I Became the Golden Sun That Steals the Academy’s Aircraft

chapter 33

033. Surviving on a deserted island

Crackling

The sound of a burning bonfire echoed in the quiet cave. Lily, who was eating Kelney meat from her Gilbert, was able to look back on her current humiliating state once her stomach was somewhat full.

Until she began the comprehensive evaluation, she had a firm resolve to bring down Gilbert. This was because she had a strong desire to return the humiliation she had received to him, who gave her goosebumps just by being in the same space.

Even when she stood on the large-scale moving magic circle, Lily glared at Gilbert and fired up her fighting spirit. Even when she first came here, Lily was motivated. She felt like she wanted to go looking for Gilbert right away, but it was a foolish decision for her to go looking for Gilbert alone without a plan.

Lily stood on top of the magic circle, thinking that if she did what her proud sister had trained her to do, she would be fine.

But as Lily continued her exploration after moving to a deserted island, she soon realized that she had been too optimistic in her overall assessment.

Lily spent the whole day exploring without being able to secure drinking water or food in a forest with poor visibility, and she quickly became exhausted. Although she was still physically fit, the nervousness of not knowing when or where something might pop up left her mentally exhausted.

As the time stretched from one hour to two hours until the sun set, it led to a physical strain on her.

Her hunger and thirst caused by not being able to eat or drink anything pushed Lily, who grew up as the youngest daughter of a count family, to her limits.

Lily, who could not rest and just walked, was wandering through the darkened forest before she knew it. She was drawn to the faint light in the distance and the smell of grilling meat, and she came to this place.

Her problem was that the person there was Gilbert, whom she hated most in the world. She approached unarmed and found herself face to face with Gilbert pointing his sword at her, humiliating her in front of him.

She even got into a situation where Gilbert, who sympathized with her, gave her food and drink.

Lily, to be honest, had thought about it countless times, wanting to rip off her bracelet and abstain from doing so.

She thought it would be better to give up the comprehensive evaluation in order to receive sympathy from Gilbert, but she wanted to be like her respected older sister, so she held on to the whole situation.

Although she hated Gilbert terribly, she also had a great desire to follow in the footsteps of her older sister, who excelled her in everything.

Meanwhile, Gilbert quietly gathered his thoughts as he watched Lily eating her meat with her head down. After securing both drinking water and food, his next plan was simple.

Joining Angelina and Hans as planned before the comprehensive evaluation.

His next goal was to go to the southern coast for that purpose.

So tonight I was planning to eat grilled Kelney leg and take a short rest, but the situation went awry with the sudden appearance of Lily.

What should I do with this Pingchang?

In the meantime, Gilbert had a lot of concerns about how to treat Lily.

She initially tried to apologize for her recklessness, but she gave up due to her too much hostility. Her hasty apology only made her situation worse as her emotions were already deepening.

But she couldn’t decide whether it was right to pretend not to know. I had already given up on having her as a companion, but it wasn’t a good idea to lose out with Lily, who would become an outstanding knight.

Her family was a famous count family in the empire, and her older sister in particular was already an elite among the elite, performing outstandingly on the front lines.

If her younger brother still has the same daredevil personality, Lily will not be the only one whom Gilbert will blame. Perhaps she had already lost her mind since Lily’s sister couldn’t have known about the whole incident.

Wouldn’t it be fortunate if I didn’t draw my sword as soon as I met him?

Gilbert’s head was a bit confused.

After disposing of the fully eaten Kelney bones, Gilbert looked at Lily who was starting to glare at him and realized that he couldn’t put this matter off any longer. If there was no conclusion in some way, there was a high possibility that something would go wrong as the main story progressed.

In a situation where there was no way to return to the original world, the only thing Gilbert could try was to proceed with the main story, so he needed to continue as smoothly as possible.

Of course, even if he progressed through the main story, it was unclear whether he would be able to return to the original world, but he had no choice.

“Let’s talk for a moment.”

"I have nothing to talk about with a guy like you."

Lily sharpened her teeth at Gilbert to the extent that one wondered if a wounded cat would act like this. Gilbert sighed at his attitude of not wanting to mix up the conversation, but he didn’t show it.

“I think it’s natural for you to be hostile towards me.”

Lily’s eyes became even more fierce. Although she was unusual in being kind and gentle to everyone, she was an exception to Gilbert.

"I have no intention of apologizing now. Even if I did, you wouldn’t accept it.”

Gilbert had half given up on improving his relationship with Lily. He didn’t think it was good for her and her pretenders, but she didn’t have her way. In that case, it might have been a better choice not to become okay on the surface but to become an outright hostile relationship. Of course he didn’t really mean to do that.

“…. You’re talking so shamelessly. Of course? “You don’t know how I feel.”

Lily couldn’t stand Gilbert’s words that crossed her line. Not wanting to be in her debt to him, she tried to let him be eliminated, but then realized how far back her thoughts had gone.

Gilbert was more trash than she thought. The way he talked about the past was like a fool who had not changed at all from before.

Lily recalled the first time she met Gilbert in her drawing room.

Eyes as red as bright red jewels and golden hair that sparkles in the sunlight streaming in through the window.

Lily, who was young, greeted him with a bright smile that was different from her usual excitement.

She didn’t know what that different feeling was like at the time, but now that she was an adult, Lily knew very well what that feeling was like. She was truly unpleasant and disgusting, but as a child she had fallen in love with Gilbert at first sight when he entered her drawing-room in the sunlight.

But Gilbert, who approached her with a twisted smile, cruelly trampled on her heart. She had been well-developed since childhood, and she did not hesitate to massage and admire Lily’s breasts.

Unable to properly respond to the sudden situation, she belatedly came to her senses and pushed him.

Lily, who had been nice and nice until then, thought of him as a bit of a mischievous person.

But Gilbert visited Lily and harassed her throughout her stay at her Lithuanian estate. He cleverly came to visit her without the eyes of her servants, and because of her immaturity, she had to endure it all.

Every time Gilbert came to visit Lily, he would make her big breasts grow even bigger, and he would repeat her words that he would touch them, or that they should be his and not go back to her countess.

When Lily was growing tired of Gilbert’s obsession, which was not obsession, the incident happened.

Gilbert seemed to be upset with Lily for holding her back and tried to force her into his room.

Lily felt afraid of her forceful appearance and forcibly shook him off, and Gilbert, who was angry at him, shouted at her.

The saying that she is like a prostitute who displays her boobs in a vulgar manner.

The countess’s daughter, who had grown up beautifully, had her tender heart cut to pieces by the insulting words she heard for the first time in her life.

Lily never forgot for a moment what he said that day. This was even something he heard from the person he fell in love with at first sight. Lily, who had dismissed all his actions as mere mischief, woke up from her dream at those sharp words and ran straight to her father.

He couldn’t even remember what he said. All he could remember was that he was crying bitterly.

Gilbert also knew that situation. That was why he thought there was no way to solve it. What Gilbert did to Lily in the original was a hurtful act that would remain in his memory for the rest of his life.

“Yes. I don’t know.”

"Really. “You casually say things that make me want to kill you.”

"I just had to get what I wanted at that time to relieve my senses. “The only failure was you.”

In that case, Lily had no choice but to become an opponent on whom she could pour out her full hatred. She could handle it as long as Lily’s family and her older sister didn’t intervene. Instead, she said her teammate recruitment would be lost forever, but she had already given up, so she was okay with it.

"I am not an object. Disgusting bastard.”

Lily resisted her urge to run away with her superhuman patience.

"I’ll just go today. I feel like beating him up right now, but I think it’s worth dinner tonight. But not next time.”

"I see. I get it.”

Gilbert did not catch Lily leaving the cave with one last look in her bloody eyes. She thought she would attack right away, but Lily was a better person than Gilbert thought. He didn’t expect her to say it was dinner money.

‘Maybe he’s saying he doesn’t want to go into debt.’

Gilbert sighed, leaned against the cave wall, and closed his eyes. He might not be able to sleep deeply, but he needed to get some rest.
