draft for chapter 1:

Mundungus Fletcher was trying to get Albus Dumbledore to buy his sketchy goods yet again, and to get him to shut up, Albus decided to buy a bottle of firewiski.

Little did they know, that bottle did not hold firewisky at all, but instead the creation of a muggle born wizard that was trying to combine science and magic to make the ultimate alchoolic beverage.

Long story short, Albus and Mundungus (who Albus shared the drink with) got drunk, VERY drunk.

In their alchoolized state, they decided, for s*its and giggles, to attempt a muggle demon summoning ritual. The summoning suceded, not that their drunken minds noticed.

Sudently, there was a 3rd pearson in their midst, a stranger, one who for some reason had bat wings on his back. What did Albus and Mundungus do? Why, ask him to join in their drinking of course!

Strangely enought (well, strange for anyone not drunk out of their minds anyway), the man acepted.

He also got drunk on the "firewiski".

Soon enought, the 3 man were trading storys and laughting like old friends, the man with bat wings also sharing about his life in the underworld.

At one point, the conversation turned to their families. Mundungus and Albus had no one special in their lives, so when they learned the man with bat wings had a wife and child they wanted details, and when they learned the child was fruit of an affair they were like sharks that smelled blood.

The man with bat wings explained that he had an affair with a human woman, and that she died at childbirth, he explained that he took the child in and raised him alongside his wife (who was totaly chill about her husband fathering a child from another woman by the way, much to the amazement of the two wizards). The man also stated that his son just turned 11 and was very curious about the human world, the world of his biological mother.

At that, the drunken Albus happily ofered for the child to study at hogwarts.

Long story short, the man with bat wings agreed after some persuasion and left to tell his son, prepare his luggage, etc etc and bring him to albus the next day so he can be enroled into the school.

The deal with the devil was made and it was sealed with an unbreakable vow between Albus and the man with Mundungus as witness (why go as far as to make an unbreakable vow? Because drunk people do drunk things).

The next day Albus woke up with a killer headache, and when the memories of the night before hit him he blanched.

He used oclumency to sort the memories and make sure they were real, and sadly for Albus, they were.

Before Albus could get his bearings, a magical circle apeared before him, and out of it, apeared the man Albus wished was never real and an excited 11 year old boy.

"Hey Albus!" Greeted the man with a big smile as the circle faded. "This here is my son, John Belial, take good care of him please."

Albus had his face frozen in terror, with his mouth open and a strangulated wimper coming out of it.

Not noticing his new friend's plight, the man turned to his son and knelled to his height while putting a hand on his shoulder. "Alright John, remember: behave, obey uncle Albus, brush your teeth before bed, eat your veggies, make some friends and lastly, have fun exploring the human world." He then kissed his son's forehead. "Love you. I will be back to pick you up in 10 years." The smile never left the man's face during the interaction.

"I love you too dad, see you in 10 years."

The kid happily waved to his dad as he stood up and proceded to disapear into another magic circle.

The kid, John Belial, half demon from hell and now hogwarts newest student, then turned to Albus and ofered an inocent and bright smile.

Albus was torn between making an unbreakable vow to never drink again or raiding his stash for the strongest bottle he could find and chugging it all in one go.

soooooo, this idea came and the first chapter draft kinda wrote itself. i have not decided yet if mc (John Belial) will be a reincarnated pearson or not, nor have i decided if this should be a crossover world or if dxd universe will be an entirely separate world that dumbledore and mundungus managed to acess

at first i wanted mc to be a noble house half devil to give him acess to bloodline powers (i am leaning towards belial for the worthlessness power) and a sacred gear (leaning towards twilight healing), but that may change as adding all of that to the devil's imagination based magic may be way too much for the verse
