Chapter 4: Making My land
Aiden then looked at Kira. "Do you want me to give you also what is your gender"
Kiara looked at Aiden and spoke. A new name that will be nice, as for my gender is Female"
Aiden then looked at her. "How about this name, Kumara or Tamamo"
Kira's ears perked up at the suggestion, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Kumara or Tamamo? Both sound beautiful, but I think I prefer Tamamo. It has a nice ring to it!"
Aiden smiled, feeling a sense of accomplishment at the name change. "Alright, from now on, you'll be known as Tamamo! It suits you well."
"Thank you, Aiden," Tamamo said, her voice soft but filled with appreciation. "I feel more connected to my name now. It's as if it carries new strength."
Fenrir, who had been observing the exchange, nodded in agreement. "Names have power, especially in this world. They can define who we are and what we become. You'll grow even stronger as Tamamo."
Aiden chuckled. "Well, it's not just about names. We need to find a way to grow our strength together. What do you think, Tamamo? Any suggestions on how we can improve our abilities?"
Tamamo thought for a moment, her tail swaying thoughtfully. "There are ancient shrines scattered throughout the forest that hold powerful magic. If we can find one and offer our strength, we might be able to gain new abilities or enhance our current ones."
"Shrines, huh?" Aiden replied, intrigued. "Sounds like a great plan. Let's seek one out!"
"Follow me," Tamamo said, leading them deeper into the forest. As they walked, the air shimmered with magic, and vibrant flora surrounded them, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
After a while, they arrived at a clearing where an ancient stone structure stood, covered in moss and vines. "This is one of the shrines," Tamamo explained, her voice reverent. "It is said to be a place where spirits gather, and those who prove their worth can receive great power."
Aiden approached the shrine, feeling a pulsating energy emanating from it. "How do we prove our worth?" he asked.
"Each shrine has its own challenge," Tamamo said. "We must face whatever trials await us within."
Fenrir stepped forward, determination etched on his face. "I'm ready. Whatever it takes, we'll prove ourselves!"
Aiden nodded, steeling himself for the challenges ahead. "Alright, let's do this. Together."
As they entered the shrine, the atmosphere shifted. Shadows danced along the walls, and a voice echoed throughout the chamber. "To those who seek power, you must overcome your fears and prove your strength. Only then shall the gifts of the shrine be bestowed upon you."
"Great," Aiden muttered, feeling a twinge of apprehension. "Let's see what we're up against."
The first challenge materialized before them: a series of illusions that manifested their greatest fears. Aiden found himself standing in a dark void, surrounded by figures from his past—moments of failure and regret played out like a twisted montage.
"No… I won't let you control me!" he shouted, channeling his energy. He focused on the bonds he had formed with Fenrir and Tamamo, the determination to protect them giving him strength.
With a surge of willpower, he shattered the illusions, dispelling the darkness around him. As the void faded, he could see Fenrir and Tamamo facing their own challenges.
Fenrir was battling a shadowy version of himself, representing his insecurities about leadership and his past. "I am Fenrir, the leader of my pack! I will not back down!" he roared, unleashing a powerful blast of fire that consumed the shadow.
Tamamo faced her own trial—an embodiment of loneliness and doubt. "I am not alone anymore! I have my friends by my side!" She conjured illusions of Aiden and Fenrir, their support bolstering her confidence as she banished the shadow.
Once they each overcame their fears, they found themselves back together in the shrine, breathing heavily but united.
The voice echoed again, softer this time. "You have proven your strength and resolve. You have faced your fears and emerged victorious. Now, receive the gifts of the shrine."
A radiant light enveloped them, and they felt warmth spreading through their bodies. Aiden sensed new powers awakening within him, a deeper connection to magic and the world around him.
As the light faded, they looked at each other, eyes filled with excitement.
"Did you feel that?" Aiden asked, grinning.
"Yeah! I feel stronger!" Fenrir replied, his tail wagging with enthusiasm.
Tamamo smiled, her confidence renewed. "With these gifts, we can protect this forest and face any challenges that come our way."
Aiden nodded, determination gleaming in his eyes. "Let's explore what we can do now and make this forest a safe haven for everyone. Together, we'll forge a new path!"
Tamamo them looked at him. "I seem to be going through an evolution"
As then Great Sage. "It seems like Lady Tamamo is evolving from a Normal Nature sprite to a high sperated"
As then Tamamo then started to glow as she did she now has 9 tails as she looks like Kumara from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime.
Tamamo's transformation radiated a brilliant light, her nine tails swaying gracefully behind her. The air was charged with energy as she completed her evolution into a high sprite. Her features became more refined, her eyes sparkling with newfound wisdom and power.
Aiden watched in awe. "Wow, Tamamo! You look amazing! This will definitely boost our strength."
Tamamo smiled, her confidence shining through. "Thank you, Aiden. I can feel my power growing. With these new tails, my abilities have expanded significantly."
Great Sage interjected, "As a high Spirit, Lady Tamamo will have access to advanced nature magic, including enhanced healing and elemental control. You will be a formidable ally."
Fenrir stepped forward, tail wagging with excitement. "This is incredible! With Aiden, Tamamo, and my pack, we can take on anything that comes our way!"
Aiden chuckled, feeling a sense of camaraderie. "We're quite the eclectic group, aren't we? A slime, a high spirits, and a pack of Inferno wolves. What's next? Goblins?"
As if on cue, a rustling sound came from the nearby bushes. A group of goblins emerged, their eyes wide as they spotted Aiden and his companions.
One of the goblins, a slightly larger one wearing a makeshift crown, stepped forward nervously. "Uh, we mean no harm! We're just looking for a place to rest!"
Aiden raised an eyebrow, surprised. "You're not here to attack us?"
The goblin shook his head vigorously. "No! We've heard tales of the powerful beings in this forest. We just want to live peacefully."
Tamamo exchanged glances with Aiden and Fenrir, who looked skeptical but intrigued. "What do you think? Should we give them a chance?" she asked.
Aiden pondered for a moment. "If they want to live peacefully, why not? We could use more allies, especially if they know the area well."
Fenrir nodded in agreement. "If they can contribute to our cause, they could be valuable."
The goblin king looked hopeful. "We can help you navigate the forest! We know all the best spots and hidden paths."
Aiden smiled, sensing an opportunity. "Alright then, you can stay. But we'll need to set some ground rules. No raiding, no stealing, and you must contribute to the safety of this forest."
The goblin king beamed. "Of course! Thank you! We won't let you down!"
With that, the goblins introduced themselves, and a new dynamic began to form among the group. As they shared stories and laughter, Aiden felt a sense of unity growing among them all.
"Who knows?" Aiden said, grinning. "Maybe we'll end up with a whole village of allies at this rate!"
Tamamo laughed. "With your charm, Aiden, it wouldn't be surprising!"
Meanwhile in a different place in the dungeon a group of knight wearing less then conventional armour enter thr dungeon Aiden was in before he left, the one leading then was a girl with Red hair and wearing a very revealing armour her whole squad was made our of Female, the girl around one reh knight some
The Female knight spoke. "Miss Maia what are we summoned ot do"
Maia looked at her knight and gave there. "We have been order to clear they dungeon"
Little that they know Aiden had already clear they dungeon
2 hourse later
Maia and her knight walked out he dungeon having multiple faces of confusion
As Maia and her squad emerged from the dungeon, the confusion on their faces was palpable. The air was thick with the remnants of battle, yet there were no monsters in sight. The eerie silence that greeted them was unsettling.
"What just happened in there?" one of the knights asked, brushing her long hair back as she looked around. "It's like… it's already been cleared."
Maia furrowed her brows, glancing back toward the entrance. "It shouldn't have been possible. We received reports of monster activity just a few days ago. The dungeon was supposed to be crawling with them."
Another knight chimed in, her eyes wide. "But we didn't see a single monster. It was almost too quiet."
Maia crossed her arms, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Who could have done this? The reports didn't mention any heroes or other parties in the area."
"Maybe it was a rival squad?" one knight suggested, but her tone lacked conviction. The way they had all seen the signs of battle—the crushed monsters and the remnants of spells—didn't point to a simple cleanup by another group.
"Let's check the perimeter," Maia ordered, her voice steady. "We need to gather information before we report back. Something doesn't feel right here."
As they fanned out, the knights discovered various signs of Aiden's presence: remnants of healing potions, scraps of armor left behind by the defeated monsters, and even a few glowing crystals that Aiden had absorbed during his journey.
"Look at this!" one knight shouted, pointing to a small clearing where Aiden had left traces of his abilities. "This isn't just a cleanup; it looks like someone was here for a while."
Maia knelt down, examining the remnants. "This magic… it's different. Stronger than anything I've seen from the monsters."
The knight beside her frowned. "You think it was a powerful creature or maybe even a rogue? Should we alert the higher-ups?"
Maia shook her head. "We need to find out more first. Let's search for any clues. There has to be a reason this dungeon was cleared so efficiently. And if it was a creature… we need to know what we're dealing with."
As they moved deeper into the area, the knights began to sense an unusual energy in the air. It was vibrant and powerful, like a force of nature—one that promised adventure and danger.
Meanwhile, Aiden and his new allies were celebrating their success, blissfully unaware of the female knights investigating the remnants of their battle. As the sun began to set, the first signs of a confrontation loomed, as Maia and her squad were determined to uncover the mystery behind the cleared dungeon and the unknown entity that had outsmarted them.
"Stay sharp, ladies," Maia said, rallying her squad. "Whatever did this is out there, and we need to be ready for anything. Let's find this intruder before they find us."
Brynn then looked at Maia them spoke. "The scary part is that he was missing from the dragon"
Maia felt a chill down her spine, Celestine had told her and her other princes knight, a creation that sent chill down everyone spike The Dragon Of Calamity Great Red, the Dragon was sield of In this Dungeon and this Neutral area
As Brynn spoke, the weight of her words hung heavily in the air. Maia turned to her, a mix of concern and determination etched across her features.
"What do you mean he was missing from the dragon?" Maia asked, her voice tense.
Brynn shivered slightly, her gaze drifting toward the dungeon entrance. "The Dragon of Calamity, Great Red, was sealed within this dungeon. If someone cleared it without any signs of battle against the dragon… it raises questions. Who could possibly have faced him or freed him without leaving a trace?"
Maia's mind raced. The stories of Great Red had been passed down through the ranks, tales of his overwhelming power and the destruction he could unleash if provoked. "If someone has managed to either defeat or evade the dragon, they must be incredibly strong—or cunning. We need to find out if they're still here."
The other knights, sensing the gravity of the situation, gathered closer. "What if they're not just powerful, but also allied with Great Red?" one of them suggested, her voice trembling slightly. "What if they're working together?"
Maia shook her head, trying to dispel the creeping dread. "No, we can't assume that. Until we have more information, we should remain vigilant and prepared for anything. If there's a powerful entity around here, we need to confront them on our terms."
Brynn nodded, a fire igniting in her eyes. "Then let's not waste any time. We need to search for any signs of the intruder or anything that might lead us to them. If they've freed the dragon, they're a threat to everyone."
The squad moved swiftly, splitting up into pairs to cover more ground. As they searched, they came across remnants of powerful magic—scorch marks on the ground, traces of energy lingering in the air, and faint echoes of Aiden's abilities. Each clue heightened their sense of urgency.
After a few minutes of searching, one of the knights called out. "Over here! I found something!"
Maia and Brynn hurried to her side, finding a small clearing surrounded by trees. In the center lay a glimmering crystal, pulsating softly with energy, its surface etched with intricate patterns.
"This looks like it was used for some kind of powerful spell," Brynn noted, inspecting it closely. "But it's been abandoned. Whoever used it is long gone."
Maia's brow furrowed. "This is too much power for just a simple dungeon. Whoever cleared it had specific intentions. We need to figure out what those intentions were."
Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the clearing, stirring the leaves and sending a chill down their spines. The atmosphere felt charged, as if the very air was waiting for something to happen.
"What was that?" one knight whispered, her eyes darting around nervously.
Maia held up a hand, signaling for silence. "Stay alert. We might not be alone here."
Just then, a low rumble echoed through the clearing, and the ground trembled slightly beneath them.
"It's coming from deeper within the dungeon!" Brynn exclaimed, her eyes wide with fear and excitement.
Maia straightened, determination flooding her veins. "We have to go. If there's someone or something down there, we can't let it escape. Ready your weapons, and follow my lead."
As they ventured further into the dungeon, the energy grew more intense, hinting at the presence of Aiden and his allies. Little did they know that the very entity they sought was closer than they imagined—forming alliances and preparing for the next phase of his adventure.
Unbeknownst to them, Aiden and his new companions were already gathering strength and plotting their next move, preparing to face whatever challenges awaited them, including Maia and her determined knights.
