In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 54: Chapter 54: Gaal: The Gengar Legion! Move Out!

Gengar nodded and walked over to stand in front of the skeleton soldier.

Raising its small purple hands, it placed them on the skeleton's bones and "whoosh"—Gengar transformed into a purple stream of light, merging into the skeleton's body.

The next second, the skeleton soldier, while not visibly changed, moved its mouth as if trying to make a sound, but no sound came out.

Then it raised its hand to look at it, then jumped a bit and shrugged towards Gaal, seemingly indicating that this body was too weak.

Gaal nodded, looking at the skeleton soldier, and then activated his telekinesis.

Crack, crack, crack—

The bones of the skeleton soldier fractured into pieces until it was all reduced to shards lying on the ground. Gengar was suddenly squeezed out from the pile of bone fragments, landing on the nearby ground while looking at Gaal in confusion.

Gaal looked at Gengar and said, "Try it out. Can you restore it?"

Gengar nodded and then looked at the pile of bones on the ground, preparing to restore them, but...hm...Gengar suddenly fell silent, saying, "Geh?"

How on earth do I restore this?

Use telekinesis?

Looking at the pile of bone scraps on the ground, Gengar suddenly felt a bit lost, as no one had taught it how to do this...

However, Gaal was observing from the side.

Gengar pretended to think seriously for a moment, then activated its telekinesis. The bones on the ground clattered together, and soon a skeleton soldier reassembled. Gengar nodded with satisfaction, grinning at Gaal, as if waiting for a compliment.

Gaal's mouth twitched, unable to help but facepalm.

The skeleton soldier, which was originally over six feet tall, shrank to under four and started to spread horizontally instead.

The bones were filled with cracks, clearly just gathered together by Gengar's telekinesis, lacking any actual restoration.

Gaal's telekinesis swept over it, dispelling Gengar's power.

The skeleton soldier that had just reassembled scatter again on the ground.

After some thought, Gaal split a portion of the soul fire in his hand and infused it into Gengar's body.

Gengar scratched its head, feeling like something had been added to its mind.

Instinctively, it raised its hand towards the skeleton on the ground. This time, the skeleton was not just reassembled by telekinesis, but rather the power of the soul fire, utilizing Gengar as a vessel allowed the bones to reconstruct while the fractures were continuously healed.

However, the soul fire within Gengar weakened significantly, leaving it with a sense of hunger.

Gengar stepped forward again, and this time the green soul fire reignited in the sockets of the skeleton soldier's eyes.

Gaal nodded thoughtfully.

The skeletons created by the Necromantic Transformation Array still needed soul fire.

However, thanks to Gengar's existence, the soul fire could be divided into several parts. By extracting one part and merging it into Gengar's body, Gengar would acquire the ability of soul fire, allowing it to control the skeletons in place of the soul fire.

As long as Gengar didn't die, the skeletons it controlled would possess unlimited restoration capabilities.

The advantage was that while originally souls fire was needed, now it required Gengar's stamina instead.

With that, all that remained was to transform all the giant dragon bones from the Dragon's Grave into Undead Bone Dragons.

By then, a group of Gengar could replace the soul fire, fusing into the bodies of Undead Bone Dragons to control them.

Otherwise, the amount of soul fire needed to control the Undead Bone Dragons would be a huge hassle; just the little bit Gaal had in hand would probably make it difficult for the Undead Bone Dragon to lift even a paw.

Gaal signaled for Gengar to come out, looking at the pile of dark attribute materials stacked like a small mountain nearby.

He smashed the skeleton soldier in front of him and extracted all the bones from the pile of materials, placing them in front of him. Then he activated the Necromantic Transformation Array he had just learned from "Arc of Embodiment."

As the pile of bones transformed into pure energy that surged into the dark purple transformation array, soon four nearly four-meter high Bone Dragons crawled out, standing in a line in the basement, nearly piercing through the ceiling.

Then there were eight two-meter ones, and twenty-four one-meter small Bone Dragons.

Of course, while they were called Bone Dragons, they merely had the appearance since no dragon attribute materials were added and thus bore no dragon might.

Gaal selected some dark attribute metals from the material pile, then took out three Gengar mega evolution stones and three Galar particles.

He activated the alchemy array in front of him, and all the materials transformed into liquid, flowing and merging.

After a moment, a small demonic black trident was forged.

Gaal handed it to Gengar and said, "Give it a try."

Gengar took the black trident, instantly widening its eyes:

"Geh?"

"Geh geh geh geh (What is this?!)?!!!"

Gengar waved the trident, staring incredulously at the item.

It could feel an endless stream of energy contained within.

Even if it needed to be in mega evolution or Gigantamax state, it could still unleash attacks holding this thing.

Seeing this, Gaal smiled and said, "This will be your exclusive weapon. From now on, you will be the leader of the Gengar Legion."

Gengar's eyes sparkled with excitement, "Geh geh (Legion)?"

Gaal nodded, then his consciousness entered the system exchange space and into the exchange market.

A portion of the accumulated origin points flowed away like water.

In exchange, a total of fifteen Gengars of varying sizes began to materialize before him.

Next came the downgraded Haunters, totaling around thirty to forty, followed by nearly a hundred of the base form Gastlys.

These Gastlys, Haunters, and Gengars all had a hint of confusion in their eyes.

However, there was still some basic knowledge in their minds, and due to their mischievous nature, they quickly became energetic, playing together as a group.

Gaal gave Gengar a knowing glance.

Gengar nodded, stepped forward, and pretended to clear its throat.

....

....

....

No one paid it any mind.

Gengar's face turned red, thrusting the trident to the ground, unleashing a powerful telekinesis wave.

All the rambunctious Gastlys, Haunters, and rebellious Gengar instantly fell silent, staring at it with wide eyes.

Gengar nodded in satisfaction, stomping with the trident in its left hand while pointing forward with its right:

"Geh geh geh! (I'm your boss) Geh geh! (You must listen to me from now on!)"

Under Gengar's overwhelming telekinesis, all the Gastlys, Haunters, and the ten-odd Gengar obediently shouted in unison:

"Geh (Boss)!"

Gengar nodded contentedly, looking at Gaal.

Gaal then split the soul fire in his hand into several portions and infused them into those small Bone Dragons.

He then instructed Gengar, "From now on, take them into the mountains west of Magnolia Town for training. The four-meter Bone Dragon is for you all to train on. The two-meter ones should have Gastly possess, and let the one-meter ones be handled by the Gastlys. If the bones break, just use the trident to unleash energy restoration."

The trident of Gengar contained the energy of three Galar particles.

It would be enough for Gengar to restore these small Bone Dragons thousands upon thousands of times.

Gaal then raised his hand and tapped Gengar's forehead.

Immediately, Gengar's mind was filled with images from its past life—giant dragons, Bone Dragons, and many imaginative battle scenes featuring dragons:

"Train them this way first, get familiar with Bone Dragon combat styles. Later on, you will control the larger Bone Dragons to play."

Gengar patted its chest to signal, "Geh (No problem)!"

Gaal smiled and nodded, then said, "Alright, take them and leave now. Find a base in the forest to the west."

Gengar nodded, opening its mouth wide aimed at the several small Bone Dragons, sucking them all into its stomach, leaving the other Gengar in the basement looking on with admiration.

Gengar turned to its group of adoring little brothers, holding the trident in its left hand, pointing upwards with its right:

"Geh geh geh geh (Gengar Legion)! Geh geh (Let's go)!"

With that, it took the lead and flew upward.

The other Gengars, Haunters, and Gastlys echoed in response:

"Geh (Yes)!!"

One by one, they transformed into black streams of light, shooting upward, piercing through the basement and flying out through the roof, heading deep into the forest west of Magnolia Town.

Fortunately, it was nighttime and the surroundings were dark, making it hard to see anything.

Otherwise, a mass of ghostly Pokémon would have scared the residents surrounding Gaal's home, even though they had become accustomed to the presence of a Gengar.

One Gengar and a horde were not the same concept...
