Allen ignored the malicious comments and became thoughtful. He could easily break the curse, which wouldn't make her age back to normal, but it would stop her from getting younger. However, that would also take away her powers. Allen shook his head; he knew that even if she became an ordinary girl, she would probably accept it just to get rid of the curse. As for why he would do it, there wasn't really a reason; he just felt pity for the sad look Amanda gave him... and because he had a hidden goal.

Allen observed this. While Shrink-Ray's combat skills were good, they were only effective against villains and criminals from the common to mid-tier level.

Another fight to highlight was Kate against Monster Girl. Allen was surprised but remembered that Rex had insulted Monster Girl and ended up getting a beating in return. But in this world, Rex took a beating from him and was unable to attend today.

Monster Girl transformed into a huge green troll with super strength. On the other hand, Dupli-Kate's ability was terrible; fighting her was like fighting an army. There were a dozen Kates in the arena, and yet there was one right next to Allen, leaning on him.

Monster Girl hit several Kates, but they worked together to attack her from different angles, making it difficult for Monster Girl to focus on one target.

Monster Girl is very powerful, but this time, she is overwhelmed by the numbers; Dupli-kate uses special alloy wires to bind Monster Girl and render her immobile. Still, Robot seemed very satisfied with Monster Girl's performance.

However, those feelings might not be enough to get Allen's attention.

Allen smiled at Kate, "That's an incredible power. It might make me feel uncomfortable having it, but it's not a bad power."

"Haha, thanks~" Kate moved closer to Allen, testing how far she could push his limits. Allen didn't reject her but didn't show any further interest either. Kate bit her lip in frustration but didn't give up.

The next match was between the man in the technological suit and a blonde girl with electrical powers. The man won and even offered his hand to his opponent with applause. Allen smiled. This guy's name was Black Samson; he was a veteran superhero who used to be part of the original Guardians, but he was expelled after losing his super strength. Allen didn't understand why that would be grounds for expulsion, especially since Blackwing had no powers and was still part of the Guardians.

Amanda was downcast, but when she noticed Kate didn't seem to be succeeding in her attempts at seduction, she smiled in satisfaction.

'Take that, bitch...'

After mocking Kate's misfortune, Amanda looked at Allen seriously.

'That guy has a ton of abilities. I wonder if he could help me with my curse?' Amanda bit her lips until they almost bled. ' I'm desperate. At this rate, I'll be a child forever... many idiots think eternal youth is a blessing, but in my case, it's pure torture!'

Even though she could live forever, Amanda didn't want to. All of that made Amanda's life unpleasant. However, Allen showed a lot of skills, so she came with the hope of meeting him and asking for his help. Although, she also knew that Allen wasn't a hero and might not help her.

Amanda looked at the brazen Kate with envy because Kate could use seduction tactics, something that was impossible for Amanda.

'Maybe I should impress him with my abilities... maybe he'd want an assistant,' the girl said dejectedly.

Allen watched all the fights, but his expression grew more serious as time went on. Robot didn't stop praising everyone's abilities, but he was also doing this to build trust in him as the leader.

Finally, Eve woke up. Her confused eyes scanned the area until she saw Allen very close. Realizing she was lying on his lap, she quickly got up, embarrassed. Just as she was about to apologize and ask what had happened, she noticed the serious look on Allen's face.

The last match was starting... but Allen interrupted.

"Stop the fight..."

Allen's words weren't loud, but they clearly reached everyone's ears, sending chills down their spines. A great silence followed as everyone's eyes turned toward him. Allen stood up and floated to the entertainment field. Mark, who had been observing Allen, furrowed his brow.

Allen's gaze swept over the spectators and then focused on Robot. "These are the best of the best?"

"The call was made unexpectedly, but the candidates passed a series of tests to be in this final audition..." Robot responded unemotionally, with his mechanical voice. However, his eyes showed that he was analyzing Allen's actions but couldn't predict his plans, from beginning to end. Allen only showed signs of being an observer, but his actions didn't match his previous attitude.

Allen smirked. "Do you think they're ready to face abyssal monsters, gods, cosmic entities, or even aliens with superpowers?"

Robot stepped forward. "I was granted the right to decide who the new Guardians of the Globe would be by Cecil Stedman, the director of the GDA."

"I didn't ask you that... and I don't care what Cecil said. As a Regulator, I'm evaluating you. Now answer me, Robot, no, Rudolph Conners!" Allen narrowed his eyes, releasing overwhelming pressure.

*Auge*

Men, women, known and unknown, were all overwhelmed. It was like the first time they met Allen when they couldn't even move in front of him. However, this time Robot didn't stay silent, knowing that if he didn't respond satisfactorily, he'd lose his position.

"Experience can be gained, mistakes can be corrected, and strength can be increased with training. The purpose of this call was to bring in superheroes with the potential to help them grow..."

Allen scoffed. "And if they don't have time?"

"The Teen Team members' abilities were enough to handle many crises."

"That's right, I saw how you handled the Flaxians..."

Robot paused for a moment but then answered, "I didn't see it necessary to act further since you handled the Flaxians yourself."

The superheroes were shocked that Robot could respond to Allen's questions. Even his friends looked at him in a new light, none of them could do the same in his place. Of course, there was a trick, and that was that Robot wasn't really there.

Everyone concluded that Allen was being tough so Robot could prove he could be a good leader for the new Guardians of the Globe.

"Alright, if you're so sure, I want to see how you handle a crisis..."

Allen's words caused confusion among everyone, but Robot raised his voice, something he had never done.

"Everyone down!"

The next second, Allen raised his hand, and a sphere of energy was formed in his hand in an instant from the arena, a blast of energy shot through the reinforced building, soaring into the sky.

"AHHH!"

Everyone who ducked could feel the pressure, knowing that if they hadn't, they would've been dead.

Invincible was angry and yelled at Allen, "What's wrong with you?! You could've killed someone!"

"That's the plan..."

"I knew it, you are evil!"

"Shut up..."

Invincible attacked Allen but received a blow that broke a couple of his teeth and sent him flying through the building.

Allen's cold words left all the superheroes, including Kate and Eve, who were watching from the side, terrified.

"I don't know what's worse, the fact that you think just because you dress like a superhero it makes you one, or that you naïvely believe the incarnation of the Apocalypse won't appear in front of you in the next second to kill you," Allen began to release electricity from his body, creating an electromagnetic field so dense that Robot's systems started failing. "Kids! Now I'll try to kill you! If you survive, consider it your final exam!"

No matter the distance or location, everyone on Earth felt a sense of insecurity and fear, as if their world had fallen into the darkest abyss.

"Don't worry, you'll only feel fear, despair, anguish, and frustration. Don't worry, nothing you do will stop it. Don't worry, this world is over, don't worry, there's nothing that can stop me..."

With those words, Allen stomped, causing the entire city to tremble and shake the reinforced building.
