I'm Not Interested in Devil Fruits

Chapter 192: INIIDF-Chapter 189 Luffy

"Honestly, at first, I thought... the Snake Princess already knew your true identity."

"There aren't many people who know that Nico Robin is an Ohara scholar, and even fewer who know she can read ancient texts. There are also not many who understand ancient texts... As for those who know I'm a Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi) Ability user, it should just be a handful of Marines who saw me using my abilities that day by the shores of Ohara..."

"So when you were running around West Blue, there must have been quite a few people who saw you use your abilities, right?"

"..." Robin couldn't help but look at him. What does 'running around' even mean? She shook her head. "I never told anyone that it's the Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi)…"

"True..." Liam chuckled. "Nico Robin hasn't made a slip in such a long time. I wonder if the Marines are anxious?"

Robin secretly rolled her eyes. The reason Nico Robin disappeared and turned into empty Bar Jolyne was clearly his fault…

Speaking of which... Robin touched her own face. As Nico Robin grows up, Bar Jolyne's appearance will also need to change... It needs to change while still retaining some existing features for others to recognize her, while also distinguishing her from Nico Robin...

How to shape her face and make those subtle adjustments is something that needs careful consideration.

...

The two lay quietly for a while.

Liam propped himself up, curious. "What kind of secret talk did the Snake Princess have with you for half the day?"

"I thought you didn't have any curiosity," Robin replied, a hint of amusement in her eyes.

"I'm very curious!" Was Liam really that easy to tease? He lay back down. "Forget it, then."

"I promised the Snake Princess not to tell anyone else," Robin said gently, lying side by side. "Only Hancock will know once she becomes the Snake Princess in the future…"

"Sounds like it's something really important!"

Liam closed his eyes, letting out a casual sigh.

Robin sighed lightly and murmured, "There's a reason why this country prohibits men from entering…"

Liam suddenly opened his eyes.

After thinking for a moment, he turned his head to look.

Robin's profile was picturesque, with soft lines and a delicate nose. She had already closed her eyes and was gradually falling asleep.

"Even though there's no wind, you'll catch a cold sleeping like that! Do you think you're me?"

Liam squeezed Robin under his armpit and, as a dark shadow in the night, jumped directly down from the city wall.

...

In the palace attic, the Snake Princess draped herself in thin silk and walked barefoot to the balcony. The stars tonight were as dense as sand, shining brightly.

...

Inside Kuja City, the night was quiet, and the people were simple and honest, making it a place where doors were left unlocked at night.

The Boa house had not closed their doors, which startled the three sisters when Liam and Robin barged in.

Hancock was taken aback. She had just been gossiping about Giorno and Jolyne with her two obedient younger sisters, and suddenly, they showed up?

Sandersonia and Marigold were at a loss, unsure whether they should greet Robin.

After all, she had indeed been officially recognized as Princess Kuja by the Snake Princess.

Liam put Robin down. Robin waved her hands shyly, "No need. I'm... Jolyne. Just call me Jolyne."

"Oh…" The two younger sisters glanced at their still-moving big sister. "Jolyne."

"What are you two doing here?" Hancock asked, not in the best of moods.

Liam chuckled, "It's so late, we have to find a place to stay, right? In this country, you're the only one I know."

"Don't you have a place to stay?" Hancock glared.

"Is that a proper place?" Liam glared back.

Was he supposed to say that it was because today, his good brother B.I.B. and the Snake Princess had fought a bit too fiercely, and now he was a little afraid of adding extra burden to it?

Hancock was annoyed. While she didn't mind letting Jolyne stay at her place, she had a very unpleasant day, so she insisted on being irritated.

But the two younger sisters blinked at her with watery eyes, eagerly looking up as if to say: Elder sister, just agree... We didn't get to touch the legendary man today while in line!

Just a touch!

"Really pathetic!" Hancock scolded. It's just a man; how many times has she not touched one? She didn't even know how many times she had done it!

Oh, she meant training.

The kind of training in combat!

...

The next day, four different flower girls and a boy standing at 1.8 meters tall walked out of the Boa house.

The Snake Princess summoned Princess Robin to the palace.

Her two younger sisters, Sandersonia and Marigold, naturally went for their daily training, striving to become qualified warriors who could join the pirate crew and not be left behind by their elder sister next time…

Hancock, however, was dissatisfied with how she had been treated yesterday. While the Snake Princess was speaking with Jolyne, she had been excluded from the conversation!

For as long as she could remember, Hancock had always been favored, so it was the first time she experienced such a psychological gap.

"I want to go too!"

Hancock raised her hand and looked back at Liam. "Giorno, are you going?"

Liam was pondering whether he should take a trip to Rusukaina Island to get some nutritious food and replenish his energy, so he wouldn't be completely drained when he returned B.I.B. later...

Hearing Hancock's prompting, he asked in confusion, "What would I do at the palace? I'm not familiar with your Snake Princess! I'm not a princess or anything…"

It was already a privilege for him to appear in this country openly as a man, thanks to Jolyne Princess Your Highness's exemption.

Hancock blinked and tempted him, "Don't you want to see the real Princess that Snake Princess gave birth to?"

She emphasized the words "real Princess" a little too much.

Liam and Robin exchanged a glance, both feeling somewhat helpless. Hancock really did have a bit of a childish temperament... Oh, right, she's only twelve years old, after all— she's still a child!

Hancock revealed extra information, "Just so you know, I named the real Princess..."

"I don't care what her name is," Liam said, lacking interest.

"... It's Luffy!"

"Let's go! Let's check out the palace!"

Liam waved his hand and headed straight for Kuja Palace.

Hancock clicked her tongue and chuckled, putting her hands behind her back and stepping along with a lively pace.

Robin asked her, "Is her name really Luffy?"

"Yep!" Hancock held her head high.

"..."

Robin truly didn't understand. Had this girl not been scared by Liam's book? If she had been scared, why would she name the son of the character "Hancock" so tragically...

...

When they arrived at Kuja Palace, the Snake Princess seemed to have just come out of her chambers, her golden hair flowing and her soft dress loosely tied with a silk scarf.

"Princess Your Highness."

"Princess Your Highness."

Wherever Robin went, the maidens bowed, making her feel quite uncomfortable.

Since she was young, no one had ever treated her with such respect... As for Liam, even though he had indeed said strange things like he was a fan of hers, their relationship was just that of normal friends, comfortable and easygoing.

When the Snake Princess saw Robin, she smiled gently and began to speak softly.

Hancock followed her inside, and the maidens were unfazed. When the Snake Princess glanced at her, Hancock made a funny face in return, which didn't bother her at all; she just smiled lightly.

However, the Snake Princess glanced at Liam a couple more times.

"You're quite impressive," she said with a smile. "With your strength, ordinary Marine bases shouldn't be able to deal with you."

She must still be remembering what Liam had rambled about yesterday regarding the

ranks of Commodore and Admiral...

Seeing her smile so warmly, completely devoid of yesterday's Haki leak, Liam was curious. "How much of your strength did you actually use yesterday?"

"Well..." the Snake Princess smiled slightly. "Does it really matter?"

Before Liam could reply, Hancock, feeling impatient, exclaimed, "I want to see Luffy!"

She took out a snake-shaped pendant. "I prepared a gift for her! Where is she?"
