The Kraken of the Abyss.

A named monster that appears through specific events in the vast Lake of Knowledge surrounding the Island of Knowledge.

As soon as I saw its enormous body, or more precisely, its blue and gigantic tentacle covered in squid suckers, I immediately realized that it had appeared.

Of course, I hadn’t yet thought about why this boss monster had suddenly popped up now.

Story-wise, there were two main scenarios where you could encounter the Kraken of the Abyss.

The first was participating in the episode where Del Rondo Prime, the former chancellor of Luminor Academy, is attacked by the Kraken of the Abyss at the lakeside, and defeating it.

The second was visiting the lake with party characters who met ‘specific conditions’ before that event occurred, forcibly summoning it, and then defeating it. 

And as far as I knew, there were only a few party characters that were currently enrolled in the academy who met those ‘specific conditions,’ including Agnes.

After all, the minimum condition to summon it was entering the lake with a character whose ‘maximum mana exceeded 2,000’.

‘Agnes isn’t here, neither is Orion or Lara, so why did it suddenly…’

There was no way I could swim with these large breasts when I couldn’t even do it in my previous life. Without Water Walking, I would have surely sunk.

Anyway, to survive, we needed to either defeat it or at least inflict enough damage so that it couldn’t chase us.

His swords cut into and dug through the massive flesh of the tentacle approaching right in front of him.

The blade, just over a meter long, became a giant stream of sword energy and cut right through the Kraken of the Abyss’s tentacle.

“ROOOOOOOOAR!!!”

The Kraken’s enormous cry rang out as soon as one of its tentacles was cut off.

It definitely had an effect.
