Chapter 14: Chapter 14 What is sexy
"Even the savage orcs from the south can possess it, why can't I?"Arthas remained indifferent to the other's anger. Here, Deathwing dared not act, as any move would draw the attention of other guardian dragons.
If he didn't want trouble, he wouldn't act. Indeed, under Deathwing's warning gaze, Nefarian grunted, seemingly suppressing his anger. "Fine, I bet. Where are your notes?"
"You'll find out when you win. Get your dragon mount ready, I'll need it later. Do you know what the Shadow Realm is?" Arthas didn't mind throwing the Warden out to attract attention.
Currently, the barrier between life and death was strong; no one could easily cross it.
"Shadow Realm?" Deathwing and his children fell silent for a moment. They knew about Deeprock Isle, Abyssal Throat, Wind God Throne, and the Underworld, but the Shadow Realm was unfamiliar to them.
"After all living things die, their souls are escorted to the Shadow Realm by messengers, where memories are judged by arbitrators. Souls inclined to war go to Maldraxxus, while demigods and nature spirits go to Ardenweald. Souls with great sins yet redeemable, suchas you." Arthas pointed at Nefarian, "return to Revendreth for penance and punishment until their sins are cleansed."
"What else?" Unable to contain his curiosity, Deathwing asked, surprising Onyxia, as her father had always been brutal and composed.
"Souls beyond redemption are thrown into the Maw, enduring eternal torment until their consciousness fades away completely. That is punishment. As for me, Paladins go to Bastion, where the souls are escorted to the Shadow Realm by the messengers of Bastion. You must be wondering how I know, right?" Arthas smirked mysteriously.
Deathwing, Onyxia, and Nefarian, or rather the three dragons, all nodded in unison, still processing the information.
"Because I've seen it!" Arthas chuckled sinisterly.
"What! Aren't you alive?" Onyxia exclaimed, her disbelief evident in her eyes.
"Can't the living witness it? Guardian dragons can become world destroyers, pigs can climb trees, and roosters can lay eggs. Do I need your approval for all that?" Arthas's expression was playful, simultaneously irritating and awe-inspiring.
After a full two seconds, Deathwing stared at Arthas and inquired, "How can you prove it?"
"Yeah, how can you prove it? Who knows if you're lying!" Nefarian, now realizing, joined in the taunting.
The atmosphere grew tense. How could they prove the truth of this matter?
Did it require them to die once?
Life was precious; talk of resurrection was nonsense.
Initially thinking Arthas was flustered, Onyxia was surprised by the calm and composed demeanor of this human prince.
And he even carried a hint of mockery? How dare he! She felt anger for the first time. How dare he mock them, a short-lived human ghost, at nearly eternal dragons?
"Firstly, you can find Helya in Maw in Stormheim; she has aligned with the Shadow Realm. Secondly, if you can meet Odin in the Halls of Valor, ask him; he surely knows. His eyes were lost in a deal with the Shadow Realm. Thirdly, dying once will get you into the Shadow Realm." Arthas didn't speak entirely truthfully; nine parts true, one part lie was the hardest to uncover.
Deathwing's pupils suddenly dilated, as if realizing something dreadful.
His voice grew hoarse, emanating a dangerous aura around Arthas. The temperature rose due to the intense atmosphere, as if ready to roast someone alive.
"His Royal Highness Prince, you seem to know too much."
Arthas emitted a holy light, isolating the temperature outside. "It's nothing. Although I don't know who you are, your strength is formidable. As long as you don't disrupt the alliance, I won't interfere. After all, I've seen too many dragons, Bronze Dragons, Eternal Dragons."
Onyxia remained cautious, while Nefarian assumed a fighting stance, flames igniting around him.
"It's a shame, His Royal Highness Prince." It seemed he had long wanted to take down Arthas.
Snapped!
Nefarian was slapped and sent flying, knocking down two tables and chairs before stopping.
What confused him was that it was not Arthas who took action, but his father, Deathwing.
Both siblings harbored deep fear towards Deathwing, a father who had become incredibly ruthless. They had no choice but to go along with him, feeling trapped without an escape route.
"Who gave you the right to treat His Royal Highness Prince like this! Get out and bring your wager to His Royal Highness Prince! Katrana, bring in the red wine I've been saving, I want to have a good drink with His Highness. My apologies, Your Highness, I have failed in teaching my children properly."
Arthas breathed a sigh of relief internally, knowing he wouldn't stand a chance against Deathwing in a real fight.
The gap between them was too vast. The only way to win was to deceive Deathwing in situations where he was unaware.
"Don't be so polite, Duke. Why not speak your intentions? We can help each other; strength does not always guarantee victory. If strength alone determined success, the orc army would simply line up for defeat."
"Oh, I wonder what His Highness desires?" Deathwing's eyes flickered.
He couldn't meet Odin, but perhaps a meeting with Hella could be arranged.
Odin doesn't have a good look on all the guardian dragons. If he goes, he may be beaten to fractures.
Don't think that Earth Warder is very powerful. There are many creatures that can deal with him.
"In Orc in the south, there is a branch called the Dragonmaw clan that has obtained a treasure forged by dragons in ancient times. I want that treasure. Is there any way Lord Duke can help me?" Arthas said lightly, and Onyxia just happened to take it. Walked in with two bottles of red wine.
Her graceful waist shows what it means to be slender, and her elegant movements show what it means to be sexy, especially her inadvertent smile, which makes Arthas's heart beat a little faster. This is an irresistible beauty.
