder, firing rockets. However, if the rockets were changed to use magic stones as an energy source, then they could fire beams of light. Unfortunately, Altair did not have a magic stone large enough to support this idea, so he was forced to abandon the plan.

Instead, Altair modified his rocket, filling the rocket with magic stone fragments to produce a magical explosion, similar to a magic grenade.

After finishing with long-range weapons, Altair switched to melee weapons.

Altair only had two knives as melee weapons, as he rarely fought in close quarters. However, with the existence of magic weapons, he felt the need to prepare more different melee weapons.

His knives were modified from ordinary tactical knives to high-frequency vibrating knives, increasing cutting and crushing capabilities. The energy source was, of course, magic stones.

Apart from knives, Altair also made two weapons that looked very futuristic.

They were four centimeters in diameter, twenty centimeters long, and had a special button on the side. Once pressed, light would be emitted.

That's right, this is a Lightsaber! A real man's dream!

Its energy source also comes from magic stones. A high-speed stream of magical energy that did not disperse, circled back after reaching a certain distance, creating an extremely deadly magic electric saw effect.

With a press of a button, Altair summoned the blue light of his magic sword, which shone like a blue cylinder from the hilt.

Zzzzzttt

A buzzing sound rang out as magical energy rapidly spun inside. Altair swung his sword at the workbench, cutting through the metal with ease. The cut marks even looked melted.

"That's great!" Altair praised his handiwork.

Although powerful, this sword had a flaw, the energy from the magic stones ran out quickly. One magic stone could only support the sword for three minutes. After that, the magic stone had to be replaced.

However, Altair had anticipated this and made the magic stones as batteries that could be replaced easily, even the same size as magic bullets.

After switching off the lightsaber and placing it on the table, Altair gazed at his modified magical weapons. He felt very excited about his next adventure in the dungeon.

"Everyone, the times have turned even scarier!"
