In the Apocalypse World Becoming a Naruto Card God

Chapter 125: Chapter 124: The Story of Lilyana Creater 2

Every day, food was placed in front of my room door. No one dared to enter my silent room, not even the servants who had begun to act coldly.

Why? Because I am a child who is no longer considered? A child who is no longer hoped for? I tried, I have fought! But it was all in vain.

Disappointment and anger always ensnared me, poisoning my mind. I began to feel that there was no point in living if no one cared about me.

One day, I decided to stop eating. I wanted to see if, by refusing food, they would worry? Would they finally care?

Two days passed. I only drank water, waiting for their reaction. However, what I found was only a deeper darkness.

When my body could no longer hold on and I fainted from hunger, only one servant found me, only one servant called the doctor. Even then, not a single member of my family came to check on me.

That was when I truly understood something frightening: no one cared anymore.

Not just family, even the servants who served me did so only because they had to, not because they wanted to.

I was a neglected child, a hated child, just a name in the Creater family that no longer held meaning in my name.

When I was no longer cared for by the Family, I began to try not to care about them. I no longer wanted to have a relationship with them; I just stayed there because I had no choice.

I had made a decision. One day, I would leave this house... a house that once was a shelter but now had become a prison filled with bitter memories.

I would leave as soon as I felt strong enough to live on my own. There would be no more pleas for mercy from the Creater Family who had abandoned me.

I was determined to show that I could survive without them, that I was more than just a failure in their eyes.

From that moment on, I began planning to leave this house. Every day I spent preparing myself, digging for knowledge and skills that would one day help me when I left this place.

In my silent room, I began to train this weak body. I forced myself to do push-ups, even though every movement was a painful struggle.

My body, unaccustomed to physical exercise, writhed in refusal, but I kept pushing myself. Every day, I tried a little harder... push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, squat jumps... I did it all with one goal: to become strong.

I knew my body wouldn't be enough. I also needed knowledge. I began asking the servants to bring me books... They might not like me, but they still catered to my needs.

I learned everything I could learn. I learned to sew, cook, wash clothes, and wash dishes, all from books. I even tried to learn to fight, following the instructions I read in the hope that one day, I would be able to protect myself.

However, learning without a teacher was not easy. I often injured myself... fingers pricked by needles while sewing, wrists and ankles sprained while practicing fighting.

The pain was real, but it was a price I was willing to pay. Every wound became a reminder that I was on a journey toward a free life. I had to endure, I had to become better.

Then came the moment I had been waiting for. My family enrolled me in the Fortress City Academy. This was my chance to prove myself, a chance to show that I was more than just a failed child.

Asyla also enrolled there, and although I knew we would be in the same place, my determination did not waver. At the academy, I would do whatever I needed to survive.

However, reality slapped me hard again. When the hand-to-hand combat training was held, it was a fight without the abilities of Anomalies or Abnormals.
