Chapter 109: Crazy Revenge

Setsuna, who had received a request from Madara, had been searching for clues based on the ninjutsu the attackers were using.

The first village on his list was Takigakure because one of the attackers was Kakuzu. As a transmigrator, it would be shameful if he didn't recognize such a popular character, especially one who boasted about fighting Hashirama in the past.

His second lead was the type of ninjutsu used by the attackers. Most of their techniques were water release jutsu, which are commonly used in Takigakure as well.

The final confirmation came when he received a report that the Takikage had visited the Daimyo's castle after Nezuko's funeral.

There were also rumors that the Fire Daimyo had issued a mission to kill both Madara and Hashirama.

Looking over all of this information, Setsuna felt dumbfounded. His first question was why this Daimyo was so foolish. Hashirama was the one who had changed the ninja world from clan-based conflicts to the formation of large villages, while still allowing Daimyo to retain their power. He maintained the balance between the shinobi and civilians.

"System, I want to ask you something," said Setsuna.

"Yes, Host. What's your question?" replied the System, sounding cheerful. Lately, it had been happy because Setsuna no longer held back from having children. Even though it had slowed to one person every two years, this was still progress compared to Setsuna's behavior four years ago.

"What do you think about the Fire Daimyo?" asked Setsuna.

"According to the data and analysis, the Fire Daimyo might be doing this because, compared to the Warring States era, their power has been reduced."

"Reduced?" Setsuna questioned. "Didn't forming a village make their power bigger and more stable?"

"Yes and no," answered the System. "Yes, the economy became more stable, and people finally achieved peace. But at the same time, their control over the clans has diminished compared to before."

"Do you mean like the Chinoike Clan?" asked Setsuna.

"Correct, Host. In the Warring States era, they could eliminate clans they despised, but in this new era, if they tried something like that, Hashirama might take away their power," the System explained.

"I see. So, in your conclusion, what benefit do they gain by killing Madara? I mean, by killing Kazuha and Nezuko?" asked Setsuna.

"I don't know," replied the System. Suddenly, Jarvis cut in, "Sir Setsuna, based on data and analysis from 700 chapters of Naruto, the probability of Izuna and Madara rebelling is as high as 90%. But now, with Kazuha still alive, the chance has dropped to 60%."

"What? Do you mean the Daimyo's intention is to push Madara to rebel against Hashirama?" asked Setsuna for confirmation.

"Correct. There's a 95% chance this would benefit the Daimyo. By weakening Konoha, they can regain some of their lost power," replied Jarvis.

"Host, I think Jarvis is right," added the System.

"But they've forgotten something—their power is actually maintained by Hashirama. Now that I know the real culprit, I won't hold back against them," said Setsuna.

He decided to inform Izuna and Madara about the Daimyo, but as for Takikage, he planned to deal with it himself. He didn't want to see innocent people in Takigakure suffer because of an incompetent Takikage.

---Madara And Izuna Visit---

After two months following the funeral, Madara and Izuna decided to travel to Uzushiogakure to visit Setsuna.

This time, they brought Kazuha and Tanjiro with them, not wanting a repeat of what happened to Nezuko.

Although Nezuko felt sad about leaving her home, she quickly adapted. Setsuna had many children, most of whom were girls around Kazuha's age, and they played well together.

Karina, Karin, Izumi, Kaede, Sakura, Himari, and Akiha quickly became new sisters to Kazuha, and they played happily. She also gained new brothers: Raiha, Tatsuki, Neji, and Hizashi.

Izuna observed his daughter finally smiling after their arrival. Even though there were people like Tsunade and other clan members in Konoha, Kazuha had been traumatized after witnessing her mother's death. Moving to a new place seemed to bring her happiness again, though she still missed her mother, Nezuko.

"How is the investigation going?" Izuna asked, with Madara nodding in agreement, eager to find out who was behind it all.

"Here, this is the result of the investigation," Setsuna said, handing Izuna the scroll.

Izuna took the scroll and read the detail of the investigation, his face frowned and Setsuna could see the burning anger on his eyes. After reading it, he passed the scroll to his brother and Madara also did the same thing, he become angry upon reading the scroll.

"Why?" muttered Madara. "Why would the Daimyo target me?"

"Setsuna, do you know anything about this?" asked Izuna.

Setsuna nodded. "The reason they put a bounty on your head, Madara, is because the formation of villages like Konoha weakened their power."

This statement caught Madara and Izuna's full attention. They leaned in, listening carefully.

"Do you remember the Chinoike Clan?" Setsuna asked.

"Of course," replied Madara.

"Before Konoha was formed, the Daimyo had the power to wipe out any clan they disliked. Take the Chinoike Clan, for example. The late wife of the Daimyo had them exiled to the Valley of Hell," Setsuna explained.

Madara and Izuna were visibly stunned, especially Madara, who recalled how the Chinoike Clan had looked when they were cast out.

"But now, with villages like Konoha, other nations are following our lead. If the Daimyo tried something similar now, what do you think would happen? Would the Hokage eliminate a clan within Konoha just because the Daimyo orders it?" Setsuna asked.

"No," Izuna replied, shaking his head.

"Exactly. The Daimyo's power is threatened because villages like Konoha provide protection and stability that undermines their control," Setsuna said.

Izuna clenched his fists, trembling with rage. His wife had been murdered due to the Daimyo's power struggles. He stood up, ready to storm off and confront the Daimyo, but Setsuna stopped him just in time.

"Izuna, stop. Listen to me first," said Setsuna, his voice firm.

"What do you want to say?" Izuna asked impatiently.

"Killing the Daimyo will only plunge the world into chaos. Who will rule the civilians after you kill him?" Setsuna questioned.

"I don't care about them. The one who killed my wife deserves to feel despair," Izuna responded, preparing to leave and confront the Fire Daimyo.

"I knew you'd say that, which is why I've already prepared people to govern the civilians," said Setsuna calmly.

Hearing this, both Izuna and Madara felt a surge of relief. At least their revenge wouldn't cause unnecessary chaos for innocent people.

"Setsuna, I'll leave my child here for a while," Izuna said.

"That's fine. My wife will take care of her," Setsuna replied.

Izuna then embraced his daughter, leaving a shadow clone behind to accompany Kazuha. While Izuna and Madara went to confront the Daimyo, Setsuna headed toward Takigakure, disguising himself as Uchiha Madara to avoid being branded as a rogue shinobi.
