I Finally Completed The Game After 45.000 Hours

She entered the cave, what a familar place...

She grabbed her axe tightly, gulped, and jumped down.

She was met with... a mess. Someone has already been here. The first layer was completely mined up and all the monsters have been killed already. There was blood splattered everywhere, burned flesh was lying around the cave.

It would be weird if that wasn't the case, months have passed since she got transported to this world.

Someone ought to explore this cave. This was the only way to progress further in the game. She was on guard and careful, she couldn't know for sure if this someone killed all of the monsters or not.

Even the secret areas of the first layer have been explored... someone who knows a lot about the game has been here.

She navigated through the mess and arrived at the portal to the checkpoint. After a moment of hesitation she went through.

Usually the checkpoints were completely save, but who knows if that someone had destroyed the goddesses statue?

She jumped through and was, well... surprised. This place was a complete mess. As if some beast had gone on a rampage in here.

There were cuts and cracks on the walls everywhere, debris lying all over the place, and there were 2 portals.

The first skeleton couldn't offer such a fierce competition... what happened here? Something unimaginable was going down the cave...

She didn't stop, she went straight through to the second layer. At this point she wasn't surprised anymore, she was scared. This place was even worse than the first layer and the checkpoint.

This was supposed to be a lush cave, but... everything was gone. All of the vegetation had been burned down to ashes. A huge bottomless pit was not far away from the portal.

She glanced down the pit, nothing but darkness could be seen. This is insane! What the hell happened here?

Even the final boss wouldn't be able to cause such demolition!

She was scared. Whoever or whatever came down here is an absolute monster she couldn't fight in a million lifetimes!

She collected her breath and went on a search for the second checkpoint. She couldn't just give up.

She found the portal to the second checkpoint, but something was wrong with it... It was distorting?

She didn't know if she should enter this checkpoint at all. This is way too scary! She wanted to walk away and find another way to leave.

She turned around and as she walked away, the portal... was it calling her? She glanced at the portal again. It's like it was luring her inside of it... it was tempting, for some reason.

She resisted the temptation and left. This portal to the checkpoint is too weird! No way I'm taking it! Was what she thought. But she didn't know how she would leave the second layer without the checkpoint.

She didn't have any mining artifacts, and all the tools and weapons on the pedestals were already taken. What can she do... hm.

She was pondering, but her pondering was cut off by one wrong step. She completely forgot there was a giant pit into the void here!

By the time she realized what she did wrong, it was already too late. She was free falling straight into the depths of hell, or wherever that pit led to.

She couldn't feel anything. Was she still falling? Did she die? What happened?

Her consciousness was still with her, but she didn't feel the impact of the fall, or pain for that matter.

She stood up and started wandering around. She was wondering whether she should've just taken the portal to the second checkpoint...

Well it was already too late for that anyway. She felt something calling her. It was dark and malicious, yet so tempting...

She couldn't resist the call this time. She walked towards the source, and the voice was becoming louder and clearer each step she took.

Soon something appeared before her, it was... a scythe. A green scythe. It had a broken blade, it was stuck in the ground by its handle.

This scythe... isn't it the scythe in the statues hands? Why is it broken? Why is it here? Did he drop it or something?

Wait, doesn't that mean that all this destruction is because of him? Just what kind of monster did he fight here...

She couldn't tell what awaited her here, she wished she could just go home... why did he have to come to this cave at all? Stupid her!

She slapped herself to wake herself up. She had to concentrate, this matter would decode whether she lives or dies here.

The scythe was talking to her, urging her to take it. It wanted to be free once again. It couldn't even guess how long it was stuck in the ground like that.

The girl couldn't resist the scythes temptation. She gripped the scythe, suddenly the scythe burst out a heavy bright green energy.

The girls hand started changing color and glowing green. The scythe was sharing some of its energy with this weak human.

The scythe spoke up in the girl's mind, its voice grand and magestic. "Finish my masters request... and help me find him. In return, I will grant you one wish."

The boundless dark space dissappeared in the blink of an eye. Before the girls eyes appeared a large black wolf. It was asleep and wounded.

The scythe radiated a light green color, a blade of flames appeared instead of the broken one.

The sealed wolf woke up. It was huge. Isn't this a wolf that appears in the misty forest? Why is it here, and most importantly, why is it so damn big!

It gazed at the girl with its blood red eyes. Rage filled its soul. All it wanted was death and destruction.

The scythe spoke up to the girl, its tone was sad, it was painful for it to say this.

"My masters request is... kill this dog- no. Kill Coal."
