I Was Sold to My Mortal Enemy (Double Transmigrations)

Chapter 20

When Shi Yi opened his eyes on the second day, he found himself surrounded by a red gauze curtain. He was completely undressed, and an arm was wrapped around his waist.

As soon as he attempted to move, there was a snapping sound, and he received a hard slap on his buttocks.

“Good boy, be patient for a moment and stop causing trouble!” Pei Xing’s voice sounded hoarse and weary. Shi Yi had kept him up half the night with his restlessness. His lovesickness had not granted him a peaceful dream, instead stirring up past grievances.

It was only then that Shi Yi noticed Pei Xing was also unclothed, bearing various love bites and other marks on his chest.

His head throbbed, and he dimly recollected being drunk the previous night, vaguely recalling a dream where he had passionately dominated Pei Xing. However, the reality before him didn’t quite match that memory.

While there were indeed bite marks on Pei Xing’s body from his own actions, there were even more on his own. His injuries had almost healed over the past few days, but now there were fresh, ambiguous marks.

Anxious to confirm what had happened, Shi Yi attempted to sit up but was gently pushed back into Pei Xing’s embrace.

“Are you awake? Do you remember what you did yesterday?” Pei Xing inquired.

Shi Yi struggled to recall, blinked his eyes, and replied groggily, “What happened? My head is pounding, and I can’t seem to remember.”

“Oh, can’t remember, huh?” Pei Xing chuckled softly and held his hand.

“Then let me help you recall your memories.”

“Don’t mess around! You bastard!! Stop biting me!!”

“You can’t remember?”

“Let me go quickly!! Don’t get crazy! Like a dog.”

“Who is crazy!!”

Bang Bang!!

He received two more slaps.

“Big bastard!! Divorce!! I want to divorce you!!”

Pei Xing’s eyes darkened, and he hit him twice more, his voice filled with danger.

“Ha! Tell me one more time.”

“Who let you to hit me? I won’t…”

The words were blocked in his throat, leaving only a whimpering sound.

.

An hour later, Pei Xing had a satisfied look on his face. He leaned against the head of the bed, holding Shi Yi in his arms, gently soothing him with a soft voice as he dressed himself. He wiped away the tears from the corners of Shi Yi’s eyes and kissed his slightly reddened and swollen eyes.

“Baby, stop causing trouble. If you’re tired, just rest for a while. We’ll head back tomorrow.”

Shi Yi, with a hoarse voice, muttered some curse words, turned over, and buried himself under the quilt.

Pei Xing chuckled softly, pulled Shi Yi out from under the covers, and guided him to the dining table to have breakfast.

Shi Yi, however, refused to cooperate, twisting his head away and ignoring Pei Xing’s attempts.

Pei Xing gently pinched Shi Yi’s chin and playfully suggested, “Baby, how about I feed you with my mouth? It’s just like how I fed you hangover soup yesterday. Remember how you enjoyed it?”

Shi Yi immediately grabbed the bowl and began eating on his own. After finishing his meal, he didn’t even spare a glance at Pei Xing. Instead, he slinked back to the bed and cocooned himself under the quilt. Pei Xing realized that he had teased Shi Yi quite a bit this time, so he accepted his fate and behaved patiently. He continued to coax Shi Yi and remained in his room all morning.

Around noon, after Shi Yi had fallen asleep, Pei Xing asked the waiter to pick up the wedding dress and jewelry that had been arranged the previous day. When he returned with the items, he found Xie Yu pacing in front of his room.

“What’s the matter?” Pei Xing didn’t beat around the bush and got straight to the point.

“Do you still have the Huiming Pill and the Golden Marrow Pill? I also need the red blood powder and condensation ointment. I’ll take as many as you have. Money is not an issue; I won’t skimp on compensation,” Xie Yu asked anxiously.

Seeing Xie Yu’s urgency, Pei Xing handed over all the requested medicine without hesitation. “No need to worry about payment. Thank you for saving Shi Yi last time.”

“Alright, I won’t hold back. If you ever need help in the future, just let me know.” Xie Yu responded before hurrying away.

.

He had initially intended to visit Pei Xing to request the medicine the day before, but their encounter was unexpected. Later, Shi Yi got intoxicated and went wild, leaving no opportunity for discussion. Over the past two years, Pei Xing had engaged in business dealings with Xie Yu multiple times and understood the importance of their relationship.

They spent another night at Huanyue Tower and departed the next afternoon, returning to Xiangshan Village. Shi Yi continued to give him the cold shoulder, which frustrated Pei Xing. He felt like he had inadvertently shot his own foot, their wedding night was only a day away but he got impatient.

According to tradition, the two of them were not allowed to see each other before the wedding. Shi Yi moved to Father Song’s house, where Uncle Lin stayed with him throughout the night.

On the following morning, while the sky was still grey, Uncle Lin woke Shi Yi up for the preparations. After he was dressed, another young shuanger entered the room, with his pristine red lotus between his eyebrows, fair skin, and an attractive, youthful appearance. Uncle Lin brought the young shuanger over to Shi Yi.

“Zhouzhou, you’re the only shuanger around here for miles. You and your husband have the best relationship. It’s fitting, come help Shi Yi with this final golden hairpin.” Uncle Lin said.

Usually, the golden hairpin usually pinned by the parents, but for those without parents, they had to find a couple with a strong relationship. Since Uncle Lin was Father Song’s second wife, he didn’t quite fit the role, so Zhouzhou, who was also a shuanger, was chosen.

Zhouzhou, a young shuanger with milky-white skin and bright, deer-like eyes, looked at Shi Yi, nodded, and delicately placed the golden hairpin in his hair. However, instead of leaving, he remained seated beside Shi Yi. His face turned a rosy shade, and he pursed his lips.

After a moment of hesitation, he mustered the courage to raise his head and offer something to Shi Yi. The item was wrapped in a white handkerchief, and when Shi Yi unwrapped it, he discovered a bright red fruit about the size of a red date. He tasted one, and it was refreshingly juicy with sweet, fragrant flesh.

Having woken up early in the morning and not yet eaten, Shi Yi’s inner glutton was awakened. He devoured eight of the fruits all at once.

Zhouzhou was momentarily stunned by Shi Yi’s appetite. He looked at him with wide eyes, biting his lip, attempting to say something. His fair and tender face turned even redder as he opened his mouth, too embarrassed to speak. Instead, he extended his trembling hand and offered a small box of ointment.

Shi Yi detected the sweet floral fragrance of the ointment but wasn’t sure of its purpose. Seeing Zhouzhou’s shy gesture, he didn’t want to refuse and took some of it to apply on his face as a token of gratitude.

“Hahaha, it smells great. I really like it. Thank you.”

Zhouzhou looked at him, blushing furiously, and finally whispered that it was for the buttocks.

There was a two-second silence, and then realization dawned on Shi Yi, causing his face to suddenly flush with embarrassment and discomfort.
