Chapter 2: The Start to Greatness
Aiden woke up as he couldn't see anything. "Shit where am I....I can't see anything"
As Aiden tried to get his bearings, he felt a strange sensation coursing through his body, the kind of fluidity that only a slime could possess. Panic bubbled within him for a moment until he recalled Truth's words—Great Sage—and how he had been gifted that powerful skill.
"Great Sage, are you there?" Aiden called out, his voice echoing in the void.
Moments later, a calm, soothing voice resonated in his mind. "Yes, Aiden. I am here. You have awakened in your new form as a slime."
Aiden tried to focus on the voice, his thoughts racing. "Can you help me see? I can't see anything in this darkness."
"Processing request," Great Sage replied. "Activating Enhanced Vision."
Suddenly, the darkness faded, replaced by a glowing luminescence that illuminated his surroundings. Aiden could see now—vast expanses of shimmering blue and green, a landscape that felt both alien and familiar.
"Wow," he muttered, taking in the sight. "This is... actually kind of beautiful."
"Indeed," Great Sage replied. "You are in a world teeming with magic and potential. Your abilities as a slime grant you unique advantages here, including the capacity to absorb and adapt."
Aiden nodded, feeling a surge of confidence. "So, what's next? I mean, I don't want to just float around aimlessly. I have a world to fix."
"Your first task is to establish your identity and capabilities. You will need resources, allies, and knowledge of the local landscape," Great Sage advised. "I recommend you begin by exploring your immediate surroundings."
Aiden felt a wave of determination wash over him. "Alright, let's do this! Time to become the world's Rimuru and start making things right."
With that, he began to move, experimenting with his newfound abilities, feeling the thrill of adventure ignite within him. As he ventured forward, he knew that his journey to reshape this chaotic world had just begun.
Aiden then spoke. "So we're am I"
Aiden felt a surge of excitement as he processed Great Sage's words. "So I'm in a dungeon filled with monsters? Wow, I really am going to Rimuru this shit, aren't I?"
"Indeed," Great Sage replied, a hint of amusement in its tone. "Your circumstances are quite reminiscent of Rimuru Tempest's initial experiences."
Aiden couldn't help but chuckle. "Great. I'm basically following in the footsteps of a legendary slime. Just my luck, huh? But I need to be more than just a copycat. I have my own mission here."
"Understood. You can utilize your abilities to absorb the monsters you encounter and gain their skills," Great Sage advised. "This will not only increase your power but also provide you with valuable information about the dungeon and its inhabitants."
"Alright then, let's get this started," Aiden said, feeling a mixture of anticipation and adrenaline. "First things first: I need to scope out the area and see what I'm dealing with. Can you give me any specifics about the monsters here?"
"Analyzing now," Great Sage replied. "The dungeon contains a variety of monsters, including goblins, slimes of lesser quality, and a few magical beasts. Their strength varies, but many should be manageable for you in your current state."
"Great, but I need to be careful," Aiden said, his mind racing. "I don't want to get overwhelmed right off the bat. Let's scout around and find a suitable target first."
"Proceed with caution," Great Sage advised. "I recommend locating an isolated group of goblins for your first encounter. They are generally weaker and will provide you with an opportunity to assess your combat capabilities."
"Sounds like a plan," Aiden said, shifting his form slightly to glide silently through the dungeon. The atmosphere felt charged with potential, and he could sense the monsters nearby. He could practically taste the adventure in the air.
As he moved deeper into the dungeon, he felt a sense of purpose igniting within him. He wasn't just a slime; he was Aiden Light, and he was here to make a difference in this world—one monster at a time.
Aiden then spoke he needs to know his colour. "Hey great sage's what Colour Slime am I"
Great sages spoke in his head again. "A yellow Slime"
Aiden paused, his mind racing as he processed Great Sage's response. "A yellow slime? What does that even mean? Green slimes are acidic, red are aggressive, blue are normal, black is earth, but... yellow?" He trailed off, his thoughts drifting back to his knowledge of various games and media. "The only yellow slime I know of is from... Genshin Impact."
Great Sage responded almost immediately, as though anticipating his confusion. "Correct. The color yellow in this case denotes an affinity with electro-based energy, similar to the elemental slime in the world of Genshin Impact."
Aiden's non-existent eyes would've widened if he had them. "Wait, you're saying I have electro powers? Like, lightning and stuff?"
"Precisely. You possess an affinity for electric-based abilities, which will manifest as you grow stronger and absorb more creatures with compatible attributes," Great Sage confirmed.
Aiden's mind raced with possibilities. "Okay, okay, that's actually pretty cool. I can work with that." He let out a mental sigh of relief. "At least I won't be some weak, generic slime. I've got potential."
With this newfound knowledge, Aiden felt a renewed sense of purpose. "Alright, time to put this power to use. Let's find those goblins and see how well yellow slime Aiden can fight."
Aiden smirked, feeling a sense of control over his new reality. "Alright, Great Sage, let's make a kill-on-sight list. There are a few scumbags I want to put on there right away."
"Processing. Please name the individuals," Great Sage replied, ever efficient.
Aiden didn't hesitate. "First up, Vult. That guy and anyone working for him? They're at the top of my list. I don't care what the situation is, if I see them, they're done."
"Understood. Vult and affiliates added to the kill-on-sight list," Great Sage confirmed.
Aiden continued, his voice darkening with each name. "The Mortadella brothers—no redemption for those bastards either. Add them."
"Mortadella brothers added."
"And Pope Raymonus Lulus. The guy hides behind his title and power to exploit others. No mercy for him."
"Pope Raymonus Lulus added."
Aiden paused, feeling a simmering frustration as he recalled the atrocities these characters committed. "Great Sage, I know there are more, but let's start with them. I'll add others as I encounter them."
"Kill-on-sight list has been created. Current targets: Vult, Mortadella brothers, Pope Raymonus Lulus. You may add or remove targets at any time."
"Perfect," Aiden muttered, feeling more determined than ever. "This world's got a lot of problems, and I'm going to fix them—starting with the worst of the worst."
He knew that in this twisted world, he couldn't afford to be soft. He was reborn as a slime, but he still had his morals and sense of justice. And for those on his list, there would be no second chances.
Aiden then spoke again. "Also Grave Levantine please...I will make him and Vult suffer the most out of all the ones in my list"
Great sages spoke again. "I see tkh don't like is it because of he treated his son in the original work"
Aiden's expression hardened as he remembered Grave Levantine's cruel treatment of his son in the original story. "Exactly. Grave is the epitome of everything I despise. He had the chance to raise a good person, and instead, he chose to be a monster. Vult might be a puppet master, but Grave is the one who twisted the strings. I want him to suffer the most."
Great Sage acknowledged his anger. "Understood. Grave Levantine added to the kill-on-sight list. This appears to be a deeply personal grievance."
Aiden nodded, feeling a surge of vindication. "He may have had power, but I'm going to take it away from him, piece by piece. He won't even see it coming."
"Target confirmed. It is wise to plan your approach strategically," Great Sage advised. "You possess the ability to evolve and gain skills. Use this to your advantage."
Aiden smirked, confidence radiating from him. "I will. I'm not just going to confront these guys; I'm going to dismantle their lives. They'll regret ever crossing me."
With a renewed sense of purpose, Aiden felt the thrill of his upcoming journey. He wasn't just a slime in a dungeon anymore—he was a force to be reckoned with, and he was ready to enact his brand of justice on this world. "Let's see what this world has to offer, Great Sage. It's time to get to work."
Aiden then went to the water as then he absorbed creating water blade, as he then slide to the water and then ate all the urbs and Crystal in the cave as he started to get. All the information about the thing and started to make healing Potion as then he took done a snake and a lizard and ate them using Gluttony then a Giant Spider and a few goblins getting Rimuru skill, Adin spent the next few days clearing the Dungeon as then Aiden took down a Inferno wolf
Aiden looked at the Inferno wolf and it's pack. "I know all of you can speak so I have an offer for You Join Me".
The Inferno wolf, a majestic creature with flames licking its fur, stepped forward, eyeing Aiden with a mix of curiosity and caution. "You think we would join a slime?" it growled, its voice deep and commanding. "What could you possibly offer us?"
Aiden chuckled softly, the sound echoing in the dimly lit cavern. "I may be a slime, but I have powers and ambitions that can benefit you. You don't have to serve me, but you could work alongside me. Together, we can challenge the oppressive forces in this world and carve out our own destinies."
The pack of wolves murmured among themselves, their fiery eyes reflecting uncertainty. One of the younger wolves spoke up, "And what makes you think we would trust you? Slimes are typically weak and easily crushed."
Aiden's yellow form shimmered with determination. "I've taken down a Giant Spider and several goblins. I've survived and thrived in this dungeon by absorbing their abilities. My strength isn't what you expect. If you join me, I can help you grow stronger as well."
The leader of the pack, the Inferno wolf, regarded Aiden closely, considering his words. "Strength is important, but so is loyalty. How do we know you won't turn on us once you get what you want?"
Aiden smiled, his voice steady. "I respect strength and loyalty above all else. I won't betray those who stand by my side. My fight is against those who would oppress and harm others, like the Mortadella Brothers and Grave Levantine. If you stand with me, we can make this world a better place. No more hunters, no more fear."
The Inferno wolf tilted its head, contemplating Aiden's proposition. Finally, it spoke. "Very well, slime. We will join you, but know this: if you betray us or show weakness, we will not hesitate to strike."
Aiden nodded, relief flooding through him. "Understood. You have my word. Together, we will be unstoppable."
With that, the Inferno wolf howled, signaling its pack to rally. They approached Aiden, forming an alliance that would shake the foundations of this dark world. Aiden felt a surge of power as he absorbed the essence of the Inferno wolves, gaining new abilities and deepening his connection to his newfound allies.
"Let's head deeper into this dungeon," Aiden said, excitement bubbling within him. "We have a world to change."
Aiden then looked at the wolf. "Let me give you a name"
As the wolf eyes widents, If Aiden has mouths he would smirk, as it ment names work in the same logic in this world as it did in That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime
Aiden looked at the leader. "Your name will be Fenrir"
Aiden felt his energy going to the wolf, But also his mind set to the Leader Of the Inferno wolf
Fenrir looked at him. "I see this name is different, I have never heard of this name in that nation".
Aiden felt a surge of connection as he bestowed the name upon Fenrir. "In my country, Fenrir is a legendary wolf, a symbol of strength and loyalty. I think it suits you perfectly."
Fenrir's eyes glowed with newfound power, his stature seeming to increase slightly as he embraced his new name. "Fenrir... I like it. It carries weight. I can feel the energy you shared with me, the bond forming between us."
Aiden nodded, feeling the essence of their connection deepen. "With this name, you're not just a leader of your pack anymore; you're something greater. We're allies now, bound by purpose and strength."
The other Inferno wolves watched in awe, their leader's transformation igniting a flicker of hope within them. Fenrir turned to his pack, his voice strong and commanding. "We are no longer just wolves of this dungeon. We are Fenrir's pack, and we will follow Aiden in our quest for strength and freedom!"
The pack howled in unison, their fiery eyes reflecting determination. Aiden could feel their loyalty solidifying, and he knew they were ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
"Now that we're a team," Aiden said, his voice steady, "let's take the fight to those who oppress the innocent. There are enemies in this world that need to be confronted, and we'll do it together."
Fenrir nodded, his fur bristling with energy. "Where do we start, Aiden?"
Aiden considered their next move. "First, we need to gather intelligence about the Mortadella Brothers and Grave Levantine. They are the key players in the darkness of this world, and understanding their strengths and weaknesses will be crucial for our victory."
He glanced around the dungeon, feeling the presence of the various monsters he had defeated. "We should recruit more allies along the way. The more strength we gather, the better our chances will be."
With a determined nod, Fenrir replied, "Then let's explore the dungeon further and see who else might be willing to join our cause."
As they moved deeper into the cavern, Aiden felt a sense of purpose igniting within him. This was more than just survival; it was a chance to reshape the world and eradicate the darkness that plagued it. And with Fenrir and his pack by his side, Aiden was ready to confront the challenges ahead.
As then in a different place a woman was shown, she has purple hair, yellow eyes fair skin, she was very beautiful and very well deminde, as her eyes were closed before she opens it feeling a enegry, This woman name is Radomira
Radonura got of feeling the power, as she has a smile. "So the dragon didn't lie, my Aiden is here but....where is he".
Radomira rose gracefully from her seat, her purple hair cascading down her shoulders like a flowing waterfall. Her yellow eyes sparkled with determination and a hint of excitement. The energy she felt resonated within her, a familiar presence that ignited her hopes.
"Aiden..." she whispered, her heart racing. "He's really here."
She scanned her surroundings, taking in the opulent chamber adorned with intricate designs and soft glowing lights. Despite the luxurious setting, her mind was focused solely on finding Aiden. The warmth of his energy enveloped her, calling out to her very soul.
"But where could he be?" she pondered aloud, her brow furrowing in thought. "If he has truly been reborn in this world, I must locate him before anything happens."
Radomira closed her eyes once more, concentrating on the sensation of Aiden's energy. It felt vibrant and alive, yet there was an underlying tension—a hint of conflict. She could sense that he was not just surviving; he was forging a path, gathering strength and allies.
Opening her eyes, she decided to take action. "I need to reach him. If Aiden is truly here, I won't allow him to face this world alone."
With a flick of her wrist, Radomira summoned a glowing orb of light, the energy coalescing into a map of the surrounding area. She studied it intently, searching for any sign of his presence. The map pulsed gently, indicating a location deep within the dungeon where Aiden's energy seemed strongest.
"There!" she exclaimed, determination flooding her veins. "He's in a dungeon, probably gathering strength and allies. I must get to him before it's too late."
Without hesitation, she focused her will and stepped into a shimmering portal that materialized before her. The world around her twisted and shimmered as she traversed the space between realms, her heart set on reuniting with Aiden.
As the portal closed behind her, Radomira emerged in the depths of the dungeon. The air was thick with the scent of earth and magic, and she felt Aiden's energy pulsing nearby.
"Hold on, Aiden," she whispered, steeling herself. "I'm coming."
With determination in her heart and the knowledge that her love was fighting for a greater purpose, Radomira ventured deeper into the dungeon, ready to confront whatever awaited her.
