Chapter 28: Fulfilling Vacation 2

Their journey continued to Egypt, where they explored the mystical side of the pyramids.

They explored the chambers of the pyramids. Alex noticed some hidden sections with bans placed on them; some sections even contained perfectly intact wizard tombs guarded by The Sphinx.

Harry was equally fascinated and kept trying to solve the riddles but failed. They did not linger there and instead went out to experience both the Muggle and magical sides of Egypt.

They also visited Africa, where they encountered native wizards who didn't use wands. Some tribes became hostile, which provided Harry with training partners.

They encountered fascinating creatures native to the land, and Alex taught Harry how to counter them skillfully.

Finally, Alex and Harry found themselves in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. For days, they camped and explored, encountering strange magical creatures like the Curupiras, red-haired, forest-dwelling dwarves native to Brazil.

Curupiras are fiercely protective of other magical creatures and would defend them if they felt humans were causing harm. They are the protectors of the forest and caretakers of the land.

With the help of a Curupira, Alex and Harry were guided safely through the forest. Along the way, they encountered a massive anaconda, with a body as thick as a water barrel and as long as three buses. They subdued it effortlessly and continued on their way.

They also discovered an ancient ruin hidden beneath the trees, remnants of a forgotten Mayan civilization. Inside the ruins, Alex sensed a faint magical fluctuation of energy beneath the stone slabs.

Using his enhanced vision, he found an entrance to a secret chamber protected by multiple wards and defensive spells.

Alex dismantled the protective spells, and they found a treasure chamber filled with magical artifacts, gold, and jewels. Alex stored everything in his ring and gave Harry a traceless, extended bag filled with treasures as well.

"I've read about El Dorado, a legendary city of gold, in this part of the region. Do you think it's real, Alex?" Harry asked.

"Maybe it is real, Harry. Who knows? Muggles don't think dragons are real, yet we breed them like livestock."

[I know where it is,] Lily interjected in Alex's mind.

"Really? Where?" Alex asked, intrigued.

[About five hundred miles south, then descend 2,350 feet below ground.]

"Uh, that's pretty deep. Maybe next time," Alex replied, sounding uninterested.

The sense of discovery lingered, leaving both Harry and Alex feeling happy for the rest of the trip.

A day before Harry's birthday on July 31st, Alex took him to the Burrow, the Weasley family home. The place was filled with warmth and laughter, and Harry immediately felt at home among the Weasleys.

They greeted him with open arms, welcoming him like family.

"Harry!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed, wrapping him in a tight hug. "You look so much better. How have you been?"

"Much better," Harry said, smiling brightly. "Thanks to Alex."

Alex grinned and handed out the gifts he had brought, clothes, snacks, and trinkets from their travels, as well as items he had purchased before returning to the Harry Potter world.

"You must be Alex," Mrs. Weasley turned to Alex with a grateful smile. "You look so tall and handsome, Ronald has been talking about you since he got here from school."

"Hello Mrs. Weasley, Mr. Weasley." Alex greeted as he shakes hands with them.

"He's more handsome than your idol mum!" Exclaimed George.

"Right! That Gilderoy Lockhart is just famous because of his books." Added Fred.

The Weasleys gathered around, excited to hear all about Harry's adventures and share stories of their own.

On Harry's 12th birthday, everyone surprised him with a special gift.

Alex had arranged for Sirius's release from Azkaban, knowing that the truth about his innocence needed to be revealed. Alex sent a letter to

Dumbledore before his trip with Harry, informing him about Peter Pettigrew's presence as an Animagus at the Weasleys'.

Dumbledore took action, bringing Peter Pettigrew to the Ministry of Magic and demanding Sirius's release. It caused an uproar throughout the wizarding world, with Fudge, being the politician he was, blaming all the mistakes on the previous administration.

When Sirius walked into the room with Dumbledore and Hermione, Harry's eyes showed a mix of anticipation and nervousness.

"Happy birthday, Harry," Sirius grinned, pulling him into a tight hug.

The room erupted in cheers, and Harry felt a warmth he hadn't known in years. Surrounded by friends, family, and people who cared about him, Harry realized that this was what it meant to truly be happy.

The rest of the night was filled with celebration. They ate, laughed, and shared stories, all while celebrating Harry's birthday.

Alex watched with satisfaction as Harry reveled in the love, friendship, and family that had always been just out of reach.

Outside the Burrow, Alex handed Dumbledore a memory stone containing a copy of the entire Harry Potter movie series with altered details matching the real-world characters.

"This is what you wanted, Professor. A prophecy crystal. Pour your magic energy into it, and it will project the entire story of Harry's past, present, and future. The information about Voldemort's weaknesses and how to kill him is in there as well."

Dumbledore was silent for a moment, then took the crystal. "What you've done for Harry, I thank you... and also for this favor. If you ever have questions about magic or need something from this old man, don't hesitate to ask, Alex."

Alex smiled at the old professor, "That's reassuring professor."
