Chapter 54
Chapter 54

Sector-13.
The world designated [Transvia] was a savage one.
A world of medieval fantasy, with swords and magic, where knights and mages led wars, and kingdoms constantly fought and plundered each other.
The dominant intelligent species of Transvia were bipedal humanoids. They differed from Earth humans in several ways: their eyes were entirely black, they lacked any body hair except for the hair on their heads, and they possessed reptilian tails.
As befitting an invading civilization, they were inherently more violent and aggressive than humans.
While conflict, competition, envy, and jealousy were inherent to all intelligent species, including humans, the humanoids of Transvia took it to an extreme. The more advanced their civilizations became, the more they focused on conquering and subjugating other nations. The kingdoms and empires of Transvia were built on a foundation of plunder and war.
Weaker nations were consumed or assimilated, until only a handful of powerful kingdoms remained, locked in a perpetual struggle for dominance.
But the endless, brutal wars had taken their toll. The people and their nations were exhausted.
Some nations managed to establish peace and focus on internal affairs. But for kingdoms whose economies were built on war and plunder, such a transition was impossible. Their military industries relied on conflict, their trade depended on stolen goods, and their very faith was intertwined with war and conquest. Peace was an alien concept, impossible to adapt to.
“Your Majesty, if this continues, our people will slowly starve and wither.” A humanoid with pale, grayish skin bowed before the king.
“Is there a solution?” the king asked. They couldn’t return to their old ways of war and plunder. The other kingdoms, weary of centuries of conflict, had formed an alliance, agreeing to unite against any nation that initiated hostilities. Any attempt at war would result in a combined assault from all the other kingdoms. Even a kingdom built on conquest couldn’t afford to fight the entire continent.
So the mages devised a cunning plan.
What if they waged war not against each other, but against a world outside their own, a world not bound by their alliance?
It wasn’t impossible. Transvia was a world where swordsmanship and magic were highly developed. Given enough time, they could open a portal to another dimension.
But the kingdom’s leaders weren’t fools.
“If we open a portal, we must consider the possibility that the civilization on the other side is more powerful than us.”
“There may be those who foresee the opening of the portal. Prophets and dimensional seers may exist in that world as well.”
“We’ve taken that into consideration, Your Majesty. Rest assured.”
That’s why the kingdom hadn’t opened a permanent portal yet.
“Our kingdom began by raiding peaceful farms.”
While the other civilization might be stronger, the kingdom knew how to hunt and plunder those stronger than themselves. They knew how to breach defenses and conquer kingdoms.
So, under the guise of “exchange,” they opened a temporary portal to Earth, specifically to South Korea, to assess its technological and military capabilities. Their initial demand for 70% tribute wasn’t a serious offer; it was a test, a prelude to plunder.
“We’ve assessed the other civilization’s capabilities.”
“They possess mana and abilities, and their technology appears to be more advanced than our own.”
“However, their understanding of magic and mana engineering is relatively recent.”
“Our greatest advantage is our ability to open portals. We can use this to our advantage!”
They would send raiding parties through the portal, plundering cities and villages before retreating before the enemy could mobilize. They could open and close the portal at will, allowing them to raid with impunity.
The invaders believed themselves to be righteous. They had declared their right to conquer, their divine right to rule.
All invaders had grand justifications.
For the good of their nation.
To avoid extinction.
To secure a better future.
For their people.
To usher in a glorious new era!
Thus, the invaders, or rather, their leaders, marched towards a path paved with good intentions, a road to hell. Because it wasn’t their own feet that walked through the flames. They rode on the backs of the young and innocent, sucking them dry, discarding them when they were spent, and moving on to new victims.
*‘Go forth, and you will find glory and prosperity for yourself, your people, and our eternal kingdom!’*
*‘Onward, to victory and glory!’*
They pointed the way, their words filled with empty promises. The young, the naive, or those who knew the truth but had no other choice, followed blindly, dazzled by the bright path laid before them.
So they prepared to raid.
While the South Korean government busied itself with negotiations and paperwork, the kingdom plotted to plunder Earth’s resources.
“For our new era!”
“Huzzah!”
“Your families, your mothers and fathers, your children and descendants, will sing your praises! For you have brought us abundance, you have brought us prosperity, you have reaped the rewards from the stormiest of seas!”
Good and evil became meaningless as they transformed into righteous plunderers, their mouths watering at the thought of spoils.
“Though their weapons and power may be strong, it is our birthright to take what we desire!”
“Plunder everything! Kill the men, enslave the women!”
The preparations were complete.
They would close the portal they had opened under the guise of exchange.
And then, the one-sided plunder would begin.
*‘The enemy remains unaware. They have no idea we’re about to attack.’*
*‘They don’t know. Those who till the land are always complacent and weak.’*
*‘Their wealth will feed our children!’*
The kingdom’s plan was sound. Recognizing that the enemy (South Korea) was at least their equal, perhaps even stronger, they had wisely avoided a direct confrontation, choosing instead to utilize their ability to open portals for guerilla warfare and raids.
Yes, it was a good plan.
“Ahahahaha!”
Until a certain Succubus Empress arrived.

Ahhh, such fresh air. Clean and crisp, unlike the polluted air of Seoul. The water was clear, and the sky held several smaller suns. Two suns, yet the light was strangely subdued.
A wondrous world…
Beautiful.
While other worlds always felt alien, there was a certain beauty in their strangeness, an enchanting novelty.
“Hmm?”
The Rift closed.
She turned around just as the portal vanished. *Had the Korean government tricked her, exiled her to another dimension?*
No, Dan Unnie would never do that.
And even though *that* Rift was closed, there were other connections.
*‘The link to Earth is still there.’*
The wolf-girl Defector.
And Yoo-jin of Hoyeon Guild.
While not exactly her thralls, the faint threads of connection still lingered, proof that Earth and Transvia weren’t completely severed.
*‘A temporary closure… or perhaps there are other ways to open the Rift.’*
So, there was a way back.
Which meant…
She was alone in this world?
She was the only one.
The only one in this world with such beauty…?
Dan Unnie wasn’t here.
There were no civilians to protect.
No one to tell her what to do.
So she could indulge in her beauty without restraint?
She could spread her beauty throughout this world?
Her beauty.
*Her* beauty.
The absolute, undeniable beauty that was *her*.
From here…
Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly.
“Hee, heehee…!”
She laughed.
Laughter bubbled up from within.
A smile spread across her face.
Her lips curled upwards.
“snrnsi!!”
She heard a voice.
A voice speaking to her.
Someone emerged from between the leaf-shaped buildings. A humanoid creature with no eyebrows or body hair, only the hair on its head.
Ah, a humanoid.
An intelligent being.
Which meant… they could understand her beauty.
Ah, aha.
“clguliuulul!”
“whtla gofk! gurliy!”
They were speaking to her.
Warning her.
They recognized her.
They bared their teeth.
They held weapons.
They glared at her.
They looked at her back.
Ah, aha, exciting.
She was excited.
A smile.
First impressions were important.
Now, remove the veil.
And greet them.
“Hello~♥”
“…”
“…”
“…”
The noisy creatures fell silent.
Their spears and swords clattered to the ground.
The hostile mana dissipated.
They looked at her.
Despite their different appearance, they understood her beauty.
These humanoids understood her beauty!
She was beautiful, even here!
“Cough!!!!”
“Gah!!!!”
“Ugh…!”
They coughed up blood.
Blood flowed from their noses.
Blood spewed from their mouths.
Yet they continued to stare at her, unable to tear their eyes away.
“Am I… pretty?”
She was pretty.
They nodded.
Even though they didn’t understand her words, they understood her intent. Subsumed by her will, they nodded readily.
—■■■■■■■■■■■■!
Suddenly, her violin appeared in her hands.
“Oh? You want to play here?”
She hadn’t played her Ego Violin in a while.
Heehee, don’t worry.
“Here… I can play to my heart’s content.”
Without worrying about civilians.
Everyone…
Everyone would be captivated by her beauty.
By her melody.
—♪♪♪♪♪~!!!
The Ego Violin glowed, its strings vibrating with excitement, responding to her unleashed will. The children within cried out.
—*Hooray!*
—*Play!*
—*We’re free here!*
—*Play as much as you want!*
—*Play endlessly!*
—*Drive them mad!*
—*Enthrall them!*
—*Curse them!*
—*Enchant them!*
—*Play until they die!*
—*Adelie penguin!*
—*Sex!*
—*Play! Play! Play!*
“Heehee, calm down.”
The glowing strings of the violin extended outwards like spiderwebs, piercing the heads of the captivated humanoids.
—*Language!*
—*Understanding!*
—*Sound!*
—*Voice!*
—*Words!*
—*Consume! Consume!*
“Oh my, you can do that?”
As the violin’s owner, Jae-hee understood what the children within were doing. They were devouring the minds and thoughts of the humanoids, seeking understanding.
The laws of this world.
Their intentions.
Their capacity for music.
Their very nature.
Before cursing, charming, and enchanting them, the children sought to understand.
“Gah… ugh…!”
One of them resisted. While captivated, a fragment of his will remained. He stared at her, tears of blood streaming down his face, fighting against the tendrils of the Ego Violin invading his mind.
“Oh my, perhaps you’re a noble, a general?”
Now that she looked closer, his gaze wasn’t one of longing, but defiance.
Ah, how impressive.
A hero.
Yes.
Perhaps he was a hero in this world, in this kingdom.
“Heehee.”
She laughed, amused by his defiance.
“Open your heart.”
“Cough!!!!”
The blood flowing from his eyes now gushed from his mouth and nose, seeping from beneath his fingernails.
Now, was his heart sufficiently melted?
“Heehee, good boy.”
His melted heart was hers now.
Not that she had any use for it.
