Chapter 23: The Fall of Silvermane

The moon hung high over the city as Tyr crouched on a rooftop overlooking the warehouse. His black costume blended seamlessly into the shadows, and his violet eyes narrowed behind the mask as he studied the structure below. He had tracked Silvermane's operations here, a sprawling complex bustling with guards and activity. This was the heart of the mob boss's empire—and tonight, Tyr would tear it apart.

Silvermane had been a challenge, more machine than man, but Tyr wasn't the same person who had barely escaped their last encounter. His injuries had healed, his mind had sharpened, and his body was ready. He had spent sleepless nights planning this attack, crafting the perfect weapon to end Silvermane once and for all.

He would strike from the shadows, a predator in the dark.

|A.N.: I was lying about him not being a Batman wannabe|

Tyr reached into his belt and activated the drone he had prepared. The small device hummed to life and zipped toward the warehouse, its EMP core ready to disable the entire structure's power grid.

The lights in the warehouse flickered once, twice, and then plunged into total darkness. Tyr smirked as the shouts of confused guards reached his ears.

It had begun.

He leapt from the rooftop, his boots activating to cushion his landing as he hit the ground silently.

Inside, the guards scrambled to restore order.

"Where's the backup generator?!" one of them yelled.

"It's not responding!" another replied, his flashlight shaking as he scanned the shadows.

Tyr crept through the darkened corridors, his Force Sense guiding him like a compass. He felt the fear radiating from the guards, their panic growing with every second.

The first guard didn't see him coming. Tyr struck from behind, a swift blow to the neck rendering the man unconscious before he could shout. Tyr dragged the body into a corner and disappeared again, leaving only silence in his wake.

The next two guards were clustered together, their flashlights sweeping nervously across the walls. Tyr waited until they turned their backs before moving, silent as a ghost. He knocked the first one out with a strike to the back of the head and used telekinesis to pull the second man's weapon away before taking him down with a precise kick.

"Stay together!" one of the lieutenants barked as he gathered a group of men. "He's here somewhere!"

The guards formed a tight circle, their flashlights illuminating the space around them. Tyr watched from above, perched on a steel beam. He could feel their fear like a pulse in the air.

He dropped silently behind the last man in the group and struck with surgical precision, knocking him out and retreating into the shadows before anyone noticed.

"Where's Frank?!" one of the guards yelled, spinning around.

"I don't know! He was right behind me!"

Smoke bombs rolled into the group's midst, erupting in clouds of thick, choking gas. The guards coughed and stumbled, their flashlights useless in the haze.

Tyr moved quickly, taking them down one by one. A strike to the ribs, a sweep of the legs, a telekinetic shove into a wall. By the time the smoke cleared, the group lay unconscious on the floor.

"Where is he?!" a panicked voice cried.

Tyr stepped out of the shadows, his violet eyes glowing faintly in the dark.

"Right here," he said.

The man dropped his flashlight and ran, his terrified screams echoing through the halls.

Tyr smirked. The guards were dealt with. Now, only one target remained.

Silvermane.

The central chamber of the warehouse was cavernous, the only light coming from the faint glow of Silvermane's cybernetic body. He stood tall in the center of the room, his red eyes scanning the darkness.

"Black Wolf," Silvermane growled, his voice distorted and metallic. "You think you've won, don't you?"

Tyr stepped into the faint light, his steel blade gleaming in his hand. "I think it's time to put you down, Silvermane."

The cyborg laughed, a harsh, mechanical sound. "Do you really think you can kill me? I am more than flesh. I am the future!"

Silvermane charged, his heavy steps shaking the ground. Tyr darted to the side, his boots propelling him upward onto a stack of crates. Silvermane smashed through the crates with a single swing of his massive arm, sending debris flying.

Tyr leapt onto a steel beam above, using his Force Sense to track Silvermane's movements. The cyborg's sheer strength was terrifying, but his bulk made him slow and predictable.

"You can't hide forever!" Silvermane roared, tearing through the warehouse in search of his prey.

Tyr dropped down behind him, striking at one of the cyborg's exposed joints. Sparks flew as his blade connected, but the damage was minimal. Silvermane spun around with surprising speed, his mechanical arm slamming into Tyr and sending him crashing into a wall.

Pain shot through Tyr's body, but he forced himself to his feet. "Is that all you've got?" he taunted, his voice steady despite the ache in his ribs.

Silvermane lunged again, his glowing eyes narrowing. Tyr activated his boots, propelling himself over the cyborg's head and landing behind him. He slashed at another joint, this time severing a few wires.

Silvermane stumbled, sparks erupting from his arm. "You little—!"

Tyr didn't let him finish. He reached into his belt and activated the EMP device, its core glowing faintly.

"What... is that?" Silvermane demanded, his voice crackling as his systems struggled against the electromagnetic interference.

Tyr smirked. "Something I built just for you. Hope you like it."

He hurled the device at Silvermane, and it latched onto the cyborg's chest with a magnetic clamp.

The EMP discharged with a sudden pulse of energy, rippling through Silvermane's body. His limbs seized up, his red eyes flickering wildly.

"You... can't... stop me!" Silvermane growled, his voice distorted.

Tyr approached calmly, his blade raised. "Machines don't get second chances."

With a single, precise strike, he drove the blade into Silvermane's power core. The cyborg's body collapsed with a heavy thud, his glowing eyes dimming to darkness.

Tyr stood over the lifeless form, his breaths heavy but controlled. The fight was over.

"Good riddance," he muttered, retrieving the remains of the EMP device.

As he stepped out into the cool night air, Tyr allowed himself a moment of satisfaction. Silvermane was gone, and the Black Wolf had claimed another victory.
