In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 21: Gildarts: Despicable!!!

Gildarts didn't have time to defend himself and raised his arm to block.

Boom!

A loud sound resonated.

Then, the Gigantamax Alolan Ninetales was smashed straight to the ground, and Gildarts was sent crashing toward the ground at an angle under the combined impact of its nine tails.

The earth shook and trembled as the Gigantamax Alolan Ninetales created a huge crater upon impact.

Afterward, it radiated an ice-blue light and transformed into a streak of light, automatically returning to Gaal's waist, into his Poké Ball.

On the other side.

Gildarts' legs sank deep into the ground, surrounded by a silver-white magic circle that began to glow.

A point of crimson light flickered first, followed by a brilliant flash.

The scorching aura and light seemed to rise from the ground like a sun.

Gildarts' voice echoed from within the crimson sun:

"Comprehensive Disintegration!"

As the voice sounded, Gildarts' magic surged forth.

The ground within a thousand meters shattered into tiny particles in an instant.

Gaal's figure flickered as he moved away from the area.

The rising blazing sun was decomposed and dissipated.

Boom!

A tremendous sound erupted.

In the next moment, Gildarts appeared just a few hundred meters in front of Gaal.

Unlike Gaal's usage of Space Magic for transfer, Gildarts' speed in appearing before him was hardly slower than that of Space Magic. Gaal looked at the Gildarts who was so close and sighed:

"Using just physical capabilities to catch up, huh."

Gildarts raised his hand toward Gaal, a smirk on his lips:

"Battles aren't just about magic, you know."

"Gaal."

The magic in Gildarts' palm exploded forth, striking toward Gaal.

A magic circle appeared in front of Gaal, clashing with Gildarts' palm.

Buzz—

The area where they made contact warped slightly.

Gildarts looked a bit shocked:

"What is this…"

Gildarts immediately narrowed his eyes, unleashing his magic vigorously.

Boom!!!

Endless light erupted.

Even from a great distance atop a mountain, Gray could feel the overwhelming magic coming from there.

He shifted his gaze away from the ice telescope towards the distance and saw the white light expand and burst at the point of their collision.

Everything around them was visibly breaking down.

In just a moment.

Everything within a radius of several thousand meters around their point of collision had been decomposed, leaving behind an immense crater.

Even the nearby mountains made of rocks were decomposed down to half.

Gray swallowed hard.

No wonder he was sent so far away; if he were watching from up close, he would probably be gone by now.

The light at the center of the battle gradually faded away.

Within the giant crater, Gaal and Gildarts stood on opposite sides, staring each other down.

Both had been decomposed into countless little figures.

However, compared to Gildarts' figures, Gaal's were shattered into smaller pieces, only about one-fifth the size of Gildarts' figures.

Gildarts' figures almost simultaneously spoke:

"Hey, hey, hey… This is a bit ridiculous."

That ordinary magic could be learned easily was one thing, but could he easily learn such superior magic?

He looked down at his own body.

Although it was quite a bit larger than Gaal's, it was evident that Gaal's mastery of Disintegration Magic was no joke, even shattering him into this state.

After all, he had trained in Disintegration Magic for over thirty years.

To be attacked with his own Disintegration Magic and successfully shattered into several pieces.

Though it was undoubtedly due to being caught off guard.

But Gildarts took it seriously; after all, this feeling was not pleasant at all.

His gaze was dangerously fixed on Gaal:

"I need to teach you a good lesson."

The broken-down Gaal figures looked at the seemingly giant Gildarts figures across from them and raised their hands simultaneously:

"Disintegration Ray."

"Ice Beam."

"Gravity Reversal."

"Raging Flame."

"Tenfold Gravity…"

Colorful magical beams struck towards Gildarts' side.

Countless Gaal figures lifted their hands, each casting a different spell.

Yet Gildarts' figures did not evade the incoming spells.

One by one, they unleashed their Disintegration Magic, charging steadfastly towards Gaal's side.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The bottom of the enormous pit erupted with the remnants of the battle.

On average, three to four Gaal figures were besieging one Gildarts figure.

The mixed magical combinations struck in various ways; some Gildarts figures were left in disarray, while others dealt with the onslaught with ease.

The effectiveness of the combinations clearly varied.

Gaal was rapidly calculating the optimal magical combination, while Gildarts was simply enjoying the combat.

After being decomposed into countless tiny figures, they felt like they had multiplied.

In a moment, the thrill of battle seemed to reach its peak, and excitement built up.

The scope of the battle gradually expanded.

From Gray's viewpoint, the giant crater was blooming everywhere, with magic flying wildly.

From time to time, shrunk Gaal or Gildarts figures would be thrown up by explosions.

As the decomposed little figures gradually vanished with the battle, the two combatants' sizes began to increase again.

Half an hour later.

Within the enormous pit.

Gaal was supporting himself on his legs, appearing somewhat disheveled, breathing heavily.

Across from him, Gildarts was in a better state but still appeared much more ragged than Gaal.

After all, Gildarts relied on physical abilities and Disintegration Magic while Gaal called upon all sorts of spells; regarding disheveledness, Gildarts was clearly more affected.

However, Gildarts' condition was still significantly better.

At the moment, aside from his own telekinesis, Gaal's magic was truly running low.

Yet, the threat from Gildarts across from him was clear.

This guy still had quite a bit of magic stored up.

After catching his breath for a moment, Gildarts looked at Gaal:

"Want some more?"

Gaal sensed his magic, straightened up, and looked at Gildarts:

"Let's settle it with one final move."

Gildarts raised an eyebrow, a smirk creeping onto his face:

"Oh? You're out of magic, aren't you? Still want to settle it with one final move."

Gaal smiled and said:

"Battles aren't just about magic, you know."

What Gildarts had just said was now echoed in Gaal's words.

Gildarts regarded the confident Gaal and couldn't help but nod:

"You little brat. Then I'll see how you plan to settle this with one final move."

As his words fell, the aura around both of them surged, their robes fluttering under the influence of magic.

Raising their right arms, both activated their corresponding magic.

Swoosh!

Gildarts vanished from his spot.

"Disintegration!"

"Disintegration!"

The two voices rang out simultaneously.

Gaal, under the impact from Gildarts, was pressed down and sent flying.

The intertwined Disintegration Magic stemming from a common source eroded and pushed back towards Gaal's side.

Sensing Gaal's continuous retreat under the pressure of the Disintegration Magic, Gildarts coldly remarked:

"The outcome is already decided, kid."

Gaal instead smirked, speaking up:

"You still don't know, do you? Your… romantic debts have made their way to the Guild."

Gildarts' mouth twitched slightly, unfazed:

"Ugh... What's it to me? Just a man…"

Gaal replied casually:

"She's a cute girl, you know? That's your… Daughter."

Gildarts was left stunned, his mind going blank:

"What?"

Boom!!!

Gaal unleashed his final burst of magic, seizing the moment while Gildarts was stunned, pushing back forcefully.

By the time Gildarts snapped back to reality, it was already too late:

"Despicable!!!"

He was directly decomposed into a mass of little Gildarts figures, but at that moment, Gildarts had already lost interest in the fight and immediately reverted to his original form, grabbing Gaal by the collar:

"Explain yourself, kid! What daughter? What's going on!!!"
