chapter 25
25 – Blooming emotions
In a world where the same things repeat every day, a man appeared.
I saw my mother in that man. He saw his mother wiping away tears alone every night.
That sight caused a ripple in my heart. The ripples, though calm, spread everywhere.
The ripples that spread everywhere knocked on the walls that had been blocked. The weak ripple continued to knock on the wall, and soon the wall collapsed. The wall collapsed and emotions overflowed.
The happiness I learned from my mother overflowed with the sadness and pain I felt when I saw my mother.
Those emotions were heavy and I couldn’t handle it, so I poured them out.
Even after pouring it out, those feelings did not disappear, and made her yearn for a man who looked like her mother.
His monotonous life began to change when he stepped into a life that was all about duty.
In order to catch him, I started investigating the curse.
The curse was a curse placed on our family by a demigod witch, and it has been handed down to us despite the witch’s death.
The curse eats up our emotions. And when it hurts the most, it returns those feelings.
I couldn’t understand the words left by successive family heads.
Where in the world is such a curse?
It’s understandable that it eats up emotions. How does the curse of the caster’s death make judgments and return emotions when it hurts the most? That kind of thing is out of business. I couldn’t understand.
I can’t understand it, but it’s not important, so I ignored it and looked for Haejubeop. All the Haejubeop recorded in the family failed.
I hate that fact, but there must be a way somewhere. With time you will find it.
While I was researching the curse with that thought in mind, an invitation came from the imperial family asking me to give a speech at a martial arts tournament.
Normally, I would have made an excuse and ignored it, but I remembered that he was in the capital and accepted the invitation.
On the day of the preliminary round for the martial arts competition, he was seen, and next to him was a man wearing a black robe.
it was annoying
I don’t know why I feel that way. it was just annoying
The next day, it was nice to see him embarrassed when he saw me. However, that feeling was crushed by afternoon.
In the final he is hacked to pieces, and the stage is stained red with his blood.
It was hard to watch the scene. I wished he would give up. However, he didn’t give up. His eyes contained an obsession for victory.
I couldn’t understand the tenacity of not giving up even though it was a gap that no one could win.
At the end of that incomprehensible tenacity, he won the victory.
It was dazzling to see him smiling brightly after winning victory, and unknown emotions bloomed. That feeling moved my body and made me turn to him. I went up to him and held him in my arms as he stumbled and fell.
I gave him treatment for his injuries and stayed by his side until he got up.
Seeing her sleeping peacefully, unknown emotions squirm. Holding on to that unknown feeling, I stayed by his side as he slept.
While guarding him while he was asleep, the thought that I shouldn’t let go of him turned into certainty.
I told him my thoughts when he woke up, and his eyes were shaking.
I can’t understand the emotions in his shaking eyes, but I will definitely not miss him.
With that in mind, I spent a busy time looking for ways to heal.
About the time his proportion in my life was growing, he came here.
It seems that he came from hiding, but the soldiers standing guard at the gate recognized him and reported. Upon seeing the report, I immediately ran to him.
He was with someone he used to go to during the martial arts competition, and it bothered him because they seemed friendly. The words that came out of his mouth were jarring.
“I came here secretly, so there is no need to look for it. And they are not close enough to visit.”
There is nothing wrong with what he said. I came here secretly, so there is no need to come. We’re not even close. That’s all right. However, it was so intrusive that I couldn’t stand it, so I opened my mouth.
At my voice, he turned around with a surprised expression, and seeing that look was a little refreshing.
That exhilaration turned to displeasure at dinner.
When his companion took off his robe, silver hair like moonlight flowed down. The eyes appeared to be carved out of ruby, a beautiful dark elf woman.
I was bothered by the thought of him traveling with this woman.
When I stabbed him once because I was offended by him, I grew annoyed at his defense of the Dark Elves.
The way they cut the meat of the Dark Elves, the way they boasted of their closeness, and the way the Dark Elves talked about their fateful meeting made them uncomfortable. The unpleasantness gnawed at me, and I left because I didn’t want to see it.
I spent my time suppressing the discomfort and guessing what they might have been here for. When the moon rose, I came to a definite conclusion and went to visit him.
He looked faint and smelled of alcohol.
I hated the smell of alcohol, but I held back and told him my conclusion. Fortunately, my guess was correct, and there was enough reason to accompany them. The intention to accompany them was close to a unilateral notice of accompaniment, but it doesn’t matter.
It doesn’t matter what he looks like because he stopped going alone with a dark elf he didn’t know where he came from and he had time to get to know him.
And the next day, our journey began. There was a dark elf that bothered me, but it was nice to be with him.
As time passed, the comfortable journey ended, and the harsh snowfield welcomed us.
My body was tired thanks to the terrible environment of the snowy field, but it was fun to know new aspects of him while being together. Of course, I didn’t like the way he still used honorific titles and the way the Dark Elves were friendly, but I still liked this journey.
An uninvited guest came to that happy journey.
A monster I had never seen before appeared on the other side of the blizzard. Black thorns hang from the body of a lion, and a monster with the face of an old man stares at us.
The monster pounced on us, and a cross-line battle began.
It was fine at first. The monster’s skin was tough and strong, but I thought I could catch it. That idea crumbled over time.
Poisonous smoke erupted from the blood flowing from the monster’s wounds, and the body gradually became dull. A little more time passed and the balance of power was broken.
The monster’s thorn left a huge scar on his side. It’s not where the organs are, but it’s bleeding profusely. His body staggered little by little, and he could no longer block the attack, and seemed to be in a hurry to avoid it.
Seeing that, I tried to attack the monster to draw attention, but the monster ignored me and relentlessly aimed at him.
Soon, his body collapses on a field of reddened snow.
My heart is pounding. not breathing properly
denied the appearance. Denying and denying, I called out to him, but he couldn’t get up.
Desperation weighs me down.
When he threw himself to stop the monster from approaching him, a blue light came out from behind. The blue light created blue flames and engulfed the monster.
The monster, swallowed by the blue flame, screamed, and the Dark Elf, who didn’t like it, cut off its breath.
Seeing that the monster had stopped breathing, I took a potion from my bag and ran to him.
Seeing him up close was even worse than seeing him from afar. Blood continued to flow from his side, and black dead blood flowed from his nose and mouth.
My heart breaks at the sight of it. In a faded world, his color, the only one with color, is fading. The bitter taste of blood lingers in your mouth.
I put a potion into his blurry mouth. Fortunately, he swallowed it well.
I was relieved by that appearance, and then sorry and guilt came over me.
If I had been a little stronger, if I had been hurt instead… He wouldn’t have ended up like this.
The thoughts fill my head and stab me.
Blood flows from the stabbed heart and comes out of the eyes.
the blood drenches him
he stretches out his hand The cold feeling of the leather glove is felt on the cheek.
It must have been cold, but for some reason it was warm.
The warmth withdrew for a moment, then returned.
His rough hand touches your cheek. It was sad that those rough hands were warm enough to touch my heart.
I’m so sad I can’t stop crying He accepted the unending flow of tears.
He laughs because he feels warmth and cries. Her smile was so beautiful that it dazzled her eyes.
With such a smile, he caresses my cheek and strokes my hair.
“Don’t cry.”
His smile, his touch, and his calm words saturate my heart. And he no longer sees his mother.
After talking calmly, I realized it only when I saw him who closed his eyes and fell asleep.
At first, I just wanted to release my feelings for my mother to him. It was just like that.
In the midst of that feeling, a new feeling bloomed. I didn’t understand it at first. now i know that The feeling of love that I had never understood came to me.
Embracing the feelings that bloomed a little later, I stroke his cheek. You feel the warmth, and the emotions that you can’t control overflow. I calmly put aside that overflowing heart and hug him.
Feeling the warmth of his arms, I move toward the destination that is not far away.
