Chapter 3 : System
As he was immersed in processing the new information provided by the system, he suddenly heard a knock on the door.
Out of habit, he responded, "Come in."
The door of the room slowly opened, revealing a girl in a maid costume staring at him as if she had seen a ghost or something. Frozen in terror would be the correct words to describe it, but the expression the maid was making was like she saw something she desperately longed for and finally appeared before her.
'Damn, it's making me curious to know how I look now.'
Feeling uncomfortable being stared at, he spoke, "If you don't mind, can you stop staring?"
Hearing his voice, the maid broke off from her trance. Taking a moment to compose herself, she spoke, "Pardon me, young master. I suddenly remembered an important task I needed to finish. I will be back shortly."
Just as she finished speaking, she slowly made her way towards the door, closing it on her way out as silently as possible.
"Who was that?" Axis asked aloud.
{No idea, host.}
"Let's just wait for her to return. She did say she would return shortly."
Not even a minute passed, and he could hear footsteps coming from the corridor, getting closer. With a knock on the door, the familiar voice of the maid who had just left asked for permission to enter the room.
"Young master, may I come in?"
"Yes, come in," Axis responded.
The door opened again, and the maid reentered, this time with a more composed expression. She bowed deeply before speaking. "Young master, I apologize for my earlier behavior. It was inappropriate of me."
"That's alright," Axis said, waving his hand dismissively. "Just tell me what's going on."
"Young master, my name is Ranel. I am your personal maid, assigned to take care of you during your stay here." She straightened up and continued, "If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask."
Axis nodded, taking in the information. "Thank you, Ranel. I appreciate it."
Ranel glanced around the room, noting the untouched breakfast on a nearby table. "Would you like something to eat, young master? You must be hungry."
Axis realized he hadn't even noticed the food. "Yes, that would be good, thank you."
Axis watched Ranel leave the room with the cold breakfast, his mind still buzzing with questions. He needed to understand more about this new world and his place in it.
"System, show me the status again."
{As you command, host.}

Axis scanned the details, trying to piece everything together. He paused, considering the implications of his stats. "System, what's combat power?"
{Combat power represents your overall strength or the level of power you possess in combat. It is an aggregate measure of your abilities.}
"Alright, that makes sense. I can roughly guess what charm and luck are. What about strength, agility, stamina, perception, and magic power?"
{Strength represents your physical power and force.}
{Agility measures your speed, reflexes, and overall nimbleness.}
{Stamina indicates your endurance, and resilience.}
{Perception gauges your awareness, accuracy, and sensory capabilities.}
{Magic power reflects your ability to harness and control magical energies or mana most call it .}
Axis nodded, feeling more grounded with this knowledge. "Got it. So, what can I do with these stat points?"
{Stat points can be used to increase your individual attributes. You have 2 stat points available. You can allocate them to any attribute you choose to enhance.}
"Hmm, I'll hold onto them for now. What about EXP? How do I gain experience points?"
{Experience points, or EXP, are gained through completing tasks, training, hunting, and overcoming challenges.}
{ Accumulating EXP allows you to level up your current abilities, techniques and can also help you learn new abilities and potential.}
Axis contemplated his next move, feeling a mix of excitement and uncertainty. "I see. So, the more I engage in activities and complete tasks, the more EXP I earn. That sounds straightforward enough."
As he mulled over his next steps, Ranel returned with a fresh tray of food. She set it down on the table and looked at him expectantly. "Is there anything else you need, young master?"
Axis shook his head. "No, this is good. Thank you, Ranel."
She smiled and gave a small bow before stepping back to give him space. Axis dug into the meal, savoring the rich flavors. It was a stark contrast to the bland hospital food he remembered from his previous life.
Once he finished eating, he felt a renewed sense of determination. "System, do you have any tasks for me to complete today?"
{Yes, host. Your first task is to begin basic physical training to strengthen your body. Given your current weak condition, light exercises will be sufficient for now.}
"Physical training, huh? That sounds manageable. What should I start with?"
{Start with basic stretches and light jogging in place. Gradually increase the intensity as your body adapts.}
Axis got off the bed and began his new routine. The exercises were simple but challenging for his small, weak body. Despite the difficulty, he pushed through, feeling a sense of purpose with each movement.
After an hour of training, he collapsed back onto the bed, breathing heavily but feeling accomplished. "Alright, what's next?"
{Rest and recover, host. Your body needs time to adapt to the new regimen.}
"Fair enough," Axis said, lying back and closing his eyes. The day had barely begun, but he already felt he was on the path to something greater.

Here is the revised draft:

As the days passed, Axis settled into a routine. Each morning, he trained his body, pushing his limits a little further each day. In the afternoons, he explored the mansion, discovering its many secrets and hidden passages. Ranel proved to be an invaluable guide, always ready to assist and answer his questions.
Though there was a troublesum old guy called Marco, apparently he was the head doctor in charge of this part of the mansion. Namely infirmary.
' He pestered me for some days doing some tests even when I was asleep but he stopped
seeing I was recovering nicely and even gave me a pretty wooden carved brooch which I liked very much. '
One evening, after an especially grueling training session, Axis lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. "System, how much EXP have I gained so far?"

=====================
{You have gained 10 EXP so far, host.}
"That doesn't sound like much," Axis mused. "How do I gain skills?"
{Most skills require a basic understanding of mana. Since you have yet to undergo the awakening ceremony, it is suggested that you not focus on them for now.}
{However, do not be disheartened, host. You will undergo the awakening ceremony next week.}
Axis sighed. "So, I have a long way to go. Any advice on how to gain more EXP quickly?"
{Engaging in more challenging tasks, training with higher intensity, and exploring new areas will yield higher EXP. Additionally, completing specific quests will provide significant EXP rewards.}
"Quests, huh? Do you have any quests for me right now?"
{Yes, host. Your next quest is to learn the basics of magic. This will prepare you for your mana awakening.}
Axis's eyes lit up with excitement. "Magic? Now that's something I've been looking forward to. How do I start?"
{Seek out the library within the mansion. There, you will find books on basic magical theory and practice. Study them thoroughly.}
"Got it. I'll head to the library first thing tomorrow."
