Chapter 26: Chapter 26 Talk with Miles [Edited]
"You knew…"
Miles looked at Sullivan. He was sitting on the sofa in the living room with an uneasy expression. He was just a kid with superhuman strength and spider sense. He didn't know what Sullivan would do with the knowledge that he was a spiderman.
He waited for Sullivan to answer him. Since when did he know that he was Spider-Man? And what did he want with him?
Sullivan thought a little bit before he answered.
"I knew that you were a spiderman since we met today. I didn't really think you would be the Spider-Man that helped me at the convenience store. and you can rest assured I won't do anything to you."
Miles heard what Sullivan said. He couldn't help but ask.
"How can you be so sure that I am the Spider-Man?"
"spiderman two? Oh, right, my cousin is number one. That guy really does a good job out there, doesn't he? Anyway, to answer your question, It was because of this."
Sullivan went near him and touched him on the shoulder before grabbing something. In his hand was a little purple octopus, but no one could see it if he didn't want to.
Its look was really ugly and disgusting.
"Oh Sh*t!! What the hell is that?"
Miles was spooked by what was on his shoulder all the time.
"An octopus… A magical one"
Sullivan answered easily. Before dispelling it with a puff.
Miles controlled himself before taking a deep breath. He looked at Sullivan confusingly. What this magical octopus had to do with him knowing he was a spiderman
"You are too slow in this regard, dude. I can use magic, and this octopus was the one I cast on Spider-Man this morning. This octopus will give me information about his location. And it stayed with you this morning. That means you are Spider-Man. That wasn't too hard to figure out, right?"
Miles was stunted a little bit before he understood everything. and there was something that surprised him even more.
He is a wizard!
"Are you doubting me?"
"Well, no, I am not."
"You are a bad liar, Miles, and if you don't believe me, watch this."
Sullivan transfigured a glass into Miles's version of Spider-Man.
"That's amazing"
Miles looked at his figure in amazement. He believed that Sullivan was an actual wizard now.
"Okay, now let me get to the point for the actual reason why I asked you to come here. It was about you being Spider-Man. I want to know how you turn into Spider-Man. Did you get exposed to any radiation or are you being experimented on?"
Sullivan really wanted to know how Miles was turned into a spiderman. Peter didn't tell him anything. He always avoided telling him about it and always said that it was for his safety.
Miles thought about it for a bit. Sullivan was a wizard. There was no reason for him to keep it a secret.
Sullivan helped him when everyone just ignored him. This little secret he was willing to tell him
"I was bitten by a spider. Do you want to see its carcass? I have stored it in a box and placed it in my room."
"By all means, friend."
Miles then went out of his room before going back home to get the spider carcass for him. His house wasn't that far; it was only five minutes walk.
Sullivan was very excited now. Maybe he could become Spider-Man too.
He needed to consult Hermione on this matter. He knew that she would be able to help him, for sure.
And when he wants to go text Hermione inside his room,
A wild pokemon had appeared.
"Hey, don't forget about me, mister."
Jean spoke to Sullivan when she saw that he was walking to his room.
"Oh right, I almost forgot. So what are you going to do next?"
Sullivan went back to sitting on the sofa.
"I will go to Xavier's Academy for gifted youngsters this weekend to ask the professor to remove the blockages."
"Okay"
"And you will come with me."
"No. I have something very important to do this weekend."
"He will watch the latest episode of One Piece and rewatch Naruto and Hunter x Hunter. After that, he will play Final Fantasy XV, which he just bought, and do gacha while eating snacks with no salt flavor."
"Luna…"
Jean looked at Sullivan. She feels very depressed. He chose anime and games over a hot girl like her.
Looked at her pitiful appearance. He knew she wasn't faking it now.
He didn't know why, when he saw women sad or depressed, his inner self would tell him to comfort them. He couldn't help it.
"I will come with you, okay?" "Are you satisfied now?"
"Yes, very much. You are actually a good boy. From now on, we will be besties."
Sullivan only shook his head before going to do his business.
