Damn bug
- My Pov -
Although the sun has completely set and the world is once more enveloped in darkness, it does not immediately become completely dark because there is still some moonlight that illuminates the life behind the walls.
At least the driver of the horse-drawn carriage I was riding in could keep an eye on the road in front of him, which ensured that the trip I took in the carriage did not end in an accident or cause us to become disoriented.
"Kaiser, what are your thoughts on the cloak worn by the girl earlier?" The question came out of nowhere from Milch, who was sitting in front of me at the time.
"Yeah, I like it," I responded as I looked out the window with a smile on my face.
""I'm glad to hear that! I went out of my way to ensure that the design was as close to what you had envisioned for your cloak as humanly possible."
When she said that, Milch had a big smile on her face, and she looked really happy. However, I couldn't help but sigh because I was thinking back to when Milch and I had discussed this cloak issue in the past.
Because I already had a significant number of followers at that time, I felt the need to create a sign or something else that could serve as an identifier for someone who is one of my followers.
So, I designed that black cloak with red eyes as a symbol, and I'm sure you guys are already aware of where I got the inspiration for it.
Yes, I took the idea for the cloak from the cloak that the Scout Regiment frequently wears because, in my opinion, it looks more interesting than a uniform or other clothes that are similar in appearance.
Regarding the red eye symbol, I had other plans in mind while I was making it. As you are all aware, all of my followers call me "Lord," not "blessed child," and they do not refer to me as "blessed child."
Because I have taught my followers to always be loyal to me and to think of me as their "Kamisama," they are really very fanatical and even crazier than the members of the famous "Order of the Walls" organization.
As a result, I devised the red eye symbol, conveying the message that I am constantly by their side and keeping an eye on everything they do. In a sense, the symbol itself is saying that.
'I can see what bad things you will do to me, so don't provoke me, but if I see what good things you will do for me so I will give you my blessing,' something along those lines...
"We've arrived, Kaiser."
Milch, who was sitting in front of me, suddenly gave my head a light pat when she noticed that I was keeping a low head and remaining silent. After giving her a brief glance, I turned my attention to the window.
My horse carriage had come to a stop in front of a large, old building that reminded me of the church associated with the "Order of the Walls" organization.
In addition, I have the impression that nobody lives here, and the building appears deserted. Despite this, however, I can see that somebody maintains it on a regular basis.
"come on."
After Milch and I both went down, I immediately took a deep breath. I then walked in front of the gate of this old church building while admiring the night sky in this world of Attack on Titan.
Every time this refreshing night breeze blows through my body, I can sense my mind becoming more at ease, and it also feels as if all of the current stresses in my life are being lifted.
"They've arrived, Kaiser."
I could see in the distance that my female followers had arrived in a horse carriage and parked it in front of the gate of this old church.
I mumbled, "Hmmm... I can't wait," with a big smile on my face as I looked forward to the event.
You will be surprised to see several people get off the carriage shortly after that, and they all wear the same thing, which is a black cloak that is not too long and has a red eye symbol sewn on the chest and back of their cloak.
After that, seven people who were obviously my followers walked towards me with confident steps. I couldn't see their faces, but at least I knew they were all women.
After that, they all knelt down in front of me, and one of them spoke solemnly, but I could tell by the slight nervousness in her voice that she was very excited.
"We are overjoyed that the Lord has provided us with this opportunity."
But suddenly, in the midst of this almost sacred atmosphere, I heard a man yelling at me, and I could tell from the look on his face that he was both angry and scared.
"man, I don't give a shit about this damn cult you guys are doing, but can you pay me first so I can get the fuck out of here?"
The voice came from the man who became my coachman, and even though his words came across as harsh and irritated, I could tell from the expression on his face that he was anxious, particularly from the way his eyes appeared when he looked at me.
But before I said anything, I could feel the atmosphere around me turning cold and eerie, as if a monster had awakened in the darkness of the night.
"damn bug."
I could hear Milch mumbling behind me as she looked at the man, and in addition to that, I could see seven of my followers who were kneeling in front of me, clenching their fists.
"drag him in." I had a mellow grin on my face as I placed my order.
Following that, I went ahead of Milch to enter this old church, and while we were doing so, I heard a voice behind me saying, "yes, Lord."
After that, I was able to hear the man screaming, and he appeared to be even more terrified when he saw seven of my followers slowly approaching him.
"hiiii... please, don't..."
"I'm sorry, I don't need the money anymore."
"please... let me go."
Others had taken out long knives from behind their cloaks. Some of them had even pulled out long rifles from behind their cloaks and pointed the barrel at the unfortunate man.
When they looked at the man, each of them had a stony expression on their face, and when they spoke, their voices were angry and irritated at the same time, "Get off, you damn bastard."
I couldn't help but chuckle to myself when I saw that, and I even mumbled a little bit, "From the very beginning, you were destined to die tonight as a sacrifice for me during the offering ceremony."
