Chapter 0 - Prologue [I am strangling the young master of the house.]
IMPORTANT T/N: This novel contains scenes and themes that may not be suitable for young audiences. Although it is rated R-15, some chapters are rated R-19 due to sexual content and the content of other non-R-19 chapters may have mentions of things related to sex. Read at your own risk.
Ethan Richard Blackwood.
The successor of the Blackwood Ducal family and Duke Harold’s favorite; his only son.
Ethan is a man who could kill me with a snap of his fingers or worse if he so chose.
He was also one of the antagonists of my favorite game. But now, he lays beneath me, grunting intermittently. He’s strangled by both of my hands and looks like he’s about to lose his breath.
“Ughhh… Ack…!”
…How did it come to this?
At first, I was definitely trying to handle him somehow.
He was trying to pull my hand away with both arms, but with arms that were only flabby without any muscle, he was no match for the strength of an adult woman.
His short, stout body was writhing, and because of his weight, he was only making the stranglehold on his neck tighter.
“Ugh… uhhh… ugh…”
“….”
I almost felt weak for a moment as he shook his head, looking up at me with his pitiful eyes, but then I thought better of it and tightened my grip, putting more of my weight on him.
Whether I loosen my grip here and now, or continue to strangle him to death, will make little difference to my punishment.
Ethan Richard Blackwood. Alias Ethan, the Lout Prince.
There is no happy ending for me in this world unless I kill this son of a bitch right here and right now.
To Lillith Rosewood, the Foolish Maid.
Author’s Note (Author’s Afterword)
Hello, this is PracticeDummy.
It has been a year and a month and a half since I first serialized “Engagement Regression.” *1 And it has been ten and a half months since I first serialized “Hunter Eats.” *2
Since the themes of the two works are very different, I don’t think there are many people who have read both. If there are any of you who have read or are reading both works, I can only express my deepest gratitude.
Originally, I intended to finish serializing “Hunter Eats” and then start a new work. However, I felt that if I did that, I would end up setting aside the story I wanted to write for too long, so I decided to start a new serialization.
This new work will be a fantasy TS (transformation story) romance, much like my first work, “Engagement Regression.” Since the content might be a bit more intense compared to “Engagement Regression,” I have classified it as 19+ *3.
Although the title and prologue might lead some to expect a grimdark story, I have no intention of developing it in that direction. It will probably have a similar feel to “Engagement Regression,” but with a stronger TS flavor.
I’ve rambled on for quite a bit. As always, an author should show their work through their stories. I hope you will directly check out what kind of story I will be writing through this work.
Please look forward to this work as well. Thank you always. z( )z

“Engagement Regression” seems to refer to I Think My Fiancé Has Regressed (제 약혼자가 회귀하신 것 같은데요?), which is completed. It was just recently picked up by the man, the myth, the legend, GalaxyTL himself. As of writing, it has 42 chapters, so if you’d like to read it, you can search for the name of the novel on this site.
“Hunter Eats” seems to refer to an R-19 novel whose title is roughly translated as “If you eat a female hunter, the main character becomes stronger.” Not sure if anyone’s picked this up.
This novel is now rated R-15 and not R-19. Only a few chapters are rated R-19.
Hello! Axiomatic here.
Here’s a quick introduction to the formatting style I use for this novel:
“Italics in double quotations means whispered dialogue or stuff said in indoor voices.”
‘Italics in single quotations means internal thoughts.’
『 Text enclosed in Korean quotation marks refers to displayed text, such as text on an information window.』- not sure how consistent I am with this but it’s generally that.
Thanks for reading, see you in the next one!
