Chapter 30 - Strangely Excited
I slowly opened my eyes to the sweet breath touching my face. Right in front of me was Inis. She was sleeping soundly. She must have been very tired.
Squeeze-
As I moved slightly, her soft breasts swayed. My erect dick rubbed against her lower abdomen.
I tightly grabbed my pants with my hand. I wanted to touch her body right now, but with superhuman patience, I firmly held back.
“Inis.”
I forcibly raised my hand and shook her body. At my call, Inis slowly opened her eyes.
“Mmm…?”
Her eyes were blank, probably because she had just woken up. Focus gradually returned to her pupils, and eventually, she met my gaze.
“Eh eh eh… M-Master….”
She blushed and moved her body. Each time she did, her lower abdomen rubbed against my dick, and I felt a soft sensation on my chest.
“Ngh….”
Feeling that things might get out of hand if we stayed like this any longer, I tried to leave the hole.
“Krrrrk…!”
If only there wasn’t a sudden goblin cry.
“Gasp….”
Her eyes widened as if they might burst. She covered her mouth with her hand and tried to control her breathing as much as possible. I also held my breath tightly. If we were discovered now, it would truly be the end.
Squeeze, squeeze-♡
Was it because of the crisis of death? My dick became more rigidly erect, stimulating Inis’s lower abdomen.
“Hngh…♡”
She let out a shallow moan at the sensation of her womb being pressed.
“Krrk?”
The goblin reacted to the voice. The sound of stepping on leaves gradually came closer. My heart pounded like crazy at the approaching goblin.
Squeeze, squeeze-
Each time, my dick became even harder. As if wanting to ravish the female in front of me. Unconsciously, I grabbed her waist and pulled her toward me.
“Hngh…♡”
Inis trembled. Her face was flushed bright red. She covered her face with both hands. I touched her waist and listened for sounds.
“Krrrrk….”
The cry was now very close. Since it was clear we would be discovered at this rate, I decided to strike first.
“Fire.”
As I summoned the flame, I consumed magic power to an absurd degree.
Whoosh!
A flame that blazed vigorously as if oil had been poured. The leaves and branches that had been piled around turned to ashes. Sunlight suddenly entered the dark hole.
“Krrrrrk!”
I swung my arm wide as I exited outside. The flame that appeared at the entrance drew a semicircle. It moved according to my will and action.
As I completely left the hole, the forest came into view. Because the creatures had green skin, it was momentarily difficult to distinguish them from the leaves.
“Keaaaak—!”
At the fierce cry, I gave up distinguishing between enemies and the forest. All I needed now was firepower.
“Spread out.”
The flame that had drawn a semicircle began to move forward. The leaves and branches piled on the ground burned, and the goblins stepping on them were incinerated as well.
“Krrk! Krrrrrk!”
The goblins instantly fell into confusion. In the midst of this, a few lucky ones rushed at me.
“Fire.”
I immediately summoned a flame, but it was impossible to block all the goblins coming from all directions. Having come out in a hurry, I hadn’t even grabbed my mace. In times like these, I had to give flesh to gain bone.
I bit my lips tightly. I crossed my arms and prepared for the attack. Beyond my arms, I could see a goblin leaping.
Bang—!
Just before the creature could strike me with its club, it was hit by a shield and flew away. It looked like it had been hit by a truck.
“Master. Are you alright!?”
“Yeah.”
Realizing that Inis had come nearby, I immediately swung my hand to the right. I burned all the goblins approaching from the right. Their green skin turned bright red.
Slash—!
She cut down the goblins coming through the left gap one by one.
Whoosh—!
Meanwhile, a goblin thrower threw a stone in this direction.
“Burn.”
I immediately burned its eyeballs. It collapsed, holding its melting eyes. I additionally dealt with three more nearby.
The fight ended as the remaining goblins either turned to ashes or became incapacitated.
“I’ll take care of the ones that aren’t dead yet. Master, please rest.”
At Inis’s words, I nodded. Sitting on the ground, I checked my remaining magic power. I had used as much as 40% in the recent battle. It was probably because I had used firepower stronger than necessary.
Is there no way to increase magic power? I should ask Egun when I meet her later.
“Master. I brought these.”
Inis, having dealt with the fallen goblins, brought the magic stones. There were more than 15 of them. I received them all and put them in my pocket.
“Hmm hmm.”
Now that we had overcome the crisis, I felt a bit embarrassed. Well, the atmosphere before the battle started was like that.
“Ah.”
Inis, who noticed my thoughts, also blushed. I guess I shouldn’t have shown my feelings. If I had just stayed quiet, things wouldn’t have become awkward.
“Are you feeling okay?”
“Yes. Perhaps because I slept with you, Master, I feel very energetic. Are you alright, Master?”
“I’m fine too.”
Her gaze went to my crotch. As my erection had subsided, it wasn’t standing as it was before. Of course, I was still a bit excited because Inis was looking, but still.
“I-if you don’t want to relieve… that, would that be okay? I-if Master is okay with it… I’m okay with that kind of thing too….”
Inis spoke with a red face. She’s okay with that kind of thing too? For a moment, I was tempted to ask, but I held back.
“…I’m fine for now. It would be a bit sorry to ask Inis just to satisfy my sexual desire.”
Honestly, if it had been a different slave, I wouldn’t have been this considerate. I was too tired to care about someone else.
But Inis was an exception. Weren’t we the ones who could understand each other best in this world? So I didn’t want our relationship to go wrong because of greed.
“I-if you don’t want to, that’s okay….”
She looked dejected. Perhaps she had been looking forward to it too.
“If I really can’t bear it later, I’ll ask you then. Okay?”
“Yes!”
Her bright smile made me momentarily dazed. She could smile so beautifully. At the same time, I was slightly tempted to ask now.
…But that wouldn’t be right, would it?
Once my magic power recovered, we immediately left the clearing.
The prairie was quieter than ever before. It felt like there had never been a time this silent.
Other parties might have enjoyed the serenity. But we knew. This was the calm before the storm.
Gulp-
I moved slowly, with a magic compass in one hand and a mace in the other. Inis also continued to be vigilant of her surroundings. If we encountered enemies, our lives could be in danger.
“…Still no response. I wonder if this thing is broken?”
I frowned while looking at the magic compass. It hadn’t moved at all since earlier. By this point, I was suspicious that I might have been scammed.
“That’s probably not the case. It was pointing well at the beginning.”
Hearing my thoughts, Inis shook her head.
“Perhaps it could be due to the anomaly occurring in this level?”
“You mean the orcs and goblins are the cause?”
“Yes. I read in the guide….”
“That guide seems to have everything. At that rate, it should be designated as essential reading for adventurers and made mandatory.”
“It is actually a book that the staff highly recommend. Of course, I’ve never seen anyone other than me reading it.”
Well, after risking their lives at work, no one would read a book instead of drinking. Of course, from a rational perspective, reading would be the right choice. But when are humans rational creatures?s tend to prefer a drink of alcohol today over a piece of paper that might help tomorrow. So there was a reason I hadn’t read the book.
“…So what does it say there?”
“It says that when the ‘storm in a teacup’ phenomenon occurs, the number of stairs that can lead out of the level decreases dramatically.”
“Why?”
“The reason hasn’t been discovered yet. However, the most plausible hypothesis is that the labyrinth desires human flesh and souls.”
“It needs human flesh and souls, huh….”
I think I read that when I played the game. Of course, since I was the type to skip dialogue, I couldn’t even remember. I just had a vague feeling that there might have been such content.
“Tsk.”
From now on, I should read the game text carefully. Of course, if I return to the original world, I won’t go anywhere near games.
“So in the end, we have no choice but to wander around. You’re saying the stairs are reduced, not completely eliminated, right?”
“Yes. Or alternatively, we could wait for the disaster to end.”
“Because eventually one side will win?”
“Right.”
It was certainly an appealing proposal. Not having to risk danger.
“That won’t work. We didn’t bring much food to begin with, and who knows when the war will end.”
“That’s certainly true.”
“And with our strength, we can certainly flee or fight enemies. There’s no need to foolishly wait in this situation.”
“Then shall we continue moving and look for stairs?”
“Yes.”
I resumed my steps which had paused. How much time had passed that way?
“Oh.”
The magic compass, which had shown no response until now, began to move. It trembled and gradually pointed to the right.
“This way.”
I headed in the direction the needle pointed.
Going straight, then turning right, then straight again. After walking for more than 30 minutes, the compass began to glow softly.
“This is….”
“It means there are stairs nearby!”
Inis said with a bright smile. I smiled back and continued to follow the compass.
When we reached the end, the stairs finally came into view. But as luck would have it, orcs were positioned there. Seeing that, I let out a deep sigh.
“…I guess we can’t wait until the orcs leave?”
“No. The stairs aren’t fixed; they disappear and reappear in different locations.”
In the end, to escape the greenskin territory, we would have to fight the orcs.
“Alright. Let’s give it a try.”
There were quite a few of them, but we should be fine. Probably.
