chapter 0
000. Prologue
The world I opened my eyes to was, to put it simply, a sh*tty world.
No no, to be precise, the world itself wasn’t a sh*tty world. It was a nice mix of medieval and modern fantasy, so there weren’t major inconveniences to living here.
In fact, compared to the completely devastated original world, this place had beautiful natural scenery and clean air, so it was actually nicer to live in.
Most of all, my body here was normal. After my shooting incident left my body mangled and made even simple actions difficult and excruciating, this was extremely satisfying. Aside from not having any physical discomfort, my current body was in even better physical condition than before I was injured.
But the reason I describe it as sh*tty is because of the special traits this body possesses.
With the sh*tty skill characteristics I have, I can only describe it as sh*tty.
[You bastard! Give it back, I said that’s mine!]
[Damn it. Then you should’ve piloted it properly. Now you’re causing more sh*t again.]
In the middle of being swamped, I scowled heavily at the incoming transmission. I was already focused on the enemy machine being expertly maneuvered, so the interruption was pissing me off.
That’s right, say what you want.
If it wasn’t for that bastard, I wouldn’t have done this sh*tty thing again either. If that son of a b*tch had been the righteous and passionate guy he was in the original story, I wouldn’t have had to.
So I decided to let out my anger in a word. I’m the one suffering because of that bastard, so I figured this much was allowed.
[Hey.]
[Give me back my machine already!]
[I’ll give it back eventually. But you know what?]
[Shut up! Get off already. I said that’s my machine!]
[Your machine rocks.]
I chuckled and forcibly ended the transmission.
That felt damn good.
