Tsuyu Asui's gaze kept lingering on the empty seat at the far end of the class, the image of the familiar boy seemed to continuously pass through her mind.

And she wasn't the only one.

About 70% of the class received help from Kurokai during the incident.

"So what brings you here? Giran?", Shigaraki didn't look towards the middle-aged man with a shady smile on his face as he kept tapping on the bar table.

Shigaraki's thoughts seem to be focused on something else.

But calling him a person wouldn't be right.

It was a robot with a green orb-like thing for eyes, half of his body seemed to be wood and the other seemed to be metal, it wore a black costume and its metallic glow seemed to give the figure a futuristic glow.

If it was any other world then the robot's appearance might have aroused suspicion, but this was MHA world, there were weird quirks everywhere and people with inexplicable appearances were even more common.

"Hm So who are you?", Shigaraki turned towards the new guest and asked.

He suddenly became interested.

"Okay, I'll be taking my leave then, make sure to pay commission, bye.", With that Giran quickly left the place, leaving them alone.

Then the two pairs of eyes quickly focused back on the robot.

"My name is Mechamaru."

Listening to the hoarse voice, Shigaraki narrowed his eyes in interest.

"So what's your power?"

Instead of replying, Mechamaru raised his hand making a blame burst out.

Shigaraki smiled seeing the scene.

"....And why do you want to join us?"

Instead of replying, Mechamaru stared deep into Shigaraki's eyes.

A solemn atmosphere enveloped the place.

Perhaps feeling that something was wrong Kurogiri who was standing as a bartender on the side started using his shadow.

Then the silence was broken.

"Actually....."

Mechamaru continued in a serious voice.

"I'm a fan."

"Huh?"

Shigaraki's mind stopped working for a moment.

It took him a moment to comprehend Mechamaru's words.

Then he pointed at Mechamaru then at himself and repeated.

"Yes yes, A big fan!"

The hoarse voice and the heavy atmosphere suddenly disappeared with Mechamaru's childish tone.

Shigaraki was dumbfounded.

"I saw your fight with All Might...", Mechamaru started explaining.

"It was pretty cool how you managed to beat All Might to that state."

There was a hint of admiration in Mechamaru's tone.

"O-Oh I-I did?"

"Yes absolutely!", Mechamaru roared in an excited voice, startling Shigaraki.

"Think about it! That was All Might! The strongest Hero! And you almost managed to defeat him!"

Shigaraki: "Y-yes?Yes??"

Mechamaru: "Yes!"

Shigaraki: "Yes?"

Mechamaru: "Yes!!"

Shigaraki: "Yes!!!"

Shigaraki slammed the wooden table excitedly and pointed at Mechamaru before saying.

"Fine. You're hired, newbie!"

Kurogiri was dumbfounded by the scene.

Kurokai Sento's home.

"Son, are you feeling alright? If not then I can ask UA for a longer leave....", Hikari Sento asked in a worried voice while looking at her Kurokai who was sitting on the bed playing with some mechanical construct.

"I am alright mother."

"Don't push yourself....."

Hikari stopped pestering Kurokai and left his room, in fact, she knew her son recovered right after the incident, he even started playing with some machinery he brought into his room.

Although she wanted to ask where he got the money for it, but remembering his terrible condition from that day made her hesitate.

'Was it the right decision? To join UA?.....'

Hikari Sento left with doubts in her mind.

And inside the room, Kurokai was excitedly tinkering with the machine in his hand.

A week ago, right after the incident

It wasn't him who found Girna, instead, it was Giran who found him.....after he successfully robbed the 8th atm machine....
