chapter 21
21 – Truth always works! – One
It was time for the lecture to begin.
Moderately warm light pours in from outside the window, and there is no cloud in the sky. As a poet said, the world was shining with colorful colors.
Nevertheless, the atmosphere of the failed class was not bright.
“You are not coming today.”
“Because you are still in the infirmary.”
“If you go to visit the hospital… ”
“On the 9th floor and above, only people with healing abilities are prohibited from entering the clinic.”
“Yes, yes… who doesn’t know that… ”
With a deep sigh, each of them took out the materials on the desk and spread them out.
There was no student who had not memorized thirty pages of material by now. Everyone has perfectly memorized this material.
Of course, even if I couldn’t digest it, it was literally as perfect as memorization.
So…
“What are we going to do next? we.”
Isabelle groaned loudly.
What should I do? Only one person could provide the correct answer. When the students heard her murmur, a person came to mind.
‘Adrian.’
The period I spent with Adrian was honestly not long. So if I said I miss him so much, I would be lying.
But, nonetheless.
The absence of Adrian means that the life of a failing class is going back to the old life.
And the life before that was a life of repeating self-study without any dreams or visions.
Students knew that much. So it was hopeless.
“Something is strange.”
Michelle pursed her lips. Isabelle bites it straight away.
“what?”
“The lower class professor who died this time immediately disclosed the information. There was an article about it.”
“right?”
“Rahal Academy will not release information about Adrian. that… So… ”
Even the world’s Michelle puts her finger on her temple for a moment, as if it’s hard for her to speak this time.
“…It could mean that reporters can’t provide the information they want. All the reporters are praying that Adrian is alive right now.”
Subtle expressions spread across the faces of the other students who listened closely to Michelle and Isabel’s conversation.
As the conversation progresses to this point, the words that were implicitly stipulated not to be brought out come out.
“Then are the rumors true?”
Michelle was silent at Isabelle’s question. Isabelle asks one more time.
“Rumors that Professor Adrian is dead… Really?”
The faces of the students turn gray in an instant.
Does this mean that the learning that started at best ends here?
Of course, Adrian demanded an absurd amount of learning, and there were some students who rebelled mentally because he lived with the word ‘no’.
However, even the students who thought so completely disappeared after studying 30 pages of material.
As I studied, I was able to understand for sure.
It works because I memorize it. Naturally, I want to move on to the next progress. I want to put it into practice and apply it.
It feels like such a long time ago… No, it was the first time in my life that I felt the passion for learning. It was the first sense of accomplishment I felt and the first hope I had.
Whether Adrian is good or his learning is good, the students’ thoughts lead to the same conclusion.
‘Please be okay.’
In the classroom, where only silence reigned, the students’ hum began to rise. it never fades It soon spreads to the point of confusion.
It was a natural phenomenon since he was a student in a failing class and a student of Adrian.
“Come to think of it, the president said he would visit the failing classes today.”
“You mean something really big happened, then.”
“What should I do? Aren’t you even talking about getting rid of failing classes?”
At someone’s words, everyone groaned.
It’s a very probable story.
In the lower intermediate and upper classes, if the professor is dead, a new professor will come in. Don’t be too heartbroken. You’d think he’d come to talk about that, but he’s failing here.
What if you took this opportunity to make a decision to eliminate the failure class? Students here are forced to leave as of today.
A ‘magician from Rahal Academy’ would become an ‘unemployed wizard’ in an instant.
But then, the front door of the classroom opened.
The gossip subsides in an instant. All eyes turned to the front door.
Journalists are not allowed to enter the classrooms of the academy. In other words, it means that the president unconditionally opened it.
And is it not?
“Nice to meet you all~”
Light purple hair and a pointed hat. The rector appeared and greeted him warmly.
You can’t be vigilant just because you’re welcome. Because she always welcomes everything.
Everyone pictured the worst in their heads. And I sincerely hoped that the worst situation would not come out of the mouth of the president.
Suddenly, Violet places a black card on top of the church.
“Please, create a good environment for the failing class students.”
And isn’t that what you’re talking about? The students only blinked their eyes because they didn’t know what they were talking about.
That’s MasterCard. Violet’s Mastercard.
“Adrian said so. So I’ll put this here.”
There are many luxurious facilities in Rahal Academy, but any facility can be used freely with Violet’s Master Card.
Of course, you can’t allow female students to enter male-only facilities. Excluding that.
‘ruined.’
‘I think he really died.’
I couldn’t help but think so.
Since the professor is dead, try using this for a day or so. The faces of the students go beyond paleness and become pale.
Some even started weeping. Of course it was Charlotte.
“Mum. Everyone listens.”
Violet cleared her throat and then opened her mouth in a rather serious tone. The students even held their breath to hear her words.
“Everyone must be very curious about the condition of Adrian, the professor in charge. I fully understand how you feel~ I just want you to promise me one thing.”
All the students listened to the story without even moving. It was an unspoken affirmation that he would promise anything.
“I can’t talk to reporters. I’m fine, but the director hates the publication of articles about Rahal Academy.”
I was about to lose my neck now. The students nodded vigorously.
Violet’s unique lithe and relaxed voice is so hard to bear these days.
“First of all, Professor Adrian is alive. My life is saved.”
The students’ mouths are gaping.
Violet tilts her head at the reaction of the students who are frozen alive in the lecture room where there is no sound of breathing.
“Ohh, should I just change the professor in charge?”
I still wanted to turn Adrian into a top student professor?
But the atmosphere is not unusual. Then, suddenly, the students hit the desk.
“Professor Adrian!!! Are you alive?!!!!”
“thank god!!!!”
“thank god!!!!!!”
Cries broke out here and there, but there was not a single one that was not mingled with joy. The classroom becomes so noisy that it is hard to believe that it was quiet just a moment ago.
“Quiet, quiet~”
Violet placed her index finger on her lips. Reporters say you shouldn’t listen, these guys!
Then, float something on the blackboard in front of you with mana.
“This is a short message from Adrian to the failed class. I’ll leave this floating here~”
Violet runs out of the classroom. Everyone’s eyes turn to the words written on the blackboard.
—
I hate you.
Whether you’re worried about me or not wanting me to return, don’t you see that you’re wasting your time right now?
I’ve read all thirty pages, so it’s not a waste of time. Isn’t that what you’re trying to say?
There are another hundred pages of material in the office. learn it right away
After that, there will be a lot of data, so when you learn it, report it immediately.
When I visited the 13th floor of the clinic, the facilities were pretty good.
Those who haven’t completed their studies by the time I return can enjoy the facilities here. Seriously.
—
Now, they were students in the failing class who were cursed at in writing, but there were no students who did not welcome the curse now.
I’m glad you’re alive It’s also fortunate that the failure class is maintained.
By the way…
“One hundred pages… ? can you do this… peel?”
Isabelle tilted her head. The other students were also concerned about that part.
“Will it take a long time to complete? You must be saying to learn it by then.”
“I guess so. When you think about it that way, it makes sense.”
The students gossip.
But.
There was a student who went to church with a limp. The light green color that sneaks up from the inside of the white hair is very attractive.
Michelle Maynance.
she stood on the podium Because it was an unexpected action that could not even be imagined, the eyes of the students were focused on it.
“Listen.”
The girl’s expression was more serious than ever.
“I’ve only met people who liked me in my life so far.”
What is he trying to talk about? The students’ heads tilted slightly.
“Everyone was kind. But as much as they were kind, they wanted something from me. That’s right. Because no one is kind without wanting.”
I bet it is.
Who would be unkind to a girl who might become the head of the Maynance family?
“By the way, what about Professor Adrian? every day we… . No, I’m telling you no.”
The word us was still too difficult for Michelle. The girl stutters a little.
“The professor wants nothing from us. So not friendly either. However.”
Even Michelle couldn’t figure out why she was doing this.
All I had to say to the failing class was to say goodbye. It was amazing to see myself continuing to speak.
“Kindness and helpfulness are two different things. That professor is more helpful than anyone else. I am thoroughly dedicated to helping the students in this classroom. Even devoting your body.”
No student thought Michelle was wrong.
But still, a hundred pages… Even memorizing thirty pages, my head exploded and I almost died.
Whoa, the girl sighed.
“I don’t know what the demons said to me.”
The students’ eyes sparkled.
And then it was. Isn’t Michelle’s group the one who survived the encounter with the demons they had only heard about?
“When you kill humans, they say they are empty. It’s so empty that it’s disgusting. I will do anything, so please beg me to save you.”
Michelle raises her voice even more to the students who look blank.
“You just have to choose. Will I learn a hundred more pages and survive, or will I just pray and die?”
The faces of students who seemed to have felt something big.
“Hey. I hate to say the same thing as that professor, but I hate you guys too.”
Looking at those faces, Michelle raised the corner of her mouth very slightly.
“So let’s say goodbye as soon as possible. However, even if we say goodbye, let’s not die like a fool by running into demons. Let’s not be stupid in front of the other guys.”
He uses his telekinesis to lift the Master Card. I shove it into the gap between the ceilings. so no one can take it.
“What do you need this card for? A student ID is enough.”
bang-!
bang-!
Michelle snaps her fingers and opens the classroom’s front door, back door, and even the window.
“If you don’t like it, get out. won’t catch on We hate each other.”
However, no students got up from their seats.
no one.
The faces of the students seemed impressed as if they were overwhelmed by something. An unusual morning star was shining in their eyes.
“But if you’re going to do it, let’s show it properly from this side as well.”
That moment when the most pleasant breeze blows through the open door and window.
“How much we hate that professor.”
The pupils’ eyes burn.
