Chapter 31: The Concept Of Cybernetic Transfusion...
It was a fairly large hall, right at the highest room present in the mini-skyscraper, called a small house by Captain Aliea.
The entire floor and ceiling were in an absolute covering of white, with not even a single object present.
Just a white blank room, and within stood, a duo, of a young man and a lady, each possessing strange colors of the same hair and eyes.
"So, um, how do you do this training thingy?" Hael asked, looking at Captain Aliea who had her large tablet in front of her face. She was putting on a white-colored coat that reached to her knees, and wearing a spectacle on her face. Not like one who had come to train someone in combat.
"We start with knowledge..." Captain Aliea said as she raised up her head and suddenly a strange blue holograph appeared in front of her face, and she rapidly tapped on it. "Hmm, doesn't that look like the system's interface..." Hael thought with confusion in his eyes before the snort rang directly in his head.
"That's just a stupid hologram. We aren't even comparable at all..." The system's disdainful voice rang out as Hael turned suddenly witnessed a spectacular transformation, causing him to look behind him, as the floor suddenly opened up and a seat came out of it, and looking back to Captain Aliea, he could see she was now standing on an elevated platform which wasn't there just seconds ago.

The wall behind her suddenly turned and its other side was a wall-sized rectangular glass-like piece, which was covered in a blank piece of white light, with the word ORCANO, flickering around on different areas.
"Have a seat..." Captain Aliea said as Hael sat down, and looked at the strange technology which was rapidly changing its picture and seemed to be as a result of Captain Aliea's small tablet.
"I have spoken with one of my friends, who works in the Orcano Military Cybertransfusion labs.
They said they would have a spot for you tomorrow. So we have a lot to cover..." Captain Aliea said as Hael raised an eyebrow. "Um, a spot for what?"
"A spot for your cybernetic transplantation, of course..."
"What!?" Hael jumped from his seat in shock.
"I thought I mentioned that to you, barely 8 hours ago?" Captain Aliea said tapping repeatedly on her tablet as Hael looked blankly at her...
"Um?" She asked, adjusting her glasses.
"Yes. I remember you mentioning that..." He replied.
"So why do you sound so surprised?"
"I just never thought it would be so fast. You know, I never said I wanted to go..."
[Don't be so quick to refuse because you have magic. Let her explain the concept first, and we'll determine if it's worth it or not,] the system said to him, advising him to not outright reject the idea, and Hael also skillfully completed his words.
"I mean, I didn't want to go so early..." He finished as Captain Aliea shrugged.
"The faster the better. Normally an unplanned transfusion like yours would have taken around three months before the request is even considered. Getting approval in less than a day is a very rare thing..." Instructor Aelia said and it only surprised Hael even more. If it normally takes months for unplanned requests to be accepted, then how did her request get accepted so fast?
"Before you will be undergoing your fusion, I feel like it's very necessary to introduce the concept of the cybernetic transfusion to you..." Captain Aliea said as Hael sat up well.
"Firstly, what is Cybernetic transfusion, and its origins?" Captain Aliea asked.
"It started with the Eldritches arrival. Their ability of magic was something that was mystifying to us. Their ability to transform from a helpless human form to a form straight out of nightmares and capable of otherworldly devastation was not only something amazing to our eyes, but something also alarming to us..."
"We knew well, while they looked like capable of reasoning, and also seemed to be only focused on returning back to their world. We would be helpless to them if they suddenly went out of control.
We couldn't leave our survival in the hands of a group of monsters who don't seem to have an appetite for us now. So an idea that had for thousands of years been recited and loved but has been ignored due to its lack of need and being a waste of time was once again brought up.
The funny and stupid idea of turning humans into superheroes.
And when the Eldritch figured out there was no way for them to return back home, and decided to take over our world instead and turn it to their new world, the world has no choice but to run to it as its only source of salvation..." Captain Aliea said as the holographic image appeared...
The image of fallen structures, and raging flames while strange abominable creatures wandered the streets, among the corpses of the humans that laid at the ground.
"The first war, often called the first fall, was a devastating war, rather reminded us of our helplessness against the Eldritch. A war where humans were flung away from the apex of the food chain and roughly so too..." Captain Aelia said and even though she kept a blank and tutoring-looking face, he could sense the hatred in her voice as she narrated the event.
"Thankfully, there was a small group which had been working on the idea of turning humans into superheroes using technology. That group is known as the Orcano group today.
Their then, small and useless idea then, became Humanity's only hope and they created the first Orcano Cybernetic transfusion. Empowering humans with the fusion of technology.
Though their first 100 tests were a failure and the test subjects all died. But their death helped figure things out, and after close to ten years of hiding away behind walls and intense research under the threat of, racial extermination, they finally created the first Cybernetic humans which was none other than their own base head himself who had risked hell and came back to tell the news. Such an act won over the heart of humanity and it went all out putting almost all of its resources in the hands of the group.
And since then, technologically enhanced humans have spread forth like the seas..."
