I am an Alien in another reality.

Chapter 37: Sacred Wands, and World Creation

Late at night in his study, Alex clasped his palms together, focusing his thoughts on Laurelin, the Gold Tree of Valinor.

Tapping into his vast knowledge from Eru Ilúvatar and the energy he wielded, he channeled primordial energy into his hands.

Slowly, as he separated his palms, a sapling began to form. It glowed with golden light, illuminating the study.

The sapling grew to about fourteen inches before Alex stopped channeling energy.

Lily's voice broke the silence in his mind. [That's... amazing, Alex! Look at that glow! You should make more of these and plant them in Mín Heimr.]

Alex smirked. "That's an idea, but having too many might disrupt the balance. These trees are sacred. I'll need to think carefully about where to place them."

[Oh, come on! Imagine an entire grove of these glowing trees! It would be breathtaking!]

"It would, but these trees carry immense power, Lily. When fully grown, they could light up the land like a sun. And, oh, they come in pairs with the silver tree. This one is a female, and the silver tree is a male," Alex replied, carefully trimming the small branches and leaves of the sapling.

[Fine, fine. But at least make a pair. You can always find a balance later.]

Alex chuckled. "Maybe. For now, I'm keeping this small sapling as wand material."

[You're always so cautious. Sometimes, you should just let loose a bit.]

"Am I? I'm careless sometimes, though," Alex said as he carefully collected the glowing leaves and branches he had trimmed.

[You sound like an old man sometimes, you know that?]

"And yet you're the one nagging me like an elder," Alex shot back with a grin.

Lily laughed. [Hey, I'm not nagging. So, what are you going to do with those leaves and branches?]

"I'll give them to Arwen," Alex replied. "She'll know their value and how to use them, maybe."

Once satisfied with the trimmed sapling, Alex plucked a single strand of his hair and used it as a core to craft a wand.

Following the techniques he had observed at Ollivander's, he shaped the wand with precision.

The result was a beautifully crafted wand with a glassy appearance, intricate Elvish carvings, and a faint golden glow.

Testing the wand, Alex discovered its exceptional control over energy. It amplified his precision and carried sacred properties: light, protection, healing, restoration, and nurturing.

"It's perfect," Alex murmured, admiring the wand.

Lily chimed in. [So, is it better than what Ollivander makes?]

"I wouldn't say better, just... different. This wand is attuned to me and my energy," Alex explained.

Not stopping there, Alex repeated the process using Telperion, the Silver Tree of Valinor, as inspiration. The second wand mirrored the first in design but glowed with a silver light.

Its properties included purification, serenity, beauty, high magic damage, and amplification of soul magic. It was the ultimate counter to dark and malevolent forces.

Satisfied with his creations, Alex tidied up his study.

[So, what's next? More experiments?] Lily asked.

"Dinner," Alex replied, stretching as he stood. "After that, I'll focus on expanding Mín Heimr. Classes at Hogwarts will start soon, and I want the ring world to be more developed by then."

[Okay, glad you had a plan in advance. I thought you forgot that the world was still barren.]

"It's necessary," Alex said, leaving the study.

As he headed toward the dining area, his thoughts lingered on the possible living things he could put in his world.

After dinner, Alex returned to his room and sank his consciousness into the ring. His miniature avatar, Chibi Alex, materialized in Mín Heimr, glowing faintly with golden energy. Lily, in her shimmering avatar form, floated beside him.

The two descended to Pediás, the sprawling, plane world within the ring's universe. Alex paused midair, surveying the barren expanse beneath them.

"What should we create first, Lily?" Alex asked, his tone relaxed but curious.

"Oh! The Two Trees! Right at the center of the land!" Lily exclaimed, her excitement evident as she twirled in the air.

Alex let out a resigned sigh, shaking his head with a faint smile. "You just can't let go of the trees, can you?"

"Nope! They'll look magnificent!" Lily retorted, grinning.

The two glowing figures soared to the heart of the plane, where a vast, shimmering lake spanned the horizon, its surface glinting under the sun Alex had created earlier.

At the center of the lake, Alex raised an island using his will. The landmass rose slowly, water cascading from its edges as it stabilized.

With a single thought, Alex conjured the Two Trees: one silver, its leaves shimmering like moonlight, and one golden, radiating warmth and vitality.

Between their colossal trunks, he created a crystal-clear pool. Into it, he poured concentrated primordial energy, the essence glowing as it merged with the water, turning it into a glowing golden liquid.

The pool pulsed with raw magic, filling the surrounding air with magical properties. Alex sat cross-legged beneath the trees, closing his eyes. He spread his energy outward, shaping the vast world according to the layout in his mind.

Within moments, life began to take root. Across Pediás, vibrant flowering plants bloomed, their colors painting the landscape in vivid hues. Berry bushes sprouted in clusters, while towering trees formed dense forests.

Grasslands spread across the flat plains, their blades swaying gently in the breeze.

Beneath the surface of rivers, lakes, and oceans, marine vegetation like kelp forests and coral reefs came to life. Microscopic organisms and small marine creatures flourished, creating a balanced underwater ecosystem.

Only beneficial and beautiful insects, like bees, butterflies, and dragonflies, populated the skies and plants, their presence adding movement and sound to the still world.

Alex envisioned each creature and brought them into existence. Small animals like rats and rabbits appeared. Herds of wild horses galloped through the plains, families of deer grazed peacefully, and majestic tigers prowled the forests.

Birds of all sizes and colors took to the skies, eagles soaring over mountains, songbirds filled the air with harmonious melodies, while water fowls roam the waters.

From his memories of the Moors, Alex brought to life graceful unicorns, mighty hippogriffs, and shimmering Pegasi.

Phoenixes instinctively perched on the golden tree's branches, their fiery plumage a stark contrast to the lush golden leaves.

Occamies with iridescent scales coiled in secluded groves, and thunderbirds flapped their massive wings, creating storms in the skies.

Beyond animals, Alex introduced magical beings into Pediás.

Tribes of beautiful Fey, shiny horns on their heads and large soft feathered wings on their backs. Each consisting of five members, all women, were scattered across the land.

They surveyed their new home, their consciousness supplemented by Alex with common sense and awareness of all he created.

Like in Maleficent's universe, their appearances reflected their specific domains: forests, rivers, mountains, deserts, snowy peaks, or skies. Alex gave them the ability to use tools and forge them for their own use, giving them an advantage in maintaining balance of animal populations in each region.

Dryads emerged from trees, their forms glowing humanoid spirits wearing green leaf coverings on their bodies. Though they are genderless, they are immortal and will not die.

They have the power of rejuvenation and nurturing; they can appear and disappear within the land as long as plants are present. Like the forest spirits dancing through the woods, they maintain the balance of life in the forests and plains.

Long-lived Elves, fifty in number, all female, tall, graceful, and strikingly beautiful with pointed ears and an affinity for elemental magic and healing, could ride the wind fast and hear the far voices of the forest spirits.

They appeared as stewards of the land, and all plants were under their domain. Alex gave them the characteristics of a perfect race of the forest, peaceful, with respect for nature and the sanctity of life.

Alex instilled in them knowledge of medicine, craftsmanship, art, and music.

In the waters, a similar number of fifty beautiful female mermaids swam with shimmering tails and captivating voices, their movements as fluid as the waves they called home. Alex gave them control over water bodies, maintaining peace and balance.

They could also use water magic, giving them an advantage over other creatures, and the ability to have legs and roam the land for a short period of time. Similarly long-lived, they can hear and talk to the spirits of water.

Tiny winged beings like fairies, sprites, and pixies flitted through the air, their laughter like the chiming of bells, spreading mischief and wonder.

All that was beautiful, all that was pure without a hint of evil, was recreated in this land.

He would watch this land carefully, letting his voice or Lily's always guide them when they call. One day, he would bring Arwen to this place, and all she saw in this world would be the beauty and serenity of all that's living.

As Alex observed the world teeming with life, Lily hovered beside him, her expression one of satisfaction.

[You've outdone yourself, Alex. This place… it's better than what I imagined it to be.]

"Are you happy?" Alex asked, his gaze fixed on the thriving land. "Mín Heimr isn't just a sanctuary. It's our foundation, a place where magic, life, and imagination coexist."

Lily tilted her head. [Think you'll add human beings eventually?]

"Maybe," Alex mused. "But for now, I want it to remain pure, untouched by the complexities of civilization. Let the creatures thrive in their natural harmony first."

[Fair enough.]

Alex focused his consciousness back on his body, then removed the ring from his finger and set it gently above his desk. With a thought, his body transformed into particles of golden light, which seeped into the ring.

For the first time, Alex entered the world he had created in his physical form.
