I suddenly became the villain and I liked it

Underlings and pain

There was still some time before class so I was heading to a certain location. I did ask Melanie to do something else for me. A meeting with Blanche Frost. She was always the first in class. So, it would be easy to set up a meeting this morning. I instructed Melanie to bring her to an unused classroom. The same one she asked for a meeting. As we were walking, I notice someone.

“Hmm? Oh, it is her.”

We still had some time so we took a detour. Lyn was reading a book outside. She was sitting on a bench by the courtyard. However, only Sylvia and I were here. I also do not have a cup of water. What else could I use? I look around but there is nothing around. In that case, there is only one thing left. I ask Sylvia to take some dirt from the ground/ It is a little dirty but it will do for now. As we approach, I look around. I do not see anyone but without Melanie’s abilities there could be some that we miss. However, I was no longer thinking about that. It had been a while since I messed with her after all. So, I told Sylvia to pour the dirt on top of her.

“What the fuck!? What the fucking hell is this!?”

She jumps up and starts trying to remove the dirt from her hair. She curses as she does so until she looks at me. She then proceeds to be silent. There was a look of surprise from her eyes.

“Something to say?”

I look down at her. However, her reaction baffles me. There was no anger, no hatred nor any fire. It was instead a look of worry? Her eyes look at my whole body, she raises her arms and it feels like she wants to do something.

“Are you-“

She starts saying something but her eyes suddenly widen. She turns her back to me and suddenly runs away. What is going on with her? As I turn back, I hear a noise. Something seems to have fallen but there was no one around. I decide to ignore it and continue to our meeting point.

“I have been waiting for you, Duke Eterna’s daughter.”

“Feel free to call me by my first name, Miss Frost. However, you must use the proper honorific.”

“I understand, Miss Athena. You may call me by my given name as well.”

“Splendid, Blanche. Do you understand why I have called for you?”

“Not yet.”

“You must be confused. You left a message from the principal but it was too early for me to call for you. Which would mean that I called for you for something else. Am I correct in my assessment?”

“Yes. My brief conversation with the principal was enough to let me understand your relationship. So, I used her to request a meeting with her.”

“It is good to know that we are on the same page. Now, tell me why you wanted to meet with me.”

“The Frost family does not incur debt. When we are indebted to someone, we must repay them.”

“And how does that relate to me?”

“Due to the recent incident, I am indebted to you. As such, I must repay the favor in kind.”

“Hmm. I do believe that we had an agreement. Does that not count as repayment?”

“No. It is not enough. With your actions a horrible fate was avoided. A loss of purity, a loss of dignity and a loss life. All of these do not have a value and so I believe that I have not repaid them.”

“I see. So, what do you offer?”

“I offer myself to your service. Feel free to command me as you wish. I shall follow you.”

As I expected. It was not planned but she will be useful in the future.

“Good. From now on, you are mine.”

As I say that, a look of surprise appears on her face.

“Is that so? I understand. I will do my best as your concubine.”

Concubine? What is she talking about?

“What do you mean?”

“Is that not what you meant? Do not worry. I have no problem with the same gender. I would not compete with the position of legal wife as well.”

“Sorry but could you please explain? I did not say any words relating to concubine.”

“Oh. When one declares ownership of another, does that not count as courtship? I have consumed various media with the same outcome. A person declares that some is theirs and they proceed to enact romance.”

Why does she know that? What kind of things is she watching? Since she does not receive a reply, she continues.

“There is one concern. Our family dictates that one should have at least one child with a partner with water or air magic. From your known contacts, only the prince would be eligible. Do not worry about the degree of succession. The crown and us have already agreed on the arrangements so there is no reason to worry.”

She continues as if nothing is wrong. Even Melanie and Sylvia are stunned in silence.

“I see. Let us put the talk of concubines on hold. The prince and I are only engaged and nothing has been solidified yet. We shall continue the conversation in the future.”

“Of course. I understand. If you and the prince do not solidify your connection, I would like to request for your help in locating another to fulfill my familial obligation. Do not worry for I consider myself to be your concubine and no one else’s.”

“Yes. Of course. Let us go with that for now.”

I relax as this talk ends. I did not think we would go to a talk about concubines. But it is all fine. That is just a dream that would not come to pass. As such, I shall enjoy it for what it is worth with my remaining time.

“Now, let us-“

I try to stand up but my body fails me. I lose control and I fall.

“Mistress!”

I hear Sylvia words as I fall unconscious. Ah, I am so weak.
