Now is the year 841 in the world of Attack on Titan
- My Pov -
After arriving at the church, I immediately laid my body on the bed and fell into a deep sleep. For some reason, I could feel my heart pounding even as my body started to feel light and relaxed.
'
I can feel the sunlight warming the temperature and atmosphere in my room, and as a result, my body begins to react so slowly that I eventually pull myself out of deep sleep and open my eyes.
While drawing in a slow and steady breath, I didn't immediately get up from my bed. Rather, I laid down my body for a while facing the ceiling, but as you can see, it appears as though I'm looking at something in particular.
'system,' I said to myself.
- Yes Host -
The next thing I knew, a prompt screen appeared in front of my eyes, and after that, I could hear a robotic voice in my head. At that moment, I was immediately shocked.
"sound?...is this sound coming from the system?" I muttered with a touch of bewilderment in my voice.
Because in the past, I was only able to read the text that was displayed on the prompt that appeared in front of me, but it seems that I will now be able to hear the sound coming from the system without having to read the extensive text that is displayed on the prompt.
Because it may appear as though I'm daydreaming for a while when I'm reading the text on the prompt screen, I'm sure the voice feature will be very useful for me in a fight in the future for the same reason.
I can now use the system's chat feature, and before I do anything else, I would like to clarify something.
'system, what year is it now?' I thought to myself while feeling a little anxious.
I noticed right away that the vibe this morning was significantly different from how it usually is, and I even started sweating all over my body.
- Now is the year 841 in the world of Attack on Titan -
As soon as I heard the response from the system, I immediately let out a sigh of relief and even started laughing a little bit because my estimation was not too far off, and my future plans did not appear to have any issues.
'System, has my current existence been noticed by the owner of the Attack Titan?'
This time, I'm really nervous when I ask that because this is very important for my survival in this world of Attack on Titan, and I'm sure that you guys must also be aware of how important this information is for the present time.
One of the Nine Titans, the Attack Titan, can see into the past and the future memories of whoever holds it, and it has fought for freedom throughout the generations. And if I'm not mistaken, at this time, It is currently in possession of Grisha Jaeger.
- We apologize, but this information cannot be released at this time -
'wtf... come on, oi!!!'
After hearing the response provided by the system this time, I was immediately irritated. I realized that I couldn't ask everything I wanted to know because it appeared the system limited the information I could get for the time being.
"Take it easy, Kaiser. I have nothing to worry about in terms of the Attack Titan's ability to see both the past and the future."
"Even if Eren attempts to carry out his plan, I am certain that I will be able to foil it because I am a new and unanticipated variable that was not included in his plan in the past."
I mumbled something under my breath while taking some deep breaths, and as soon as my racing heart slowed down, I started thinking more clearly about what I should do next.
As I am already aware from both the manga and the anime adaptations of Attack on Titan, I knew that Eren was the mastermind behind all the chaos that led to that disappointing end, and because of this, I was resolved from the beginning to change the ending that Eren wanted to achieve.
And when Eren inherited the Attack titan, he was even more miserable than before because he didn't realize the extent of his power until after he had been the Attack titan's heir for a few years. Even after that, Eren still had to struggle with himself to decide what he would do with his newfound power. Even when he creates a time paradox, the ending he wants to achieve is still disappointing.
'If, in the end, Eren died ridiculously like that, then what is the use of the freedom he has fought for up until now? Even the girl he loves is trying hard to stop the freedom that he built from the beginning... hahahahaha... so ridiculous...'
"What a pathetic and boring main character," I said in a low and icy voice, and I didn't even try to hide my disgust when I said it.
Following that, I was able to regain my composure, and then I started making an effort to identify the salient features of the system.
'Points.'
>Points [11,015]
It seems like these are the points I accumulated over the course of these 6 years. I don't know if this is a lot or not, but I don't want to be an idiot who gets too excited but then gets disappointed after seeing the prices of the items in the system shop.
Because I can vividly recall reading about an equally cliched scene somewhere...
'Shops'
- Keep in mind that all of the items in the system shop will constantly be updated daily, and the items that are displayed will never be the same -
> category
[Basic needs] * [Weapon] * [Equipment] * [Transport] * [Information] * [Titan]
I was a little surprised when the word titan appeared in the shop category, but when I tried to click on it, there was a warning from the system saying.
- for the time being, the Host still does not have permission to access this category -
It seems that I can only navigate to the categories that have the light-up button for the time being, and there are only three categories that have the light-up button: Equipment, weapons, and basic necessities.
In the section labeled "Basic needs," I can see various essential items that will unquestionably come in handy for me when things get rough, such as food, drinks, clothing, paper, flashlights, and maps.
"How about we give it a try," I muttered excitedly.
"wth..."
When I went to the system shop to buy some bread for 10 points, how surprised I was when I saw brown bread covered in white particles around it suddenly materialize and float in front of me.
I then tried to reach it, at which point the white particles vanished, and I could easily feel the warmth and suppleness of the bread in my hand.
At first, I was a little hesitant to eat it, but I didn't bother and took a bite right away, and nothing strange happened, even when I swallowed the bread into my body.
"The taste is not very good."
