Chapter 209 The Dead Phillips
After talking to Xiao Xu, Avro hung up the crystal ball.
"I'm afraid this is not something a Chinese wizard did." Sirius said, "Judging from what you just chatted with, love potions are not available in China, right?"
"They don't seem to be able to detect the love potion," Aphra agreed. "Where did the British wizard die?"
"The British Ministry of Magic." Sirius pursed his lips and said.
Avro was so shocked that she couldn't speak for a moment and looked at Sirius with wide eyes.
Avro leaned back, nodded blankly, and said no more.
When the two entered the country, a man in police uniform glanced at them and registered them.
Of course, wizards entering and leaving a country will be registered.
And this record has to be obtained from the Ministry of Magic.
Avro stretched out her wand and prepared to board the Knight Bus.
Sirius stopped Aphra with a smile and winked at her, "Let's go, take brother's car."
Aphra tilted her head, Sirius clapped his hands, and a cool motorcycle drifted in front of the two of them.
"It's pretty cool." Avro patted the back seat, "But..."
"Are you afraid?"
"..." Avro squinted at him, "The method of provoking generals? It's not easy to use."
Sirius shrugged, held the handle of the motorcycle, raised his long legs, and sat astride it.
"Can't you come up, Afu?" Sirius asked her enthusiastically, as if if she didn't come up, he would immediately abandon his partner and walk away.
How presumptuous.
Before, she acted like an elder and called herself Miss Greengrass, but now her true nature has been revealed.
Avro grabbed Sirius' windbreaker and calmly got on the motorcycle.
"Hold tight, be careful not to be thrown out." Sirius instructed.
Avro snorted, "How can - ah!"
Caught off guard, Sirius twisted the handle all the way and the motorcycle flew out. Avro instantly hugged Sirius's waist tightly.
Her blond hair is flowing, and her clothes are fluttering.
The scent of a mature man is reassuring but also has the arrogance and wantonness of a young boy, making people dizzy and disoriented.
After riding for an unknown amount of time, Sirius rode the motorcycle in two circles, tilting the body and supporting his feet on the ground.
Aphra grabbed Sirius' arm and got out of the car, her hair messy.
Sirius parked the car and winked at Avro, "I was too anxious, a little too fast."
"It's okay." Avro replied stiffly, shook off his hand and walked forward.
She entered a phone booth on the street, and Sirius shamelessly squeezed in before she closed the door.
The two of them huddled in the phone booth, and Avro pressed the number.
As soon as the ground became empty, the two of them disappeared into the phone booth in an instant.
"Ding."
"Register?" A witch asked loudly when she saw someone coming.
"Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Sirius Black." Sirius strode forward without squinting.
As he spoke, he also threw his employee ID card to the witch.
Avro was beside him, her high heels clicking.
She quickly glanced at the people around her. The wizards were more or less looking in their direction.
Avro showed the badge to the witch at the front desk.
"Chinese Secret Reconnaissance Team, Avro Greengrass." After she finished speaking, she looked at Sirius, "Where are you going?"
"Go to the place where the incident occurred." As soon as Sirius entered the Ministry of Magic, his playful expression turned serious.
He did not choose to go upstairs, but walked directly to a room on the first floor.
"The first floor is the office of the Minister of Magic, Fu——" Avro hesitated.
"It was an ordinary employee of the Minister's Logistics Department who died in the Logistics Department." Sirius said with a sullen face, "A Phillips, we can take a look at the scene and listen to the witnesses."
"Who are the witnesses?" Avro took out his notebook and prepared to record it.
To be honest, she has no experience. It stands to reason that she is just an intern at the Chinese Ministry of Magic - the kind without salary.
"Here." Sirius raised his chin, and Aphra followed Sirius' gaze.
Percy Weasley stood opposite.
Avro smiled subconsciously, and Percy nodded lightly, "Let's go into the room and talk."
After entering the logistics office, Avro scanned the surrounding items, took out the camera from the bag, and took a few photos.
"Yesterday afternoon, Mr. Crouch asked me to get a piece of information from Minister Fudge. When I passed the office of the Logistics Department, I found that the door was closed. Through the gap, I saw a naked Phillips."
Percy said slowly, Aphra stared into his eyes, and then nodded.
Percy was stunned, "Did you Legilimency me?"
Avro raised her lips slightly, "Can't you?"
"You can do whatever you want." Percy replied without hesitation.
"You still have time to flirt during work hours?" Sirius exclaimed in a fuss.
Aphra coughed and quickly recorded Percy's words with her quill, "It's a pity that you don't have anyone to flirt with."
"Where was he?"
"The upper half of his body was lying on the sofa and the lower half of his body was dragging on the floor," Percy described. "His facial expression was very shocked."
"Shocked?" Avro thought for a moment and fell into deep thought.
After Percy told what he had seen, Aphra waved her hand, "Okay, Mr. Weasley, you can leave now."
Percy paused, nodded slightly, and prepared to leave.
"Ahem, Percy," Aphra called him softly. She approached him and stuffed something into his hand, "Goodbye."
Percy's mood improved, he hid his smile and walked out of the office comfortably. He spread his hands, holding the glasses that had been left in Aphra's pocket.
"Phillips is Fudge's subordinate." Sirius closed the door of the office and whispered, "Last time the Department of Mysteries had a fierce battle, and the people realized that they had been deceived by Fudge, and they protested and asked Fudge to step down."
"But Fudge pushed Umbridge out to take the blame," Avro frowned, "I know that."
"Fudge is panicking now," Sirius' voice was inaudible, but his words were clear, "Phillips's matter has been known to everyone within the Ministry of Magic, and now he can't suppress the voices of doubt again."
Avro understood that there was another reason. She raised her lips and said, "So when you joined the Ministry of Magic, he recruited you to show that he knew his mistakes and corrected them?"
"You can say that," Sirius smiled, "you really understand him, he is smart."
"I have another question," Avro raised her eyebrows, "Who in the Ministry of Magic suggested linking this matter with the murder case in China?"
"Head of the Auror Office, Rufus Scrimgeour," Sirius answered. "He happens to be my superior."
He frowned, "What's wrong? Why do you ask this?"
