"Two unknown alien creatures are fighting each other?" Tony kept his hands in a defensive posture, glancing at the strange black creature lying behind the woman. He quickly assessed the scene based on the destruction around them.
At that moment, the black kitten's paws, which had been embedded in the ground, started to move.
Tony was startled and assumed the creature intended to harm the civilians who were evacuating. Reacting quickly, he fired a beam from his laser cannon!
The bright, blinding laser illuminated the street, striking the black kitten's head in an instant!
Boom!
Burning energy and flames engulfed the small figure. Mike withdrew his claws from the ground. Now that he had secured the symbiote, he no longer needed the tentacle railings.
However, Tony's attack had come without warning, hitting him directly on the forehead—an action that made him quite angry!
If Mike had been in his normal frame of mind, he might have just brushed it off as a misunderstanding.
But now, it was the three-in-one Mike.
It was a rare moment when human rationality almost ceased to exist within him.
Mike had become a violent, bloodthirsty, wild, and extreme person, driven to commit ruthless acts!
So, as the extremely destructive laser energy waves streamed along his dark, shadowed body, Mike, now in the form of a sleek black cat, transformed into a flash of black light. He broke through the sound barrier, lunging straight into Iron Man's lower abdomen!
Bang!
Iron Man felt as if a miniature truck had rammed into him at full force. Jarvis, the artificial intelligence, immediately issued a "damaged component" warning, indicating that Iron Man's suit had sustained heavy damage. The impact sent him crashing into the outer wall of a nearby skyscraper.
"Fire!" Tony's suit was embedded deep within the wall as Stark growled in frustration.
Suddenly, the hidden weapon systems within the suit's shoulders activated, and four micro-missiles with fiery trails launched toward the black cat!
Mike hovered in mid-air, staring at the incoming missiles. Without hesitation, he opened his mouth wide — shockingly expanding to three or four times the size of his body — like a gaping maw, he bit down on the oncoming missiles as if they were mere candy!
The micro-missiles exploded simultaneously in his mouth, merely causing his face to puff out before quickly deflating again. He let out a small burp, releasing several smoky rings tainted with the scent of gunpowder.
"..." Tony looked on in disbelief, finally understanding why Banner had wanted to unleash the Hulk a moment ago.
This cat...
It was an utterly unreasonable, unscientific monster!
Gritting his teeth, Tony engaged his suit's engines, firing off more missiles and lasers in a full-on assault. Tony, suspended dozens of meters in the air, turned into a veritable turret, his entire suit aglow as missiles and laser beams shot down, converging on Mike below in a dazzling, deadly display.
Mike grinned devilishly, his hardened black claws and long, tentacle-like tail swatting at the missiles with incredible speed, as if he were batting at flies.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions filled the air, and shockwaves shattered windows along the street, sending shards of glass scattering everywhere.
Suddenly, one missile veered off course, heading straight toward May, who was still on the scene.
"No!" Tony saw the trajectory shift, but it was too late to intervene.
May's eyes widened in terror as the missile closed in, but just then, Peter, despite his weakened state, managed to push her down, using his own gray-green, mutated body as a shield to absorb the blast.
In the aftermath of the explosion, half of Peter's face — covered in the liquid armor of the symbiote — had melted away, revealing his youthful features beneath. A single tear, a sign of his humanity, fell onto May's face.
In the midst of the chaos, Mike, cloaked in his black skin, observed Peter with a twinge of compassion, as Venom commented in his mind, "That human boy... he's still fighting to maintain control. But it's temporary. Soon, the symbiote within him will completely dominate."
"So, he still has a chance?" Mike's eyes regained a bit of clarity, a faint hope sparking within him.
Venom replied, "If there's a way to separate him from the symbiote, then yes."
"I see." Mike's gaze shifted from Peter to Tony hovering above, and a flash of inspiration struck him.
He stretched out his two claws, shooting them upward to latch onto Tony's feet and hands!
"What the…?" Tony barely had a moment to react before he was pulled down and swallowed by a pitch-black void!
With Iron Man removed from the battlefield, Mike returned his focus to Peter.
Despite the small size of his cat form, Mike's gaze and presence were overwhelming. Peter, partially controlled by the symbiote, instinctively knelt, barely able to contain his fear and pain as the gray-green ooze began to cover his face again.
"Kill me…" Peter whispered, his voice strained, "Please, I can't… hold on… much longer."
May, teary-eyed, tried to pull the symbiote off him, but it was futile. Peter was succumbing to the symbiote's control.
"Then, as you wish." Mike raised a claw, coldly obliging Peter's request.
Snap!
Mike's black tentacle-like tail wrapped around Peter's feet while his claws gripped Peter's arms. He ignored May's desperate pleas, his mouth stretching into a grotesque, fang-filled maw.
Venom laughed wickedly in Mike's mind, "About time! Just devour him already!"
"Hold on tight." Mike whispered, his words laced with a strange compassion.
Venom was caught off guard, "What… what are you doing?"
Instead of consuming Peter, Mike took a deep breath, his chest expanding as he prepared to unleash a devastating sound.
The next instant, an ear-splitting, ultrasonic roar erupted from his mouth, sending shockwaves through the air. Within a five-mile radius, windows shattered, lights burst, and cars shook.
Peter's symbiotic covering convulsed and began to bubble under the force of the soundwave. The gray-green slime peeled away, separating from Peter's body.
Venom, struggling within Mike, howled in agony, "Stop! You're going to sever my connection too!"
But Mike remained unfazed, resolute as he continued to release the deafening roar. Unlike ordinary symbiote hosts, he had gained only Venom's abilities, not its weaknesses. His plan was to sever Venom's hold entirely.
"Mike, you… you're insane!" Venom screamed as it lost its grip, forcibly separated from Mike's body and put into a dormant state.
With the symbiote's hold gone, Mike, still a black kitten, retained his strength without the toxic influence of Venom.
Breathing a sigh of relief, he looked down at Peter, who was now free from the second symbiote. Without hesitation, he opened his mouth once more, swallowing the remnants of the second symbiote to prevent it from ever harming anyone again.
---
In a mysterious, pitch-black void.
The darkness stretched infinitely, devoid of any light or sense of orientation.
Tony, trapped in this bizarre space, flew aimlessly, his suit's lights cutting through the haze as he desperately tried to find an exit.
"Jarvis… answer me… Jarvis…"
Tony, inside the Iron Man suit, called out for the fifth time.
But, as before, there was no response.
From the moment he had entered this place, Tony had lost contact with his artificial intelligence, Jarvis, and his network signal displayed as— *none*.
Logically, Tony used satellite signals exclusive to his own tech empire, so as long as he was anywhere on Earth, this kind of total signal loss shouldn't be possible.
"Are we seriously not on Earth anymore?" Tony muttered, feeling an unusual wave of panic. Even back when he was imprisoned in a cave by criminals, before he became Iron Man, he hadn't felt this kind of dread.
