I Became a Malicious Streamer

Chapter 187

That was quite the strategy!

It was a way to poke at the gaming pride inside me that I hadn’t fully realized, which got my heart racing.

They understood that I care more about my gaming skills than looks or other factors, and they really dug into that.

I felt a mix of emotions. Watching my feelings change through conversations with male viewers was part of my original plan.

But those feelings turned out to be less about affection or admiration and more about pure rage.

That first participant managed to bring my heart rate up to about 117! Considering my usual resting rate hovers around 80, that’s quite the spike.

“Mollru is a coward who can’t even play horror games! Surprisingly slow for someone who looks tough! Doesn’t play brain games for fear of being found out!”

LOL

“Yep, definitely a coward…”

“Oh, our teacher just has a small gallbladder, so they get scared easily, right? They’re not really a coward or a scaredy-cat!”

“Isn’t that what a coward is?”

Hahaha

“Well, at least they did manage to clear it!”

“If they didn’t run away and cleared it, they’re kind of in the top tier among the girls!”

LMAO

There I was, watching my heart rate climb in real-time on the broadcast. Seeing that my attack was effective must’ve made me feel like a god, so I kept poking at them softly.

By the end, I was somewhat used to it and wasn’t really that angry anymore.

“Excuse me. It’s been 10 minutes now.”

“Ah, yes…”

As soon as I got the notification that 10 minutes had passed, their voice tone returned to normal. Going from that annoying whiny voice to a deep bass.

Their originally low voice seemed to carry a much more defeated tone than when we first connected. It felt like their confidence had dipped.

After hesitating for a moment, they added,

“Teacher, you know this is all a joke, right? Mollru is undeniably a top-tier gamer in Korea and can eat professional gamers for breakfast. And, um… oh, also…”

Ah, so they were worried about damage control.

“Uh… what was it you said? I’m not really good at remembering things.”

“Ah! Just think of it as a cute stupidity…”

“You said I couldn’t even play games and stuff, called me a fraud…”

“Uh, it’s fraud. Unbelievable!”

“…That was a bit funny. I’ll let it slide.”

LOL

“Are they treating that as a joke?”

“That’s so classic!”

“Just after getting battered for 10 minutes, now they’re apologizing, haha!”

“Ah, they said it was a joke!”

“If it was a joke, why make a big fuss? Are you angry right now?”

“Just getting all riled up only to become a withered prune…”

“Just a mediocre Mollbu’s average, I guess.”

It was comical how desperately they were trying to save face. Did they think I was going to eat them or something?

I had no intention of imposing temporary bans or forced exits, or any kind of private revenge.

You shouldn’t take this as a documentary in the first place! Broadcasts should be viewed as broadcasts. Even variety shows don’t last if the cast members hold grudges.

Having people like this is what keeps a broadcast alive. If everyone sticks to the same repertoire, what’s the fun in that?

One thing that did bother me was the timing. I couldn’t help but wonder how it would’ve turned out if this person had come in later instead of first.

So, the first participant left, and those that followed didn’t even attempt to pull the same nonsense they had earlier.

In a way, it was honest. They didn’t use any tricks at all. They acted just as I intended with this content.

So then,

“Do you know what my favorite thing is?”

“What is it?”

“It’s you.”

“….”

Aaaah!

Ugh, no way!

“Why do I feel like throwing up?”

“What an overly sweet line, Mollbu?”

“Did they hear something weird somewhere?”

“Actually, raising my heart rate was the point of this content…”

“Number 1 was a goddess, huh?”

“It’s hard to listen to!”

Breaking News “Mollru’s heart stopped, lol!”

“Why not try to make it funny instead?”

“Making it funny? How is that easy?”

They were trying their utmost to flirt with me. One by one, they tossed out lines they’d probably picked up somewhere, checking my reactions.

Did they really think that would work? I could only react a couple of times before running out of things to say. But still, their effort to keep trying to throw out lines was kind of endearing.

“Uh, should we talk about us?”

“Yes. Go ahead.”

“Uh… have you had lunch?”

“Yes.”

“You have… I haven’t eaten yet… W-wait, what did you have?”

Just the thought of it takes my breath away!

“Mollbu…”

“Why ask about meals? Haha!”

“Why do they seem to get worse as time goes on?”

“Number 3 Butter Man was more charming!”

“What’s so important about what you ate?”

“Fill the audio with something!”

“Cold….”

“Weren’t all the Mollbu guys supposed to be alpha males?”

“LOL, they go clubbing every Friday night and always surrounded by girls, right?”

“Why would we watch broadcasts instead of going to clubs?”

“For us, this is our club and entertainment!”

“Number 4 is like the upper 10% of Mollbu, don’t underestimate it!”

“Number 1 is definitely in the running for the win!”

There were some who genuinely enjoyed this content.

It felt like they were genuinely here just to have a conversation with me. It didn’t seem like they were hell-bent on raising my heart rate; they were just enjoying chatting with me. Though the conversation did get a bit choppy, it wasn’t too uncomfortable.

However, the content and experiment were hitting roadblocks.

Since the first anger-inducing villain appeared, there hadn’t been any noteworthy results. No one had surpassed his high score of 117.

“Hello!”

It seemed like I was hitting a stagnation period. The 7th Man, or 7beon Nam, had a different vibe than the previous participants.

“So, I originally just watched YouTube, but was curious about your live stream, so I subscribed.”

The conversation flowed smoothly. His voice had just the right pitch to feel comfortable to listen to.

The 7th Man led the chat well, showing impressive skill in engaging with women. Viewers were sensing something odd and started to feel anxious.

“Do you like water activities?”

“I don’t dislike them. It’s fun if I go out now and then.”

“I really love water and snow. So, in summer I go surfing, and in winter, I ski…”

“I’ve never been surfing. Is it fun?”

“It’s a different experience than just swimming… I went once with friends and got hooked; now I go every year.”

Why does this feel like a real date?

I’m not out of breath, but it feels awkward.

Is this what it’s like to be NTR’ed? What kind of people enjoy this?

“Mollru has never been anyone’s girlfriend…”

Breaking News “Host’s heart rate crosses 90, stable start!”

“If he’s into surfing, that’s impressive….”

“The 7th Man isn’t a Mollbu!”

“Don’t let him pass, Host!”

“The chat is absolutely buzzing!”

Turns out the 7th Man was quite charming.

He seemed perfectly at ease flirting during conversations. And the viewers were throwing a fit about it, realizing something wasn’t quite right.

“Would you like to see a video on my Instagram?”

“Um… Can we do that on stream? It might show your face.”

“Doesn’t matter!”

The 7th Man was utilizing the 10 minutes excellently. His conversation skills were quite decent.

I started to see how he was trying to flirt and gather attention. I accepted the Instagram link he shared.

“You’re handsome!”

“Oh, thank you! Mollru, you’re incredibly pretty too.”

He was tall, fit, and had a nice face. It was clear to me that he must be popular among girls.

Why is an alpha male here ruining my scene?

“Why are you both complimenting each other?”

“Seems like he dates girls in real life, why the need to steal Mollru?”

The socialites have infiltrated this place too…

In an internet broadcast meant to escape reality, they’ve stumbled upon it instead…

LOL, just caught a glimpse in the mirror, feels like a big decision to be made.

Objectively speaking, he was good-looking. I can admit that. He was confident, and it showed. The viewers recognized it well, hence their uproar.

But to me, none of that really mattered. My heart felt less moved as a result.

Breaking News “Host’s heart rate dramatically drops back into the 80s!”

“Alpha Male, out!”

LOL, Mollru says they don’t look at faces!

Mollbu’s viewers look like they’re about to cry!

Seeing the face actually makes the heart rate drop? That’s fascinating!

“Usually, you’d expect the heart rate to rise upon seeing a good looker.”

Seems like Mollru has high standards!

Right? I should’ve just not looked at the face. The banter was fun and all, but as soon as I saw the face, that discomfort kicked in.

During the chatting, I’d felt some humanity in the connection. It was more of a friendly vibe, as though we could have some fun together.

The 7th Man’s turn ended, and still, nobody had managed to break the record set by the anger-inducing villain.

Honestly, it isn’t normal for my heart to race just from someone’s voice. In that regard, it was impressive how the first man drew out that feeling of anger from me.

Then came the 8th Man, just another run-of-the-mill Mollbu. Was it safe to say the victory of the anger-inducing villain was assured?

“Hello~.”

They entered the chat room with a cheerful greeting. A high-pitched voice, but pleasant enough that it nestled in my ears.

MollSuni is here, lol!

So comfy~

That voice, wow!

Not bad for someone who could butt heads with Galju!

There must be a few female viewers around too!

The 9th Man, or rather, 9beon Nyeo, was quite bold.

“I didn’t get much sleep last night.”

“Why’s that?”

“I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking of Mollru.”

The lines they threw were somewhat similar to the 3rd Man, but I didn’t expect a female viewer to be so straightforward in flirting with me.

In a way, I felt caught off guard.

“Want to go somewhere nice and do something naughty…?”

“W-what?”

She blurted out risky comments that could’ve backfired if the Mollbu guys had tried it, without a second thought.

Had she done these kinds of lines often? She seemed quite practiced, making the back-and-forth easy. The chat was erupting with excitement.

Lesbian vibes…

“Let’s go somewhere nice and do something naughty!”

Step on me, please!

Oh wow…

Is that a voice actress? Those vocal skills are spot on!

Breaking News “Mollru’s heart rate crosses 100!”

Did Galju also have feelings for Mollru?

That’s obvious…,

Was that our MollSuni aiming for the victory?

It struck me that I had never encountered anyone so straightforward about liking me before.

In retrospect, that seemed strange. With the way society functions and the dynamics between people, it’d be hard for a girl to openly express affection for another girl.

In that respect, I was immunized against bold women. The affectionate tone was something I’d never encountered before, and my heart raced without me realizing.

“Eek…”

Was I blushing out of embarrassment or shame? I didn’t know, but my cheeks were definitely red.

Ultimately, the victory went to the 9th woman, MollSuni. Turns out, she was a fan of mine who manages an ASMR YouTube channel. No wonder her mic quality was top-notch.

The next day, rumors spread that Mollru liked women.
