“Emergency, emergency, emergency!”
Kurogawa112: LOL
Anzairus: What’s going on?
Fuckmeintheass: It’s a collaboration, isn’t it?
“Yeah, it’s a collaboration that was decided without me knowing!!”
It was the day after the collaboration with Natsunami Yui-san.
As I lay in bed, scrolling through my daily routine of ego searching, senior streamer Sera Festival made a shocking announcement.
She did mention something about wanting to collaborate during yesterday’s stream, but isn’t that usually just a polite gesture?
Being socially awkward means not being able to take people’s words at face value.
If someone says, “If there’s a chance,” you might hope a little, but deep down, you think it’s definitely not going to happen, it’s that kind of thing.
But there are really people who do it! And without permission! They even announced it, leaving no escape route, that’s quite well-prepared!
After that, I immediately contacted the manager for confirmation, and they said it’s part of the plan, so there’s no problem.
It seems like Sera Festival appeared to have suddenly sprung it on us, but she had done the groundwork properly.
It’s even more awkward now!
“Today was supposed to be a day off, but we’ll hold an emergency preparedness meeting.”
Agane: Well, if she’s going to stream, I’m fine with anything.
Ddurda: All right, go for it.
user-rl8bm9hr3b: Is there a chance Sera-chan might come, and yet you’re having an emergency meeting?
“Oh— Should I block her?”
Agane: You fool!
jules-fj1tr: Don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it!
Sera Festival ✓: pops up
zoinks2547: Ah
Agane: Ah
“She’s here!”
Sera Festival ✓: Check your Line, Kuroneko-san.
“Um, you see, Senpai, I’m currently streaming, and I won’t be able to see private messages for about two more hours. I didn’t know about this, and if possible, I’d rather ignore it. Yes.”
Sera Festival ✓: ?
“Well, that’s not an interrogation mark!”
As I typed, comments like “Hurry up and read it,” “Don’t keep Senpai waiting,” and “Make sure to communicate” started to appear in the chat.
Even during my stream, do I not have any allies?
[LINE]
19:21: Sera Festival: We’ll collaborate in a week.
19:22: Sera Festival: We’ll choose the location to suit Kuroneko-san.
19:22: Sera Festival: Decide what to do by the day of.
“You fool! What are you thinking?”
Ahriman: What’s wrong, what’s wrong?
zoinks2547: Watch your language.
Calling this an after-the-fact approval for collaboration is too early for humanity. In summary, it’s a “hands-off” approach. They’ve decided on a date, so now everything is in our hands! As a collaborator and a senior, how can that be acceptable?
As I expressed my frustration, Sera-senpai simply said, “Well, that’s the way it is,” and then disappeared from the chat. Did she stir up the broadcast just to show the Line messages? She’s too much of a free spirit…
“Now that the demon has left, I’d like to proceed with the preparedness meeting.”
Chunchumaru: Finally, back to the main topic.
Chong-Il: Give up and cry to Yui.
Ahriman: But to collaborate with Senpai just a little over a week after her debut, that’s risky.
mutantmaster: Sera-san’s agility is too light.
“Light agility, or rather, reckless… Anyway, is there a way to politely decline the collaboration?”
Shdsh: Give up.
DraNayban: Once you’ve been noticed, it’s over.
IronMan97: You might have to crush the newcomer???
Ugh.
I wonder what Sera-senpai sees in me. Until around half a year after 1st generation’s debut, there weren’t many streamers doing off-stream collaborations. Of course, the increase in 2nd generation members naturally led to more off-stream collaborations. However, normally, it would make sense for 2nd generation members to interact with each other through off-stream collaborations for about a month after their debut and then move on to senior-junior collaborations.
