I Possessed the Heroine’s Teacher

Chapter 29

Restraint refers to the act of restricting or binding one’s freedom of action or will, or detaining someone for the sake of securing criminal procedures. It’s a complicated explanation, but in summary, it means you’re screwed.

And I was now restrained. Not just restrained, but with a seal that blocked my magic. If a magician can’t use magic, what are they? Just a machine that produces poop. A seal that blocks magic was shining on my wrist, so I was now just a machine that produced poop every day.

“Glacies, this is quite a flashy reunion, isn’t it?”

A reunion that turns someone into a poop-making machine is more flashy than any parade.

My physical strength wasn’t weak, and I had martial arts skills, so I could have resisted. But who were the parents of the young lady restraining me?

First, her father was the famous Northern Beast Slayer, Melchior Winterheart. And her mother was the Queen of Vampires. They were both far superior to me in strength and speed. They were Werner’s older brother and sister, but Glacies was an exception.

She was a monster who clearly hated Werner for the humiliation she had suffered in her childhood. If she was weak, it wouldn’t be a problem, but she had inherited her parents’ abilities and was a genius in both magic and swordsmanship. She was also excellent in political affairs, a perfect woman.

The problem was that this woman was trying to kidnap me.

“The reunion hasn’t even started yet. I’ll leave it for later. Because…”

Before Glacies could finish her sentence, a silver flash flew into the carriage. Glacies narrowly avoided the silver flash aimed at her neck and responded with a smile.

“Your disciple is quite violent. I heard she’s the daughter of Zig and Media, but I’m disappointed. It seems she hasn’t inherited their excellent character.”

She was speaking politely, but the meaning was clear: ‘Your disciple’s parents are excellent, but your disciple’s personality is terrible.’ I agreed with this.

I looked at the silver flash embedded in the tree and saw that it was a fork, not a dagger. And yet, it had pierced the tree so deeply. I hadn’t taught her how to throw shurikens or forks.

“… Get away from my master.”

Iris emerged from the carriage, exuding a menacing aura and a voice as dark as her words. I could swear that Iris’s aura alone could kill a bear.

However, Glacies didn’t seem intimidated and remained calm.

“What if I don’t get away from him?”

“Then I’ll make you. If I cut off both your arms, you won’t be able to touch my master with those dirty hands.”

Cutting off both arms would make it impossible to touch anything, not just impossible to touch him. But I didn’t say this out loud because I wasn’t that insensitive.

Still, I was happy that Iris was thinking of her master. Please save me, Iris. This is why the princess liked the plumber who tried to rescue her from a fake kidnapping. But when I thought about it, my situation was special, and their kingdom’s security was terrible for a princess to be kidnapped.

Anyway, their kingdom’s security was the second worst thing. The worst thing was my life.

“You two, your fathers and mothers are close friends, so calm down…”

“Master, be quiet.”

“Please be quiet for a moment. I still have business to attend to.”

Damn, I was being forced to remain silent. I thought I had the right to intervene, even though I was restrained, but apparently not.

“You may not know this, but Werner is my fiancé. So, it’s my right to take him with me. Are you going to stop me from exercising my rights?”

Damn, does an engagement give you the right to take someone’s human rights? Isn’t that sexual slavery?

“Aren’t you ashamed of acting so shamelessly after being stood up 13 years ago? If I were you, I wouldn’t even leave the house out of embarrassment.”

How does she know about my engagement story? Did I say something when I was drunk? This is why alcohol is the enemy of health. It will shorten my life.

“Wasn’t it because my age was a burden to him that he disappeared for a while? Isn’t that right?”

Glacies suddenly crossed her arms and asked me a question. I felt a sharp object behind me, and although I didn’t know what it was, I knew that being stabbed would be bad.

But I had to nod my head because I was just told to shut up. You told me to shut up, didn’t you? I’m just an English gentleman who can’t refuse a lady’s request. The sharp object behind me wasn’t what I was afraid of.

“Did you see that? Werner said the same thing. That was just a postponement of the engagement, not a cancellation. Don’t be so naive, young lady.”

Why does it sound to me like she’s saying, ‘It wasn’t a cancellation, so shut up, you ignorant newbie,’ and why is she calling Iris young when she’s 21 herself?

Iris seemed to be upset by the age-related insult. It’s frustrating when someone brings up age in a fight.

“So, you couldn’t even come to me formally and had to resort to an attack? Are you a thief?”

Did she usually insult people like this? When people get angry, their true nature comes out, and Iris’s true nature was this. I thought her head was full of flowers, but those flowers were actually flames. This confirmed that her attribute was fire.

“That’s a low-level provocation. Just because you’re lucky enough to have good parents, you…”

“Would you please shut up? I can’t stand the stench of a bitch who’s been rejected by her fiancé since she was a child.”

The two women looked at each other and laughed, but then they clashed. Glacies drew her magic sword, and Iris drew the sword her father had left her.

Clang!

The sound of the swords clashing was like the sound of two dump trucks colliding.

“You seem to have some skill with the sword. Even a monkey like you has some talent.”

“Do you have a disease that makes you talk, or do you want me to nail your lips shut so you can die?”

These were not ordinary words for two women to say while fighting with swords. But then again, it was unusual for two women to fight with swords in the first place.

As the sound of clashing swords continued, one of the attackers held a sword to Irina’s neck.

“Take your hands off my friend, you bastards.”

I couldn’t help but curse, ignoring the command to be quiet. Was it my friend’s body’s instinct, or was it my sense of justice? Either way, the killing intent I exuded was clear.

Everyone present turned to look at me, but what could I do? I couldn’t use magic, and they had a hostage. It was just a show of force.

The attackers didn’t let go of my friend and instead took a stance that threatened to take her life if I did anything strange.

Unconsciously, my feet moved towards Glacies. Of course, being with my fiancée could put my life in danger. But I didn’t want to put an innocent person in danger for my own safety. Neither Werner nor I would want that.

“Glacies Winterheart, my fiancée.”

“Yes, what is it?”

“I’ll go with you, but please send my companions safely home.”

“If that’s what you want…”

Fortunately, Glacies was someone I could talk to about this.

However, Iris didn’t seem to understand what I was saying.

“Master, what are you saying! Are you going with that woman? What about me…?”

At that moment, Glacies approached Iris and whispered something in her ear. I don’t know what she said, but it wasn’t something like, ‘Your poop is thick, bitch.’ Maybe she used some kind of padrip(insulting remarks that use one’s own parents) to shake Iris’s mental state. By the way, that doesn’t work on me or Werner because we both don’t have parents.

But whatever she said, it must have been a severe padrip because Iris was trembling. Did she say something like, ‘Your dad stole a spoon from a restaurant and ran away, and then he died’?

Glacies put her arm around me and tried to take me to the carriage they had brought. But Iris grabbed my sleeve.

“Master, if you leave like this…”

If I left like this, both of us would be in danger, my disciple. I had no choice but to hug her and say,

“Go to sleep for a while. Don’t look for me…”

Then, I struck her pressure point, causing her to faint. Even though my magic was sealed, I still had enough strength to strike her pressure point and knock her out at close range.

After confirming that Iris was unconscious, I said to Glacies,

“Please send my disciple and friend safely home.”

“I don’t want to create conflict with Zig and Media’s daughter.”

She was talking about creating conflict after fighting with swords just a moment ago.

“And if she wakes up, please tell her not to look for me.”

If Iris came to me and caused trouble, it would only complicate the situation.

“I understand.”

After receiving her confirmation, I got into the carriage heading north.

I was now being taken to the north. Damn those northern bastards, this is why I hate communists.
