In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 12: The Dark Guild - The Tumultuous Second

Gray hesitated for a moment, unable to respond right away.

The potions on the table, along with Gaal and Gray.

Whoosh—

They vanished inside the train car.

---

Outside, amidst the thick snow-covered mountains.

Whoosh!

Gaal and Gray appeared at the edge of a cliff.

Gray felt a bit dizzy, shaking his head before looking straight ahead:

"What is this?"

There, in the snow-covered forest ahead, was a massive round building that came into view.

It resembled a fortress of war, with numerous large cannon tubes surrounding the top of the colossal structure.

Atop the building was a complex mechanical design that rotated like a clockwork mechanism.

Gaal raised his hand and waved it in front of him.

A row of pale golden, ethereal wanted posters appeared.

Gaal pointed to one of them.

The pale golden wanted poster enlarged to reveal a figure dressed like a doll, who didn't seem very tall but had feet that resembled oversized stilts made of thick steel needles.

"Dark Guild, The Tumultuous Second Guild Leader."

"Nizzu Bumes."

Then, Gaal gestured to the right.

Information about the members of the Dark Guild The Tumultuous Second transformed into pale golden wanted posters; however, the bounties were not high and didn't denote magic, indicating they were wanted just for their crimes.

Many members bore a symbol that looked identical to the guild's flag waving far off on the building.

Gray's eyes widened as he glanced at the wanted poster, then the distant flag, comparing them back and forth:

"A Dark Guild, huh?"

Gaal nodded and spoke:

"That's right."

"A small Dark Guild. I didn't expect it to be hidden here."

"Leader Nizzu Bumes, a C-Class Mage with explosive magic."

As he spoke, Gaal extended his mental energy toward the building in the distance.

Inside the gigantic structure, aside from the pulsating demon egg, the only strong presence was that of Nizzu Bumes; most others lacked magical energy, just having physical stats better than ordinary people, but one might wonder why such weaklings were even needed here.

Gaal said:

"They're hatching a demon egg."

"Only the leader has any combat power."

"The rest are just ordinary folks."

"Are you confident?"

Gray was taken aback, then turned to look at the massive building, gravely nodding his head, clenching his teeth:

"I want to give it a try."

Not only was he curious about the effectiveness of his training over these past few days, but more importantly, Brother Gaal mentioned that there was actually a demon egg inside.

Damn those guys!

No wonder a demon like Deliora showed up; perhaps it's because that Dark Guild conjured it.

Thinking of Deliora made Gray seethe with anger towards those dealing with demons.

Noticing Gray's expression, Gaal nodded:

"Your clothes."

Gray was taken aback, then looked down:

"Ah!"

"When did this happen!"

He didn't even remember taking off his clothes, quickly picking them up to put on.

Then, Gaal lifted his wand and pointed.

Whoosh!

The two instantly vanished from the edge of the cliff.

In the next moment, Gray found himself standing at the entrance of The Tumultuous Second Guild.

Seeing it up close was different from gazing at it from afar.

The towering stone walls and the guild, resembling a fortress, made Gray feel uncertain.

---

Inside The Tumultuous Second Guild.

Unlike the howling northern wind and snow outside, it was utterly silent in the center of the building.

All the members stood at the edge, obediently, not daring to move an inch.

The guild leader Nizzu Bumes, standing on stilts that looked like steel needles, gazed at the pulsing demon egg.

Beneath the demon egg stood a short-haired girl.

Though her magical power seemed weak, her hands were pointed at the egg, attempting to cast some kind of magic.

However, after a short moment, the girl exhausted her magic.

The demon egg pulsed slightly, which made Nizzu Bumes smile in satisfaction:

"Not bad. Just two more months. This demon egg will hatch."

Nizzu Bumes looked down at the weak Nano with great pleasure:

"You truly are a gift from the heavens, Nano. Being able to accelerate the flow of time for the area will allow a demon egg that needs ten years to hatch. It will succeed in just half a year. And now, you are all in my hands. What great luck this is; even the gods are helping me unite Ishgar!!! Hahahahaha!!!"

As Nizzu Bumes spoke, his demeanor became slightly deranged:

"I really don't know what those fools who caused such a ruckus were thinking. Such a powerful demon like Deliora, and they couldn't control it properly, breaking a few kingdoms. To be led by a bunch of stupid people into the snowy mountains. Such a waste.

If I had control over such a powerful demon, The Tumultuous Second would definitely become the strongest Dark Guild in Ishgar! But even without Deliora. Once this demon egg hatches, it doesn't make any difference. The continent of Ishgar will soon be mine."

Nizzu Bumes's tone was sinister, his eyes fixed on the demon egg, murmuring softly.

The malevolent aura he radiated sent chills among the guild members nearby.

However....

Gaal, who had appeared invisibly, twitched the corner of his mouth.

Though he knew the north was barren, he hadn't expected it to be this desolate.

So ambitious about uniting Ishgar... they really do have the guts.

Is this something a C-Class mage could actually think?

Flags like this can't just be raised so easily, can they?

However, looking at the guild members, all of whom seemed like regular people except for their leader, made it seem somewhat reasonable.

What could one expect from a Dark Guild led by a C-Class mage? How strong could it really be with members composed entirely of regular folks?

There weren't any real mages, merely fortunate ones.

Perhaps they found a little girl with a time magic talent and chanced upon a demon egg; maybe this Nizzu Bumes even randomly stumbled upon some demon-controlling magic.

It was a pity that he was so bold to speak of his ambitions aloud.

Gray had just let him out to the open...

Just as Gaal's thoughts settled.

Boom—

A loud bang echoed through the fortress-like building.

Nizzu Bumes was taken aback and turned to the guild's door:

"What happened?!"

"The Magic Council has broken in?!"

"Damn it!"

"Why now?!"

He glanced back at the pulsing demon egg and then at Nano, gritting his teeth:

"Hurry!"

"Get the demon egg and Nano out of here."

"Make sure there's no disturbance!"

"If even a little of that demon egg gets damaged, I will blow you all up!!!"

The surrounding subordinates felt a chill run down their spines and quickly acted.

Just then, someone rushed in from the entrance:

"Bad news! Leader!!!"

Nizzu Bumes's face darkened:

"What are you shouting for?!"

"I know, damn it.... Even in such a hidden place, we've been discovered by the Magic Council? Damn it, we were just short of...."

His subordinate quickly replied:

"No, leader. There's a little brat! That has come in!!!!"
