“Upon hearing Cecilia Priest mention about seizing seven abyssal demon flames from the seven Abyssal Demon Kings of Hell, Song Jian immediately smirked and refused without hesitation.

After the game updated the Abyss Demon expansion pack, a lot of information about Abyssal Hell was revealed. Moreover, it includes a profession transfer to abyssal professions that would directly teleport one to Abyssal Hell, essentially changing the map. To return to the main plane of the game, one must either accept relevant quests or await the true opening of the Abyss Passage;

As for Abyssal Hell, its introduction in the expansion pack only mentioned the existence of seven Abyssal Demon King monarchs therein, unlike Cecilia’s claim of there being eight demon kings;

However, according to Cecilia, the eighth demon king had fallen a long time ago. Perhaps, that’s why the expansion pack only described the remaining seven Abyssal Demon Kings!

Each of these seven kings is at least a third tier in power. To challenge third-tier power, one needs to reach level 100 after passing first-tier power at level 30 and second-tier power at level 60!

These seven Abyssal Demon Kings have existed for at least thousands or even tens of thousands of years. With Song Jian’s current strength, trying to snatch the abyssal demon flame from them, was undoubtedly like throwing an egg against a rock—only resulting in certain death!

As for the Book of the Abyss upgrading to a Demi-God Artifact, Song Jian thought it was not worth risking his life for such an item;

‘Do you think I would give you a deadly mission?’ Cecilia Priest laughed;

‘Of course not, but…’ Song Jian shrugged, ready to refuse again when Cecilia interrupted him.

‘The seven demon kings disappeared a hundred years ago!’ Cecilia declared;

‘Disappeared?’ Song Jian was taken aback, as this was not mentioned in the expansion pack’s introduction;

‘Yes, the seven demon kings of Abyssal Hell vanished from it a hundred years ago.’ Cecilia explained: ‘Some people said they found a better world and left together, while others say they fell from internal strife over a treasure…’

‘There are many legends and nobody knows the real one!’ Cecilia looked at Song Jian and revealed: ‘But the fact is – no demons appeared in Abyssal Hell for a hundred years!’

‘What if they had just gone on vacation and would return in a few days?’ Song Jian shrugged.

‘Even drinking water can be deadly!’ Cecilia laughed;

Song Jian hesitated and said after a while: ‘But aside from the demon kings, there must be formidable creatures in Abyssal Hell, like those second-tier powerhouses…’

‘Indeed, there are powerful creatures in Abyssal Hell…’ Cecilia looked at Song Jian: ‘Not only are they strong, but there are also many of them. But do you think you are the strongest in this world?’

‘A qualification token? You managed to get such a treasure?’ Seeing the token in his hand, Cecilia exclaimed in surprise: ‘Such tokens are extremely rare in this world and only appear at specific times!’

‘By using the qualification token, you would be eligible to enter the Inheritance Tower and face its trials. If you were to pass all of those, the token would grant you the qualifications for one of the ten unique professions. By choosing Sword Immortal, after passing the Trials of the Inheritance Tower, you would be a short step away from becoming a Sword Immortal!’ Cecilia explained.

‘What? It only grants the qualification to become a Sword Immortal, what’s a preparatory Sword Immortal?’ Song Jian asked with surprise.

‘Did you think it was that easy to get the qualifications for one of the ten unique professions?’ Cecilia said with a cold hum: ‘There hasn’t been a unique profession in thousands of years, all of the deeds attributed to these professions in game legends were actually accomplished by their preparatory professions. Moreover, the preparatory professions are only half a step away from the ten unique professions. If you take the step, you would become a being that could match a deity!’

‘Seems like it’s not so easy to take that half-step…’ Song Jian said with a bitter smile;

‘Half a step is a huge difference. If you can step over, you can. If not, even half a step is as insurmountable as an abyss.’ Cecilia said, ‘Those are beings comparable to deities. Do you think the gods would want them to appear?’
