Chapter 368: Exisia Exodia
But even if the houses were simple, they did the job just fine. The Origin Units made use of their simple wooden beds and leaf mattresses to get some quality Z's in.
An act that brought about the dropping of countless Attribute Orbs!
With everything progressing in spectacular fashion, Cassius stayed hovering in the skies—an expanse of whiteness with a mass of blue centered around the Large Origin Courtyard. What looked to be a tiny yellow sun had also melded into the background, likely assisting in the growth of the Amber Trees and Tropica Vegetables.
Thirty minutes passed by in the blink of an eye.
*Ding!*
[Tier 3 'Origin Community Center' has finished being constructed!]
The Origin Community Center was roughly the size of all five Storagehouses combined. It had no second or third floors but possessed a very wide-open space. The space was decorated with various wooden architecture, with rows of wooden bleachers and wooden chairs sprinkled here and there.
Most noticeable of all were the wooden structures erected in a certain spot of the Community Center. These consisted of monkey bars, abstract cages, and other such playground/gym equipment.
"So now the Origin Units are going to be physically exercising?" Cassius questioned. "This Originverse truly is a very interesting place. Makes me curious to see just what they'll evolve into in the future. Perhaps they'll even become sentient…"
Whatever the case, that was something for the future him to involve himself with. Right now, he didn't even have the 1000 Unity required to upgrade the Origin Village to Tier 5, as purchasing the Origin Facility Blueprints and Units had basically drained him to zero.
"Around how long will I have to wait to amass 1000 Unity if solely relying on consuming the Tier 1 Unity Foods produced by the Origin Farmers—"
[A Month (Yggdrasil Time—which is what the time of the Originverse scales off of)]
Silence…
Sighing, Cassius said, "I suppose I'll have to work even harder in progressing my power, and hope that the next Origin Unit unlocks include 3★ Units that'll help me better gain Unity."
Deciding it was time to return to the outside world, Cassius conveyed his intent. His consciousness then zipped out of the Originverse, leaving it and its residents to eternally grind while he was away.
Cassius didn't open his eyes right away upon finding himself atop Angel Raijin's draconic head. He waited until they reached the Floating Island they were heading to—a massive landmass roughly the same size as the first one.
— Some Time Later —
"Mashter, we're here!" Yimin overflowed with excitement as she looked everywhere with a voracious glare. "Can we eat the birdies now!? Pwetty~ please!??"
"No."
Instantaneous rejection!
Shrinking Raijin and descending to the Floating Island, Cassius found himself approaching a wall much like the one from the previous Floating Island. However, contrary to then, he felt no sense of temporal disturbance after entering the city.
Safe.
Cassius's nerves relaxed as he and his little party strolled through the snow-white city. Angels were earthbound here, just like on the first island's city. Furthermore, they appeared to be of a different faction of Angels, as evident by the artificially inseminated horns sticking out of their heads.
"Look, it's a Noble Angel!"
"A lordship actually came to the City of Frigidaire!?"
"This is big news!"
Because of all the Angel Bloodlines he had stolen from the lower Arches, Cassius had brought himself some trouble. Everyone was staring at him as if he were some exotic animal from a different dimension.
Though, in a way, Eight-Winged Noble Angels really were of a higher plane of existence. They typically lived on Floating Islands located closer to the Personal Floating Palaces of the Arch-Angels. Rarely did they ever step foot on a lesser Floating Island.
It was this information that made the existence of an Exalted Marshal on one of the lower islands all the more unusual…
As Cassius made his way through the city while lost in thought, the appearance of an enchantingly beautiful female Angel stole the breaths of many. Crowded around her were hundreds of people fawning over her as if she were the only star in the night sky.
"You're so gorgeous, Exisia~!"
"How can one who came from nothing like you possibly have acquired such a graceful poise!? Are you actually a Goddess in disguise!?"
"Oh, my dear Exisia, roses are red, violets are blue, but none in the whole wide world are as busty as you~"
Some fans, more fervent than others, began shamelessly professing their love to the indifferent Angel woman. A few even went as far as to grovel, begging her to accept their love.
Ignoring them all, Exisia's dark golden eyes fell on an Eight-Winged Angelic man possessing an otherworldly appearance. Curiosity swirled in her pupils as she stepped forward, with the crowd making way for her.
"My Goddess is moving! Get out of the way, you posers!"
"Hwa!? Who the hell you calling a poser, you bastard!??"
"I'm talking to you, Poser!"
Fights broke out among multiple fans, but Exisia treated them as if they didn't exist. She walked up to the angelic man strolling through the street without having once looked her way.
"You," she greeted as soon as she was within a few meters of him.
"Hurm?" Cassius turned his head to the left, wondering who had sparked up a conversation with him. "Oh, it's yo… Wait, who are you?"
{[Exisia Exodia]}
[Race: Royal-Angel]
[Cultivation: EX++]
[Battle Power: EX++++]
[Age: 85]
[Mood: Attracted]
— [Although she's the most talented among Arch-Angel Michael's children, she decided when very young that she didn't want all her efforts to be attributed to her blood relations with her father. Discarding everything and starting with nothing, she ascended the ranks and made a name for herself as a famous Demon-Slayer in the Pits of Tartarus.]
A kid of Arch-Angel Michael!?
'She might be able to help me find out where Memphis is,' Cassius thought. 'And what might the Pits of Tartarus be? It sounds like the stomach of a mighty beast, but I doubt that's the case given the context.'
