This way, Gwen can also gain superpowers.
After school, Gwen planned to go to the library to study, and Jaxon followed her.
"Gwen, let's go to the library together?"
"Okay, I just have some questions for you."
"No problem."
During this time, Jaxon drank coffee with Mary Jane, watched Betty dance, and studied with Gwen.
Gwen also discovered that although Jaxon looked lazy and didn't study hard, he was actually a genius.
There were some topics she didn't understand, but Jaxon could easily explain them to her.
Jaxon was sunny, handsome, had a good character, and was very knowledgeable. Gwen was already attracted to him.
All Jaxon needed was an opportunity and a confession to win Gwen over.
The two studied in the library until it got dark.
"It's getting late. I have to go home."
"Let's go together."
The two left the library and school together, preparing to go home.
Jaxon and Gwen parted at the school gate, but they both felt something was off.
It seemed that someone was secretly watching them.
'The SHIELD people have already evacuated. Who else is spying on me?'
'Could it be Hydra?'
Jaxon was not afraid and said goodbye to Gwen as usual.
"Goodnight, Gwen."
"See you tomorrow."
Jaxon watched Gwen leave and noticed that the feeling had disappeared.
"What's the meaning of that?"
Jaxon didn't think much of it and prepared to head home.
Along the way, he pondered the sensation brought on by the "danger warning," and his pace slowed considerably.
"Something seems wrong, but I can't figure out what it is."
"Hey, if I had Superman's super hearing and super vision, this wouldn't be a problem."
"If someone is secretly spying on me, I'd be able to spot them easily."
"Forget it. Don't overthink it; just go home."
As Jaxon walked a bit further, he suddenly thought of a possibility.
Thinking of this made him feel uneasy.
"Could it be that the person wasn't spying on me, but Gwen?"
Jaxon hurriedly turned around and jogged back to the school gate, but he didn't sense anything amiss.
Then he continued to chase after Gwen.
Jaxon didn't dare to run faster; he just maintained a normal pace.
He took out his cell phone, ready to contact Gwen.
Gwen was walking home, wearing headphones and listening to music, when she suddenly received a call from Jaxon.
"Hey, Jax, what's up?"
"Gwen, are you okay?"
Gwen was a bit puzzled and didn't understand why Jaxon was asking that.
"I'm fine. What's the problem?"
"You should be on your way home now. Where are you? Did you notice anyone following you?"
Gwen was slightly incredulous, "What? Jax, what do you mean?"
"I suspect you might be followed. You'd better be careful."
Gwen was still a bit skeptical, but soon she sensed something was off.
As the daughter of George, Gwen knew a little about reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance techniques.
At that moment, looking around, she realized the gravity of the situation.
"Jax, I think you might be right. I might be being followed."
Jaxon felt a surge of anxiety, "Gwen, tell me where you are. I'll come to rescue you immediately."
Gwen felt touched by Jaxon's words, but she worried that he would get involved and put himself in danger.
In Gwen's opinion, although Jaxon could defeat Flash, that was limited to fighting.
These people were here to cause trouble, and they might have weapons. Jaxon was someone she thought he couldn't handle.
"No, Jax, you'll be in danger too. I'll contact my dad. He's a captain in police; he'll come to rescue me soon."
"Gwen, believe me, I am actually the Black Spiderman. Just tell me where you are, and I'll be right there."
Gwen couldn't believe it, 'A superhero is my classmate?'
"Jax, you're not lying to me, are you?"
"Of course not. Just tell me where you are, and buy some time. I'll be there soon."
"Okay."
Jaxon got Gwen's approximate location, then found a corner, transformed immediately, and swung around the city.
At least after becoming Black Spiderman, he could move faster.
---
On the other hand, Gwen tried every way to stall for time.
Her unusual behavior was noticed by the gangsters.
The criminals immediately decided not to continue tracking and instead take direct action.
Gwen could only run while trying to contact her father.
But the call didn't go through.
At this moment, Gwen wasn't panicking because the call failed. She just kept running.
In terms of psychological resilience, Gwen was doing well.
However, the number of gangsters was more than she had expected.
Blocked from both sides, Gwen had nowhere to escape. She could only run into a dark alley and pray that Jaxon would arrive soon.
"Here!"
"She has nowhere to run."
"Damn it, this girl is really good at running. It took us so long."
"Stop talking nonsense and take her away quickly."
Gwen stepped back cautiously, "Who are you? Why are you trying to kidnap me?"
The gangsters didn't answer, but approached quickly, ready to take Gwen by force.
"Help!"
"Help!"
One of the gangsters barked orders, "Catch her and don't let her make a sound. And don't hurt her; she's very important."
"Yes."
Gwen probably guessed that these people must know her identity, which was why they were doing this.
In other words, these people had come for her father, Captain George.
Gwen shouted for help, hoping Jaxon could hear her.
At that moment, seeing the criminals close in, she could only keep stalling for time, "Are you sure you want to do this? Aren't you afraid of Black Spiderman?"
The gangsters chuckled, "Black Spiderman? A spider? Why would someone be called that?"
Just when the gangsters were about to complete their mission and were relaxing, a sound echoed from above.
"Maybe you don't know, but I'm called that because I specialize in picking up garbage like you."
"Now, I'm going to put some dust in your eyes!"
Jaxon's sudden appearance shocked all the gangsters.
Even if they didn't pay much attention to the news, they had heard the names of Daredevil and Black Spiderman.
Now, seeing Jaxon appear and looking at the dark figure in front of them reflecting cold light, everyone felt a chill.
"What the hell is this?"
"Black Spiderman?"
"Whatever he is, can he block bullets?"
Without saying a word, one of the gangsters pulled out his pistol and emptied the magazine.
Jaxon's symbiote suit condensed into a shield directly in front of him, protecting both himself and Gwen.
The criminals quickly realized something was wrong. This man could actually block bullets.
"Monster, he's a monster!"
"We can't defeat this monster."
"Boss, what should we do? Should we retreat?"
Seeing that bullets were ineffective against Jaxon, the gangsters immediately began to retreat.
They wanted to escape, but Jaxon wouldn't let them.
His body moved, and Jaxon dashed forward with such speed that the others couldn't react at all.
The symbiote suit also began to change, extending many tentacle-like appendages to assist in the attack.
Under the cover of night, Jaxon became a ghost!
The evil spirit dove into the crowd, and soon howls of pain echoed through the alley.
In just a matter of seconds, all the gangsters fell.
The symbiote retracted completely, transforming back into clothing.
The criminals were terrified, having been overwhelmed by the suit that made Jaxon look like an evil spirit.
Of course, Jaxon wouldn't let these criminals off easily. He acted swiftly and efficiently, incapacitating them, leaving them unable to resist or escape.
"Tell me, who sent you here?"
These men were just moaning, but no one answered Jaxon's question.
"You're a demon; you're not human!"
"Don't come any closer!"
"I don't know! I don't know anything!"
Jaxon looked at the frightened criminals and had no intention of letting them go.
He approached one of them and squatted down.
He stretched out his finger, and the symbiote suit transformed into a small insect, crawling towards the man.
