Chapter 032: Why Are You So Eager to Die? 

The chestnut-haired girl with twin tails had turned pale.

She had forgotten. She completely forgot that the check-out process for Room 307 required the Room 307 key card.

He watched them, his right hand slowly applying pressure to the card.

Lin Ye still showed no reaction.

"Three…"

Lin Ye let out a soft sigh.

"Sighing? Have you come to your senses?"

"Break it."

Kuroda Hikaru silently accepted it.

Only Hoshino Ai seemed to know what was going on.

"I'll do it. I'll really do it," Taisuke said.

"Go ahead."

Seeing Lin Ye remain completely indifferent, Taisuke applied force. With a loud snap, the key card broke in two.

"Kuroda-san, you mean absolutely nothing to Lin Ye! You'll stay here with me forever now."

"Even if I die, I'd never stay with you. Keep dreaming."

Hoshino Ai held Kuroda Hikaru close, gently patting her back to soothe her.

"What a shame, Lin Ye. You didn't even react. I guess your own life and freedom are more important after all. But let me share some good news I never said I'd let you go either! I was hoping to see that look of despair when you realized you'd been tricked. It's too bad I didn't manage to deceive you."

"You'll get yourself killed for this," Lin Ye replied.

"Flattered, flattered," Taisuke said, grinning.

"Go ahead and try. Kill me! I'm right here. Come on, kill me!"

Lin Ye shook his head and said, "This is the first time I've ever seen a monster beg to be killed."

Taisuke's grin grew wider.

But to his surprise, Lin Ye turned and walked straight to the front desk.

What was Lin Ye planning? Was he going to ask the front desk clerk for help? What a joke! Was he insane? There was no way the front desk would help Lin Ye they were on his side!

"Excuse me, Front Desk Miss, I'd like to report something."

The woman in the black suit, who had been quietly sitting at the front desk, slowly raised her gaze and met his eyes. Calmly, she asked,

"What's the matter?"

"I'd like to report that he deliberately destroyed a key card."

"What?"

Taisuke froze.

"Damaging a cleaner's key card. He stole and destroyed a cleaner's key card a severe offense. Please punish him immediately."

In an instant, Taisuke looked down at the key card in his hand.

The words "For Cleaning Staff Only" printed boldly on it made his eyes widen.

The woman at the front desk, wearing high heels, stepped forward slowly toward Taisuke.

Taisuke began to retreat, panic spreading across his face.

"We… we're on the same side!"

But the woman continued to approach him step by step.

"You… you can't do this… If you do this, you'll be violating its rules…"

"It… it won't let you go,"

"No wonder it… said something was wrong with you!"

"AAAAAAH!"

"AAAAAAARGH!"

Taisuke is screams echoed.

His true form was revealed ugly patches of black and gray covered his skin. He retaliated, but he was no match for the front desk woman.

Under his howls, Taisuke fell to the ground, his body mangled and bloodied, black-red liquid flowing from his wounds. His body convulsed as he was relentlessly beaten.

Hoshino Ai and Kuroda Hikaru stood there, stunned. They never imagined such a method existed.

But… it felt amazing!

Watching Taisuke being brutally beaten gave the two girls a sense of intense satisfaction. They even wanted to jump in and give him a few kicks themselves.

"The key card."

Lin Ye handed the Room 307 key card to Kuroda Hikaru.

"Lin Ye… Senpai…"

She didn't fully understand what had happened but felt overwhelmed with gratitude.

"Let's go!"

But suddenly, the bloodied Taisuke burst into laughter.

"Good… very good,"

He had risen to his feet and now blocked their path to the self-service machine. Meanwhile, the front desk woman stood frozen in place.

Sigh.

Lin Ye sighed again.

"Why are you… so eager to die?"

Taisuke: ???

What does he mean by eager to die?

Taisuke immediately realized that Lin Ye had figured out the hotel's rules!
