Chapter 19: Chapter 15:

Chapter 15:

Thor and Loki stood before Odin in the grand throne room of Asgard. The atmosphere was tense, the air thick with unspoken disappointment.

Odin: "Thor Odinson and Loki Odinson, both of you shall be stripped of your royal status and banished from the realm of Asgard for your actions. Until you prove yourselves worthy again, neither of you shall return. You will live as mortals."

Thor's eyes widened in shock.

Thor: "Father, please! I am sorry! I will never act recklessly again. Please forgive us!"

His voice cracked with desperation as he pleaded on his knees.

Loki: "Father, I apologize as well. Give us one more chance to make things right."

Odin's gaze hardened.

Odin: "Silence."

With a wave of his hand, Thor and Loki vanished, exiled from their home.

Frigg, standing beside Odin, placed a gentle hand on his arm.

Frigg: "Dear, was it truly necessary to banish them like this?"

Odin sighed, his expression softening for a brief moment.

Odin: "My love, they must face challenges to grow. Only then will they understand the weight of their responsibilities."

Frigg nodded, though her eyes reflected sadness.

Later, Odin sat in his chamber, sipping tea as he contemplated his decision. A knock at the door broke his thoughts.

Odin: "Come in."

Kael and Hela entered, taking seats as Odin gestured for them to do so.

Odin: "I won't beat around the bush. Hela, do you wish to be the King of Asgard?"

Hela's expression remained impassive, betraying no surprise at the question.

Odin: "Well? Do you want to take on the role tomorrow or later?"

For the first time, Hela hesitated.

Hela: "Father, I do want to be the God King of Asgard. But not yet. I just got married, and I want to enjoy my life with Kael for a while."

Odin stroked his beard thoughtfully.

Odin: "Fair point. So, when do you intend to take on this responsibility?"

Hela: "Let's say five years."

Odin frowned, shaking his head.

Odin: "I don't have that much time."

Hela: "Yes, you do."

Silence filled the room as Odin contemplated her words.

Odin: "Two years. That's all I can give you. After that, you will become the God King of Asgard. I'd like to enjoy my life as a retired father before the end."

Hela: "Agreed."

Kael leaned forward, his brows furrowed.

Kael: "What's going on, Hela? You've always wanted this. Why the sudden delay?"

Hela's eyes softened as she gazed at Kael.

Hela: "Kael, becoming the God King isn't just a title. It's a responsibility that comes with endless duties. I don't want to lose these moments with you. I just want to be your wife right now. Or do you not want me to?"

She sent him a playful glare, her lips curling into a mischievous smile.

Kael chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender.

Kael: "No, no, you're right. I'm not arguing."

Odin laughed heartily.

Odin: "Kael, may you and my daughter find joy and strength in each other. Your union is a blessing to Asgard."

After some more lighthearted conversation, Kael and Hela retired to their chambers.

Back in their room, Kael closed the door behind them, locking out the rest of the world. Hela leaned against him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Hela: "You handled yourself well today."

Kael smirked, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

Kael: "You think so?"

Hela leaned closer, her lips brushing his ear.

Hela: "Mmm, very much so. And I think you deserve a reward."

Their lips met, slow and passionate, as if savoring every second. Kael pulled her closer, his hands trailing down her back, feeling the soft curves beneath her dress. Hela's hands slid under his shirt, her touch sending shivers down his spine.

They stumbled toward the bed, never breaking the kiss. Kael lifted Hela effortlessly, laying her down gently. She gazed up at him, her emerald eyes glowing with desire.

Hela: "You're mine now, Kael."

Kael: "Always."

Their clothes fell away piece by piece, forgotten in the heat of the moment. Kael traced kisses along her neck, down to her collarbone, eliciting soft sighs from Hela. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer.

The world outside ceased to exist. Time slowed as they explored each other, every touch igniting a fire between them. Hela arched beneath him, her body responding to every movement.

Their connection was more than physical—it was a merging of souls. Kael marveled at the goddess beneath him, her strength and vulnerability laid bare.

Kael: "I love you, Hela."

Her eyes softened, a rare vulnerability shining through.

Hela: "And I love you."

They moved together in perfect harmony, their bond growing stronger with every heartbeat. As dawn approached, they lay entwined, Hela resting her head on Kael's chest.

Kael gently ran his fingers through her hair, watching her sleep peacefully. She looked so serene, so unlike the fierce goddess the world knew her to be.

A soft chime echoed in his mind, pulling him from his thoughts.

Kael (mentally): "System."

System: Ding! How may I help you?

Kael: "Show me the notifications."

System: Ding!

Kael's eyes widened.

Kael: "What the fuck do you mean by that? And where are the rewards for those?"

Kael: "Nice. Can you get me the recipe for Soul-Strengthening Ice Cream?"

System: Currently not possible. The host must complete five mainline missions to unlock the upgrade function.

Kael: "I already did one with Hela becoming the Goddess of Life."

System: Yes, but four more are required.

Kael: "Fine. Give me the missions."

System: The host must move to a new location to unlock more mainline missions.

Kael sighed.

Kael: "So I won't get any more missions if I stay in Asgard?"

System: Affirmative.

Lost in thought, Kael glanced down to see Hela stirring. She blinked up at him, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red as her gaze landed on his crotch.

Hela: "Good morning, dear."

Her eyes sparkled mischievously as she noticed the tent in the sheets.

Kael grinned.

Kael: "Good morning, love."

Hela's blush deepened.

Hela: "Shall we play a little more?"

Kael chuckled as he pulled her close.

Kael: "As you wish, my queen."
