Chapter 37: Chapter 37 Why am I an angel
Excalibur - The Sword Of Promised Victory
Sullivan conjured a sword that looked like an Excalibur from Fate series. Even though it looked the same, the power was not.
His Excalibur of course was the fake one. It only had the power of light and that's all. It was not even sharp.
Sullivan shook his head before dispeling it.
It was a pipe dream If he thought he could make such a sword with a spell.
"At least It is better than props."
Sullivan had many ideas to use holy elements with his power. but the more ideas he had the more he felt depressed as the test went on.
Fake…everything is fake.
"Maybe I am not powerful enough"
Sullivan stopped testing his magical aspects. It wasn't worth his time.
Now he starts to test his physical aspect.
He slowly folded his wings and it disappeared into his back.
He wanted to know the difference between hiding it and not using it.
He got the result.
"It's still working, I don't need to show my wings to get a power boost."
Sullivan then tested spreading and folding his wings. his wings fade in and fade out through his cloth. He didn't need to wear clothes that needed holes for his wings.
"All is good then next"
Sullivan wanted to test his muscle strength. Before he got power up he could only lift a dumbbell around 20 pound. but now
He could lift his bed with one hand easily like he was lifting a cotton candy. His bed weighs around 150 to 200 pound.
"I need to be careful otherwise someone might get hurt."
Sullivan couldn't help but think if he was not careful enough and broke Luna an arm or a leg.
"Well, just use skele-gro. problem solved…"
Sullivan after that, stopped using his angel power. His power turned back to normal but He could feel it was growing.
He found a method to improve himself while being lazy.
"Lazy…Isn't laziness a sin? Why am I an angel then?"
He could only shrug.
Sullivan then walked out of his room before joining Luna in the kitchen. She was eating cereal.
and when she saw him she had a dreamy smile.
Sullivan who saw her being like that. speak with haste
"Do not spoil anything I want to watch this weekend."
He warned her.
"Sure…"
Sullivan continued eating his cereal while turning on the TV. He wanted to know more about what was going on in his world nowadays.
Tony Stark has invented new weapons for the Military and will showcase his weapon three month from now.
Spiderman stops a bank robbery yesterday with no casualty.
etc.
"There is so much going on…"
Sullivan seriously studies the news. There's a lot of news about supernatural things happening. He hoped it wasn't the work of the mutants.
"Sol, Can I speak with you? I need to tell you. but I promise it will not spoil you anything. Because you will not have the time to watch it."
"What do you mean?"
Luna hesitated a bit before telling him what she saw in the future.
"You will not come back home this weekend and I don't know what will happen to you because I didn't go there with you since you will cast powerful wards to ward off Nargles and Wrackspurts. I chose to stay at home to watch movies and eat snacks."
Luna felt guilty that she couldn't tell him what would happen because she didn't go with him. her seer power worked in mysterious ways even herself doesn't know.
Sullivan heard what Luna said. He didn't have a change of expression like he already knew it.
"You knew."
"Yes, more or less."
Sullivan was not the sharpest tool in the shed. But he still felt something was off when He check the blockage inside Jean's mind but didn't point it out. He wasn't sure what would happen if he told Jean the truth.
His instinct told him that he shouldn't. and he trusted it.
"You don't need to feel guilty over this matter. I will plan something."
Sullivan finished his cereal then went back inside his room to do more research about his power and make some plans.
He needed a powerful counter attack for someone who could read minds just for safety measures. He forgave Jean because She didn't mean it and she couldn't read his mind because of occlumency. But his occlumency was only at basic level if he met an expert telepath his occlumency will not be enough.
