I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 151: Second Layer to the Forest of Disruption? [12]

In terms of mana volume, Lillian was a sure loser. The Spider, despite its limited means of attack, seemed to never run out of mana. However, such an advantage seemed to have nearly reached its lifespan.

As Lillian snapped her fingers—

—SNAP!

Drills, created from water, manifested in the air. Dozens floated behind her in the air, spinning. The fog around them began to roll over, becoming swallowed by the drills.

With a dramatic flick of her finger, one of them was shot from its place.

BOOM-SPLASH!!

It collided with the Spider's chitinous black mask, narrowly missing one of its eyes.

However, even so, the force behind the drill caused it to take a metre step back. Not only that but a dangerous crack webbed from the centre of impact.

Its entire front body was then tilted up a metre off the ground. The blood leaking from the hole in its abdomen sprayed up.

Lillian closely watched the rain of blood darting towards her. With a wave of her hand, she formed a curtain of water that caught the crimson droplets.

After tossing the crimson rain to the side—

SPLASH!

She carried on with her assault. With another flick of her fingers, she launched another volley of drills at it. After doing so, she manifested a liquid longsword in her hand.

But amidst its creation, she briefly thought about her current plan of attack. Although the Spider was a walking artillery tank with nimble movement, it still had something she could cut through.

She can cut through its joints. But would it give her the chance to?

While Lillian was going over her plan, the Spider danced through the fog. Weakened by blood loss, but light on its "toes". It swerved around the missiles of water, avoiding each one.

Soon enough, to escape one, it leapt on top of a tree, causing it to shatter under its weight. It then leapt onto a group of trees, spreading over its weight.

It then shuffled its body around, getting into position. Its remaining eyes trailed the liquid wires through the fog.

As it did this, the pupils in its eyes seemed to narrow. Because of this, Lillian's blurry, small figure became visible despite the fog.

While it was doing this, another quill sprouted from its back at a ridiculous rate. It then aimed the metallic needle towards Lillian to find her staring at it eerily.

It felt its body temperature drop for a few seconds. And then suddenly—

POP! Hiss...!

Something suddenly erupted in the socket of its missing eyes. It was boiling. Scalding hot and extremely irritating, it felt like the entire inside of its head was suddenly lit aflame.

During this moment, of painful distraction, a drill shot through the air breaking through one of the four trees under it. Its body suddenly dipped to the side.

Just as it was about to pull itself up—

POP! Hiss...

Another pop rang aloud, followed by a dreadful, fiery pain that caused its focus to dip, as well.

THUD!

It fell to the ground. Bleeding. Weakened. And nearly out of mana. But it still rose back to its legs. As soon as Lillian walked through the fog and stared at the Spider, she scowled.

They stared at one another. Covered in blood. But Lillian... it wasn't hers. In fact, she wasn't even a bit wounded. That was one of her advantages in this fight.

Her last "Win Condition". The System Shop.

No matter where she was. Or what she was doing. It would always follow her. Ready to hand over a potion at a cost. And even a weapon, if she wanted.

However, despite her being without her weapon, she chose not to buy one. Although she did say she wasn't going to take any chances with the creepy Spider, she was going to stick to a little challenge she was always given.

"No real weapons allowed..." She grinned, raising the weightless longsword in her hands. "Only abilities."

The Spider stared at her with caution before pulling one of its legs back to a fallen tree.

Just as Lillian was going to take a step forward

SWOOSH...!

The Spider lobbed the grey and decrepit tree at her. It rolled through the air before being sliced through by Lillian's longsword. However, it didn't really help in stopping it.

She crouched, letting it fly over her before watching them hit the ground, finally splitting apart. She let out a sigh of relief before feeling an odd presence near her.

Like a spring, she leapt back—

—THWOOM-THUD!

Dodging a quick strike from the Spider as it stabbed its leg into the ground. The coldness of the fog brushed against her face as it fell with the Spider's attack.

Skrrr...!

Lillian's skidded back before leaning forward. With a kick of her right foot, she leapt back in. She raised the longsword over her head and swung.

SWOOSH!

Her straight blade wobbled before curving back and lengthening. It then sliced through one of the Spider's joints, causing another showering of blood to happen.

Lillian quickly held up a hand, creating a wall of water, and stepped back. The barrier she had created became soaked in the Spider's crimson blood.

It was eventually dyed to the point it was no longer transparent. With a push of her hand, she launched the crimson wall, causing it to crash into the Spider like a tidal wave.

The blood dripped through the cracks in its armour, dyeing its face.

Lillian then lowered her hand back to her sword's hilt. And with a kick of her right foot again, she dashed back in.

However, just before she could reach it, she suddenly had to twist her body to the side as—

—SWOOSH!

The Spider's leg stabbed at her. The tip's sharp, metallic surface stared at her menacingly as the world seemed to briefly slow for a moment in her eyes.

And then...

She felt her heart anxiously tighten as the feeling of something breathing down the back of her neck subtly appeared. Her eyes drifted back and saw another leg speeding towards her lower back.

Her eyes flashed with urgency. She rushed her mana towards her lower abdomen and—

—SPLASH!

Allowed it to pass through her. She let out a shaky sigh, having just escaped death by a hair's breadth. Fortunately, she had already returned the chest plate to the Mana Realm.

As she stared down at the spike sticking through her lower abdomen, she noticed something passing through the fog.

Her eyes were then reflected in the surface of a purplish-looking ball that flew towards her. Her nose twitched at the foul smell. Was it the Spider's venom?

She grimaced at the lack of time to rest before pulling herself off the spike and dodging. Her nose twitched at the concentrated smell of the venom narrowly passing by her.

Thump...

Lillian rolled along the ground, clutching her right cheek.

Hiss...

It burned. A droplet from the venom must've splashed onto her. She placed her finger on the area before jolting away at the sharp pain.

She gave another sigh as she summoned her chest plate.

After getting back up, she looked around. Lost. And so was the Spider, who hid behind the fog. She hissed, "Damn cowar—!"

She then widened her eyes as a volley of spitballs shot towards her. All being the Spider's venom.

She raised a wall of water, catching the barrage coming at her. She then gave another sigh of relief. But then—

—Hiss...

She heard something bubble. She immediately stepped back, watching as the venom dripped from the wall, eating through. She tossed the wall to the side, carrying away the venom.

She then heard a subtle whistle off to the side.

She glanced in the direction and saw another spitball coming at her. It was no issue. She could just blast it away. And that was what she did.

She raised her right hand towards it, blasting a torrent of water that pushed it back. However... something pierced through the blob of venom and the stream of water she sent out.

It was long, narrow and shone with a metallic sinister lustre that glimmered a faint blue coating. It was one of the Spider's quills.

And...

THWOOP!

It was too fast...

She widened her eyes. Her vision was suddenly filled with the blooming of a red "flower." It was an uncomfortable feeling as it flowed through her arm.

And then suddenly... she felt like she lost something.

Thud...

Something that dropped to the ground. Allowing something to pour out of her.

Lillian slowly moved her left hand to her right arm. Only to come in contact with a shallow stream of a warm, thick liquid. The smell of iron tickled her nose.

She then slowly drew her eyes to her arm. Her arm. Yes... Her arm.

Lillian stared dazedly at where her arm should be. She then drew her eyes towards the bleeding stump.

Ah... she had lost her arm...

A shadow then loomed over her, who was overtaken with shock to notice.

The Spider stared down at her, flashing its fangs and...
