Chapter 6 - Hey, Give Me Back My Home (1)
[Personal Statement) But you all need to know this;;]

The alien species gays who post here in the community are relatively docile, but there are a lot who aren’t like that.
I’ve been closely watching the community for several days, and it seems all alien species are influenced by their “folklore traditions.”
That means some might have naturally ferocious or violent natures.
What this means is:
If you approach out of curiosity, you might end up as a corpse.
The other day, I saw a bear beastman tearing through a metal plate on the street, and it gave me chills thinking that plate could have been me.
Seriously, be careful.
It hasn’t even been 6 days since the incident occurred, and there are already so many accidents.
I really hope they enact the Special Alien Species Law soon.

It’s definitely scary. When a muscular orc passed by, hissing, my knees went weak…
Accidents are inevitable. Who wouldn’t want to try out their new powers? lol
But if it’s only one in ten thousand people, can’t we just gather them all in one area? Wouldn’t that make management much easier?
ㄴ You idiot, would that work? What kind of Joseon Dynasty solution is that?
ㄴ As if the alien species would agree to that lol. We’d be lucky if it didn’t cause terrorism.
Are there any species we should be cautious of? I’d like to avoid those species if possible.
ㄴ I don’t think you need to be careful around pixies and vampires? From what I saw last time, pixies are filming Man vs. Wild daily, and vampires hate Koreans because of the garlic smell?
ㄴ They’re such pathetic species lol

To summarize the situation:
There was someone living in the apartment above my rented room who had become a dragon due to the large-scale species transformation incident.
While playing a game of disease as usual, they encountered someone who was griefing.
They were harassed throughout the game, and even had their parents’ well-being questioned?
In a fit of uncontrollable anger, they unconsciously breathed fire, and that’s how my apartment became engulfed in flames.
…How did I know all this?
Well.
“I’m sorry… I’m really sorry… sob…”
The culprit behind everything came to apologize to people in the same situation as me.
According to legend, dragons have a pride greater than any other species.
Seeing such a species apologizing in such a pitiful way, their nature itself didn’t seem bad, but.
What does it matter? They couldn’t control their anger and burned down someone else’s precious apartment.
Whatever the case, this person sobbing uncontrollably in front of me was nothing but a damn bitch from my perspective.
“Hah.”
I wanted to pour out a truckload of curses, but unfortunately, I didn’t have that luxury.
I had 6 hours until sunrise.
Within that time, I needed to find a place to hide.
I don’t want to burn to death in sunlight.
“First, give me your contact information.”
“Wh-what?”
“Aren’t you going to compensate for the damages? Don’t tell me you think it’s over just because you cried and said sorry?”
“O-of course not! H-here… my contact information.”
“I’ll be in touch soon, so wait. If you don’t answer, then I’m really going all the way.”
After leaving that warning, I left the scene and let out a long sigh looking at the night sky.
“Haaaah…”
How is it that not a day goes by without sighing since I transformed into this pathetic species?
Just when I thought I had put out all the urgent fires and would have some peace, another urgent matter is thrown at me, damn it.
“Ah, I need some soju.”
I don’t particularly like alcohol, but with all these hardships, I felt the desire to get drunk.
…Should I just buy some alcohol and crash at a friend’s place?
I’ve always been on the receiving end of their complaints, so maybe it’s my turn now.
“…Should I stay at one of those guys’ places for a few days?”
Given that I needed to find shelter immediately, it wasn’t a bad idea.
The few friends I have all attend the same university, so their rooms are all nearby.
Someone might ask why I need to stay at a friend’s place for remote classes, and if showing up would be an inconvenience.
For the first question, I’d say “because I don’t know how the situation will turn out.”
The decision to proceed with remote classes was only until detailed guidelines are released.
Depending on how those guidelines come out, the situation could become awkward, right? So I needed to stay somewhere for a few days while looking for an apartment for the semester.
And for the latter question…
My friends have stayed over at my place many times, so they can’t really say anything.
They frequently visited, poured out their complaints over drinks, passed out, and returned the next morning.
“If they don’t let me in, I’ll tear off their door, really. And then I’ll cry loudly right in front of them.”
Since I can’t enter without an invitation, I’d have to protest like that at least in front of their house.
With a firm resolve, I began to search for a friend who could provide me with a place to sleep.
The first person I thought of was Hye-eun, who had helped me a few days ago.
Even when I called late at night, they came to help without hesitation.
If I explained the situation well and asked for help, they would help, albeit with some complaints.
However, I placed Hye-eun’s place as a lower priority.
If the homeowner was a normal human, it might be different, but now they’re an angel, right?
Even when they visited my apartment a few days ago, I felt suffocated.
If I felt that way just from a brief visit, what would it be like in a place where an angel has stayed for a long time?
“…I’ll end up purified. With high probability.”
Of course, there’s a chance I won’t be purified, but I didn’t want to gamble with my life.
So I turned my attention to the apartments of other guys.
“One is kind but has a small room, the other often argues but has a large room… hmm.”
I didn’t have to think for long.
Having experienced both friends’ apartments, I knew which one was more comfortable.
If I’m going to spend a few days, wouldn’t it be better to spend it in a comfortable place?
Having made up my mind, I immediately contacted [Grumbler].
[Hey, I’m screwed]
[Look at this]
(Roughly a picture of the apartment burning nicely)
[Where did my apartment go…?]
Probably taking a break from work, [Grumbler] replied soon after I sent the message.
[??????????]
[What? What the hell happened?]
[More importantly, where are you sleeping tonight?]
Where am I sleeping? In your house, of course.
Muttering quietly, I sent another message to [Grumbler].
[Sorry, but can I stay at your place for a few days?]
[I have unavoidable circumstances that prevent me from going to Hye-eun’s or Jeong-hyun’s.]
[Is that okay?]
Please allow it.
Your place is the most comfortable in every way.
How long did I wait, praying desperately in my heart?
Fortunately, [Grumbler] allowed me to stay at his place for a few days.
[Just come in and get some sleep]
[We’ll talk tomorrow morning.]
I left a message of thanks and quickly rushed to his apartment.
“…Living a spectacularly dramatic life.”
A rare personal message from Jiwoo.
As I was replying that he could stay for a few days because his situation seemed tough, the owner approached me with a worried face.
“Is something wrong? Your expression doesn’t look good at all.”
“Ah, sorry, boss. My friend has a bit of a problem.”
“Hmm, what kind of problem would make our Jaehyuk, who never loses his smile, have such a serious expression?”
“It’s nothing major. Just that there’s a problem with his apartment, so he’s staying at my place for a few days.”
“Is that so?”
When I responded indifferently as if it was no big deal, the concerned face of the owner suddenly turned mischievous.
…I don’t know what kind of comment he’s about to make.
Every time he makes that expression, I seem to receive quite troublesome questions.
As I looked at him with a wary gaze, the owner asked with twinkling eyes.
“Is it a man or a woman?”
“It’s a man. Why, do you think I might have a thing for them if it’s a woman?”
“That could be the case! You know, friends are more likely to end up together…”
“Don’t say such horrible things. Friends are just friends, boss.”
Remembering a gloomy female friend who casually made sexual jokes every time we met, I couldn’t help but shake my head.
A friend I’d be embarrassed to introduce anywhere. Getting together with her…
“Uweeeeek…”
Just imagining it made me want to vomit.
I’d rather not marry at all.
As I tried to start washing dishes, passing by the boss who was spouting nonsense, he took away my rubber gloves and spoke in a serious voice.
“Go home for today. There aren’t many customers at the bar, and you don’t seem to be in a state to work.”
“…Do I look that serious?”
“Yes, you seem to have no composure at all. I always say, what happens when a person has no composure?”
“…They’re bound to make mistakes.”
“Correct! Instead of staying and making mistakes, please go home now, part-timer. You know that mistakes come out of your wages, right?”
“Yes.”
In response to the boss’s gentle dismissal, I quickly finished cleaning up and started heading back to my apartment.
A rare early dismissal.
As I quickened my pace, I tried to guess the “unavoidable circumstances” Jiwoo mentioned.
What could those “unavoidable circumstances” be that made him ask me instead of Hye-eun or Jeong-hyun?
It probably wasn’t a pleasant thing for him to ask me either.
“…Did he fight with the others? No, that’s not it. Given his personality, he rarely clashes with Hye-eun or Jeong-hyun.”
If he were to clash with anyone, it would be me, not the others.
Hye-eun has such high energy that they’d get tired before any conflict, and Jeong-hyun is too kind to even think about clashing.
“If it’s not a fight, then what is it? I really can’t guess.”
Arriving at my apartment after various speculations.
Deciding to just go in and hear the answer from him directly, I flung the door open energetically.
“Six thousand seven hundred thirty-two… six thousand seven hundred thirty-four… when will this ever end… ugh…”
Instead of a handsome guy with a sturdy build, I saw some crazy woman meticulously counting scattered rice grains one by one.
What kind of idiot is this now?
Seriously.
