I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 329: Julian's resolve

Alden laughed lightly, shaking his head. "It might be. But I want to experience how normal people live. No titles, no responsibilities. Just the freedom to see the world with my own eyes."

Julian's smile softened as he studied his father's face. It was rare for Alden to express such desires, but Julian understood.

Perhaps this was Alden's way of seeking peace before stepping away from it all.

"I guess we all need our own escape."

Alden stretched and composed himself. "Let's go. The king and queen have arrived, and we can't make them wait any longer."

Julian straightened his posture, puffing out his chest. "Lead the way, Father."

Together, they walked down the hallway of the castle. Midway through their path, they were joined by Regina, Eva, and Eleanor.

Regina's presence was as graceful as ever. Meanwhile, Eva and Eleanor walked proudly beside their family.

As they continued their path toward the grand hall, Julian glanced at his mother and noticed her tense posture. Even someone so composed seemed to be nervous about today's event.

Eva caught his gaze, and her lips curved into a small smile. Eleanor, too, gave him a knowing look.

"Ready for the ceremony, Julian?" Eva asked softly.

Julian glanced at her and gave a small nod. "It's a big day, but I have been ready for this my whole life."

Regina, who was walking ahead with Alden, briefly turned her head and met his gaze. For a moment, their gaze lingered, and Julian could feel her silent support.

Julian stepped into the grand hall, with his family following closely behind him. The moment his figure appeared at the entrance, a complete silence fell over the room. Every eye in the hall locked onto him, some in awe, others in admiration, and some in quiet thoughts.

He walked slowly, surveying the room and observing every face.

As he made his way toward the stage, he could feel the weight of the gaze and the moment pressing down on him.

When he finally reached the stage, every single person in the hall stood in unison. The dukes, the nobles, the royal family—everyone.

Julian's gaze swept across the gathered crowds, taking in the respect and curiosity in their eyes. It was a moment he had always dreamed of.

Alden, who was standing beside him, broke the silence with a strong, loud voice.

"Welcome to Easvil. Today we mark a new beginning for our family."

With those words, Alden turned toward the king and lowered his head in a bow.

The king, commanding as ever, stepped forward. His gaze shifted between the gathered nobles and the heir to the Easvil Duchy.

He reached into his royal robes and took out a scroll that was securely locked with the golden seal of the royal family.

The hall fell even quieter, their anticipation growing with each passing second.

Everyone knew what the scroll meant—this was the official recognition of Julian's rise.

With a solemn expression, the king unrolled the scroll and began to read aloud:

"The family of Easvil has been one of the strongest powerhouses of our kingdom. They have always been loyal to the crown and have served as the sword of the kingdom.

And today, the leader of this great family will change. From Alden Easvil, the son of Grand Duke Augustus Easvil, to Julian Easvil, the son of Alden Easvil."

A wave of applause erupted throughout the hall. The nobles, the royals, and the guests all recognized the significance of the moment.

Julian stood tall with a charming smile gracing his face. His gaze remained steady as he accepted the applause, knowing that this was only the beginning of his journey.

Alden gave a small but proud smile. It was clear he felt a sense of relief and fulfillment as he passed on the role to his son.

As the clapping slowly died down, the king spoke once more. "Julian Easvil, I present to you your new title, your new responsibilities, and the future of your family. May you lead with strength and honor, as your ancestors have done before you."

The room was still as it awaited Julian's response.

Julian knelt gracefully before the king with his head lowered. His hands were raised, and the king carefully placed the scroll into his hands.

The crowd observed this moment with eager expectation.

The king stepped back and turned to the gathered nobles, "This marks the beginning of a new era for the Easvil family and the kingdom alike."

The hall erupted into applause, and for a brief moment, Julian remained silent.

The crowd's eyes were on him, many uncertain, some skeptical, and others hopeful. His gaze swept over the room, pausing for a brief moment on his family, who stood proudly beside him.

They gave him subtle nods, their silent support fueling his confidence.

Julian took a deep breath, then slowly stood up, straightening his back and lifting his chin. He turned to face the crowd before him, and the crowd fell into a hushed stillness.

With the scroll in his hands and the eyes of the kingdom upon him, Julian spoke:

"I have always dreamed of power," he began, his voice booming through the hall.

"From the very start of my journey, even before I became a mage, I was obsessed with power. I was fortunate enough to encounter unexpected helping hands that significantly impacted my life. Without their presence, I highly doubt I could have ever reached this position."

He paused, letting his words sink in. Every face before him represented a piece of his journey—some who had helped him rise and others who had doubted him.

His gaze softened for a moment, and then he continued.

"They all shaped me into the person I am today," he said. "I made my fair share of mistakes, and I won't deny them. But those mistakes were my lessons. I do not regret any of them. They are part of the journey that brought me here."
