I Am The Game's Villain

Chapter 524: [Event] [Elven Utopian War] [63] Final Battle Against Navas

"Ughnn…" Alicia let out a soft groan as my teeth sank into her neck.

The taste of her blood was unfamiliar, different than Elizabeth's. I focused solely on drawing her blood, clumsy and unsure, but did it anyway. The searing headache and the unbearable pain from losing my arm began to fade a bit.

This shouldn't have been possible. Humans couldn't regenerate like this. Only vampires—and perhaps the Blood Elves—could achieve such feats. Yet here I was doing it.

But there was a reason for it.

James Raven had trained me in the ways of vampires for weeks, teaching me the art of survival through blood as well. He'd even shared the secrets of the Raven Arts, allowing me to mimic vampiric abilities. Not a true vampire, but enough to endure, enough to recover.

"S—Stop… umnn…" Alicia muttered softly, her hands weakly pushing at my chest.

I knew exactly what she was feeling. I had felt it myself when Elizabeth's fangs had pierced my neck, drinking deeply of my essence. It wasn't just pain—it was a deep loss of control, a sensation that invited the darkness within to surface. For Alicia, experiencing this for the first time, it must have been terrifying. I hated putting her through this, but I had no other choice.

When I'd taken enough, I released her, stepping back reluctantly.

Alicia staggered to her feet, but her legs gave out beneath her, sending her back to the ground. Her cheeks were flushed a deep red, her breaths coming in ragged gasps as she clutched at her neck, her crimson eyes glowing.

"Un… ah… ah…" She whimpered, trying to compose herself.

I stood there, awkward and guilt-ridden, clutching my bleeding shoulder. Words of apology sat heavy on my tongue, but there wasn't time to say them. I turned away, dragging my battered body toward my severed arm.

I crouched down, trembling, and picked it up, pressing it against the jagged stump at my shoulder.

Closing my eyes, I reached out to Fate, my mind echoing with Nevia's words.

"As long as your heart still beats, you can undo even death by rewriting your own Fate."

With a deep breath, I summoned Fate. White particles, like grains of sand caught in an invisible breeze, began to swirl around me. They moved, seeping into the thin line where my arm met the rest of my body. The sensation was strange—both soothing and excruciating—as the particles worked to reattach flesh, bone, and sinew.

"Ugh…" I groaned, my teeth gritted against the pain.

But it was working. The connection between my arm and shoulder grew stronger, the once-severed limb started becoming whole again.

Gasping for breath, I leaned against the jagged rock, my chest heaving as I tried to steady myself. My weary eyes tracked Navas as he charged toward the colossal gazelle.

"Come at me, Reiner!" Navas roared, a smirk curling on his lips.

Reiner stood there a little out of breath. With a swift motion, he extended his hand, summoning another 8-Layered emerald-green mana circle.

The gazelle lowered its head ever so slightly. The swirling sphere of water at its horns, infused with potent mana, stabilized, glowing with a deadly brilliance.

For a brief moment everything stilled.

Then—

-BOOOOOM!

The water sphere erupted into a concentrated torrent, a piercing stream of water barreling straight toward Navas.

Eyes wide, Navas barely managed to raise his massive axe in defense.

-BAM!

The force of the beam clashed against his weapon, driving him back. His boots scraped across the earth, leaving deep gouges, but the stream showed no signs of stopping.

The ground trembled under the assault, debris flying everywhere.

"Urgh!!"

Navas gritted his teeth, his muscles straining as he tried to withstand the force. Then he heard it—the pounding of hooves against the earth. His gaze shot upward, and dread flooded his face.

The gazelle was charging straight at him.

He tried to move, but the stream of water pinned him in place. The gazelle's horns glinted as they tore through the stream of water, striking him square in the chest.

"ARGHHH!" Navas's scream ripped through the battlefield as the horns pierced his body. Blood spurted from the wound, painting the gazelle's watery horns in blood. The force of the blow sent him hurtling through the air like a ragdoll, crashing into the ground with a deafening thud. His body tore through the field, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

-BOOOM!!

Dust and debris settled slowly, and I squinted through the haze, my heart pounding.

Did that take him down?

Reaching into my pouch, I fumbled for another vial, my hands trembling. I had already taken three already—it wasn't safe to take another—but my body screamed for relief. My chest felt tight, my limbs heavy. Without hesitation, I downed the contents, the bitter taste burning my throat. Tossing the empty vial aside, I turned my gaze toward Navas's last position.

But he was gone.

"Where…?" I muttered looking around

Then I saw him.

"Hey! Reiner, behind you—!"

Reiner's eyes widened, but he reacted instantly, spinning around and swinging his blade in a sharp arc. It was too late.

-BAM!

With a single, brutal swing of his axe, Navas cleaved through Reiner's sword as if it were made of paper.

Reiner staggered back, stunned, but Navas gave him no time to recover. A powerful kick to the stomach sent Reiner flying backward, his body colliding with the ground.

That damn monster.

I stared at Navas, my throat dry. His body was battered—one of his horns was shattered, and a deep, bleeding gash ran across his stomach. Blood dripped from his lips, but his life hadn't faded. If anything, the wounds only seemed to make him more alive and well.

I turned to Celeste. She was on her knees, gasping for air, her face pale and drenched with sweat. She looked utterly drained.

I extended my hand, summoning Trinity Nihil and gripped the hilt tightly. My eyes locked on Navas, who stood several meters away, his chest heaving with labored breaths, blood dripping from his torn form.

"A–Amael… No," Celeste's weak voice called me. She struggled to stand, her trembling arms pushing against the ground, but she collapsed to her knees right after. She was worried. She didn't want me to fight in my condition.

But I couldn't turn back.

My breathing was ragged but strained as I focused on the task ahead. Tightening my grip on Trinity Nihil, I summoned Vysindra's Fire, its blazing purple flames engulfing the weapon. It wasn't a perfect match but I forced them to coexist.

Step by step, I quickened my pace, breaking into a run.

Navas, seeing me arriving, raised his massive axe high before he brought it down with frightening force.

-BOOM!

The impact tore through the earth, leaving a deep scar in the ground. I barely dodged the strike, using the burst of momentum to propel myself forward. Summoning Samara's Arms then I closed the gap.

-BAM!

Both Trinity Nihil and the flat of Navas' axe collided with a deafening crash, sending out a violent shockwave of fire and mana that rippled around.

I narrowed my eyes, summoning Wrath. Purple particles began to swirl and shimmer around Trinity Nihil, their glow pulsating. A split second later, an invisible force blasted Navas backward. His expression twisted into one of shock, as he raised his gaze.

It didn't make sense—he was in far worse shape than I was, yet by all accounts, he should still have been able to overpower me. But I had Wrath.

"W–What...?" Navas' gaze dropped to his chest, where the once-glowing layer of Prana that had protected him now flickered weakly. The area grazed by Wrath was completely drained, leaving him exposed.

Not wasting a moment, I charged at him again, swinging Trinity Nihil with all the strength I could muster. Navas raised his axe instinctively, but hesitation flashed in his eyes. Instead of blocking, he shifted his footing and sidestepped at the last second.

My blade cut through empty air, the force of my missed strike pulling me forward. I stumbled awkwardly, my knees nearly buckling under the weight of my exhaustion. I barely regained my footing when Navas took advantage of the opening, bringing his axe down in a down deadly swing.

-BOOOOM!

For a moment, it seemed as though my body had been cleaved in two. But instead of blood and bone, my form dissolved into a cascade of white sand, the particles swirling away before reforming behind him.

"...!"

Navas' eyes widened in alarm, but he had no time to react. I swung Trinity Nihil again, its blade whistling through the air. He managed to block just in time, his axe absorbing the brunt of the impact.

"What are you doing?" Navas growled confused. He narrowed his eyes, noticing his once-powerful bestial form beginning to dissipate.

Exhaustion?

No, he clearly didn't think this was merely fatigue—it was something far worse.

"Just die," I spat, unable to hide my irritation. My body surged with Vysindra's Fire.

Navas retaliated immediately, summoning a torrent of water to push me back. The liquid force surged toward me, but I slashed through it with Trinity Nihil, cutting it apart.

Beyond the parted waters, I caught sight of Navas. His axe was already raised high, his form radiating with Prana as he swung it down toward me once more.

-BOOOOM!

Once again, my body seemed to be split in two.

"You won't get me again with this!" Navas roared, turning sharply. This time, he swung his glowing axe behind him, aiming where he assumed my true form would appear.

And indeed I was there but…

-BOOOOM!

I caught the blade of his axe with my bare left hand.

"W–What?!" Navas stared in disbelief at my left hand gripping the blade of his axe. Purple particles from Wrath pulsed through my hand, glowing ominously, and I could feel the heat of its raw energy coursing through my veins. The blade, once radiating with his Prana and mana, now felt utterly trivial—a mere piece of steel stripped of its might.

Realizing the danger, Navas' instincts kicked in. He let go of the axe, leaping backward in an attempt to create distance between us. But I wasn't done.

Without hesitation, I hurled the axe aside, the weapon clattering uselessly to the ground. Raising my hand, I spoke a single word.

"Reflect."

-BAM!

Navas' body collided with a shimmering mirror that had materialized behind him, its surface rippling with Wrath. The impact sent him stumbling forward, his expression contorted in pain. His back, once shielded by a protective layer of Prana, was now bare, completely drained or destroyed by the mirror's touch.

"What are—" He raised his gaze, searching for me but I wasn't there anymore.

-Spurt!

"U–Urgh..."

Navas froze, his breath freezing as he looked down at the gleaming white blade of Trinity Nihil protruding from his stomach. Blood gushed from the already mangled wound, soaking his tattered clothing. His trembling hands reached toward the weapon, but it was futile.

He managed to glance over his shoulder, and his eyes locked onto me as I stepped out of the mirror's surface.

A simple trick. Basic, even. But I had never revealed that aspect of the mirror's ability until now. And in his exhausted state, it had caught him completely off guard.

Twisting Trinity Nihil within his body, I unleashed Wrath into him without mercy. Purple veins spread through his form, wreaking havoc on every part of him.

"Gaarghhh!!"

Navas screamed in agony as his Prana shattered into glowing particles, dissipating into nothingness. Your next journey awaits at My Virtual Library Empire

The toll on my body was immediate. Blood trickled from my nose and mouth, and I could feel the searing strain in my chest. But I pressed on, my grip on Trinity Nihil only hardening.

He had to die.

"...!"

Navas' body convulsed violently, his legs giving out as he collapsed to his knees. His gasps grew shallow, his strength waning with each passing moment.

A faint smirk curled my lips as I watched him writhe in pain.

Before he could recover, I swung Trinity Nihil one final time.

-Spurt!

His head flew cleanly from his shoulders, leaving a perfect arc of blood in its wake. It tumbled to the ground with a sickening roll, finally coming to rest in the dirt.

In the distance, I noticed Reiner, his expression twisted in pain as he took in the scene. Alicia stood beside him, her face inscrutable as she adjusted the collar of her dress, concealing the freshly-bitten wound on her neck.

For a moment, I simply stood there, staring down at Navas' severed head calmly. Then, a sharp sweetness rose in my throat, and I clutched my mouth as a violent cough came out.

"Aghhh!" Blood spilled from my lips, staining my hand and the ground beneath me. My legs gave way, and I crumpled to my knees, struggling to catch my breath.

"A–Amael..."

Celeste approached me awkwardly, clutching her arm. She dropped to her knees in front of me.

"...Are you okay?" She asked worriedly. Whether it was because of my battered state or my previous state using Wrath, I didn't know.

I gasped for air, my breaths coming in labored bursts. Finally, I managed to speak.

"Yeah..."

My gaze shifted to Navas' lifeless body one last time.

"Navas Dolphis is dead."
