I can feel my heart beats as I look at her. It is a strange feeling. As someone in my position, nobody would ever dare to defend me but she did. Even though I had been messing with her. Doing stuff with her. We are not supposed to get along. I am the villain while she is the heroine. How utterly delightful.
“Do not worry Lucina. We are just making sure that the person who has been making your life miserable is stopped.”
“What?”
Her voice brings new life to my pained existence. But my body is hurting, my head is pulsing and my ears is still ringing so I cannot understand what she is saying but just the sound is enough to help me through this predicament.
“I know you did not want to tell me so I had to do something like this. But you have nothing to fear anymore. I have captured the culprit.”
“Wait. Are you talking about her?”
My heart beats as she points at me. An energy from within me starts coursing through my body. Slowly giving me strength. Even in my hazy state, I could understand that this is adrenaline coursing through my veins.
“Of course. I have witnesses. They can confirm the story.”
“Well, it is true that she is messing with me.”
The energy lessens the pain in my body. I can finally loosen my grip on this chair. I can fix my posture. I signal to the others that I am fine and so, I feel their hands leaving mine.
“I know, Lucina. Worry not, I will make sure that she cannot do horrible things like destroying your things, destroying your clothes, and stealing your photo.”
“Huh? What do you mean? She’s no-“
“Prince, we must not miss this chance. We have no-“
“Shut the fuck up. You shut the fucking hell up.”
“Lucina?”
The energy courses through my body. I can feel myself becoming stronger. The pain ceases to matter to me as I ignore it. My head clears and a euphoric sense of enlightenment makes me see the world in a different way. My ears stop ringing as my hearing sharpens and I hear the next words they say.
“Athena and I have our own problem but that is not your business. That is between me and her.”
She said my name. The heroine said my name. My senses sharpen, my eyes widen and my mind quickens as I realize the current state of our situation here.
“The one who has been fucking all of my stuff, is little miss motherfucker here. Okay?”
“What? That cannot be right. Athena’s the one who has been doing all of it.”
“Prince. I’ll say it again. The one who has been fucking with me is her and those four pieces of shit. They’ve been destroying my stuff, destroying my clothes, ruining my things, stealing my stuff, hiding my items, and doing other shit like that.”
“Is this true?”
“No prince, she is-“
“What? You’re gonna say I’m a liar? Dumbass, this whole problem is because prince cannot stop himself from trying to help me and now, you’re calling me, the one who is getting helped the liar? Come on, even you know that’s a stupid idea. Oh wait, that’s because you are stupid, you demented piece of crap.”
How vicious. How terrifying. How amazing. She did all of this for me? All for me? Ah. How wonderful. She truly is utterly beautiful. But I must intervene here for I am not one to stay protected. For I am the villain.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
My laugh reverberates throughout the classroom. Each person stops as they hear me. All turn slient as I stand up from m seat and I stride beside Lyn.
“What a wonderful show you have shown me. I did not even need to intervene to watch the climax. Ah. I believe this clears me of your suspicion, prince?”
“There is still the case of you messing with her.”
“But she said that we will settle it between us. So, you cannot intervene.”
“I- but-“
“Stop prince, it is unbecoming of you to force a lady when she has already declared as such.”
“Now then, what shall we do with you five?”
I smile at them as they all huddle on the floor. All of them shiver as I stare at them.
“Although commoner.”
I look towards Lyn.
“You did not need to intervene on my behalf. I had the whole situation under my control.”
“It’s not like I did that to help you or anything. I just got annoyed by them that’s all. Don’t misunderstand. Even if you weren’t there, I would’ve still done the same thing.”
“What you think, matters not.”
“What?”
“The fact of the matter is that your actions led you to helping me. As much as I do not need such assistance is unnecessary. Since you have helped me, it is only right that I reward you for your service.”
“Service? What the fuck do you mean by service?”
My mind is still high from whatever has happened as I grab on her wrist.
“Hey, what the hell? Let go of me. Why are you so strong?”
She tries to break free but she cannot. I can see that she is holding back somewhat but my newfound strength prevents her from breaking free. So, I pull her towards me and push her body to mine.
“What the fuck? What the hell are you doing?”
I put my hand behind her by her waist. I twist our bodies as she leans on my arm. I close the distance between our faces as I connect my lips to her lips as I stare to her golden eyes.
“What?”
It did not matter who had said it. Everyone was thinking it. The scene left everyone stunned. After a minute, I release her lips and stand her up as she stands in confusion. It took her and everyone else a few moments to react with Lyn reacting the fastest of them all. Her face flushes crimson as her lips quiver. She turns around and runs out of the room screaming.
“FUCKING BASTARD!!!”
